00:00So the proposals they put forward are nowhere near enough.
00:04They're saying they're taking people out of asylum hotels.
00:07They are fast-tracking, they're waving them through the immigration system
00:10and then just dumping the problem on local councils
00:13because, of course, once these people have their asylum claims,
00:17given the green light by Labour, they have to be housed by the local authority.
00:22So they are just shifting the burden.
00:25And the simple truth is they thought it was going to be easy.
00:28And yet, the first half of this year,
00:31we have seen the largest number of small boat arrivals since records began.
00:35And the Labour government are now living with the consequences
00:38of their complacency and laziness with regard to border control.
