00:00We're trying to live our life and we're not a threat, we just want to live in society like anyone else would.
00:07Trans rights do not erase women's rights. We are not taking their spaces, we are using the spaces we belong in.
00:13We are not kicking women out of bathrooms to go to urinate, we just exist and our rights do not come at the cost of women's rights.
00:20It affects every part of your life, it affects your work life, it affects your social life,
00:24it affects other people as well, thinking that they can treat you as lesser and maybe attack you or discriminate against you.
00:31It sends out a really, really bad message.
00:34I've come out because I'm the mother of Alice Lippmann, a young trans woman who died by suicide three years ago
00:40and I know firsthand how difficult she found it then to use public spaces out of fear and anxiety for how people might treat her
00:49and I'm here because I'm absolutely terrified for the trans community, what's being demanded of them.
