00:59as we were looking at Nate Thrasher down on the track, so he was able to recover, he stayed back at third, and if I'm Hayden Deegan, I want to try to get around these guys early, because this race is going to be brutal,
01:09oh, mistake from Deegan, look at Mikkel Harrop there in third, trying to get him, but Lance Cobush,
01:18and that is Seth Hamaker down, we got chaos at the start of this moto, yeah, it just seems to happen, when the heat comes, these guys are anxious at first lap, bummer,
01:28now Cobush, always strong in the amateur ranks, has not quite been able to put it together as a pro, but you know these guys all have talent,
01:36we've seen it in the 250 class over and over, this guy is fast, and now he's got the opportunity to show the industry that that speed is still there,
01:45can he lead this first lap, that would be exciting for the privateer, yeah, absolutely, and he looks good at doing it,
01:50and I think for him, just confidence with all these guys, they're all so close, so for him being out here, you never know what this might turn into in the future,
01:57he's showing he belongs right now, Cochran doing the same thing, here it is, can he get a lap lead in the books, one turn left,

02:10and then you hear Deegan as always, ribbing the heck out of that Yamaha back there in third, but Cobush totally looks to part right now,

20:37he's been following Parker Ross around here for a few laps,
20:39and I'm just thinking about Sebastian Tortelli,

20:46who Parker Ross is right now,
20:48because for Tom Bial,
20:49he's a two-time MX2 world champion,
20:52trying to pass a relative newcomer,
20:54and this has not been the day Tom Bial wants,

20:59really putting in a strong effort here.

21:16this is championship season saving moment at this,
21:20and just tough,

21:23I think all these guys are a little behind Hayden,
21:25clearly,
21:26you got to try to find any kind of positive going,
21:29and this ain't helping Tom's case at this moment,
21:32but looks like Michael Moseman all over Levi for third place,
21:35that'd be a great finish for him if he can get around him.
21:38I still don't think it would be enough for the overall podium,
21:42but a moto podium would get him up on that box,
21:44and the fans would be pumped on that.
21:46He is a home track native,

21:49and it should come as a shock that he's riding really well here.
21:53Let's flash back to 2022,
21:55this guy was out here trying to run around and get the race win,
21:57so he's been through a lot,

22:02when everything is on,
22:03he can run with the best of him.
22:04He's certainly proven that today.

24:13so the tracks changed quite a bit,
24:16between practice,
24:17where all these other guys,
24:18they would make some changes,
24:19after watching that first moto,
24:21so Tom might be out here,
24:22trying to suit out,
24:23maybe struggling with the bike,
24:24maybe they missed the setup,
24:25and now he's starting to find his groove,
24:27so,
24:28definitely looking better,
24:29than he did a few laps ago.

24:34by skipping the first moto,
24:35it is actually a little bit fresher,
24:37didn't go out there in the heat,

30:16once Joe get in second,
30:17I mean that gap,
30:18it's not like it balloons a lot,
30:19it pretty much stabilizes,
30:21but Hayden has this ability,
30:22once he makes a pass,
30:23and he gets in the lead,
30:24and he puts in a heat,
30:26or a half a lap,
30:27or whatever it is,
30:28and gains that four seconds,
30:29and he puts everybody else,
30:30in a position,
30:31where they're gonna have to,
30:32take the chance to try to,
30:33outrun them,
30:34and that's gonna be hard to do,
30:35so.
30:38Could be a lot of this,
30:39coming this summer,
