00:00Good afternoon.
00:01Well it's been a bit of a slow start in places with low cloud lifting and breaking but we'll
00:06see a good deal of sunshine through the rest of this afternoon and that's all to do with
00:10this area of high pressure situated towards the north, the winds rotating clockwise drawing
00:16in a north-easterly flow so always feeling chillier along those North Sea coasts.
00:22But back to the rest of this afternoon, many of us seeing plenty of fine and settled weather,
00:27plenty of sunshine on offer but low cloud may just linger across those eastern coasts
00:33and with that north-easterly flow as well, it is going to be feeling rather chilly here
00:38but out towards the west, temperatures 21, 22, possibly 23 or 24 for western parts of Scotland.
00:47Now as we go through Saturday evening and overnight, well the land will cool and we'll start to
00:53see the return of this low cloud pushing in from the North Sea and further inland.
00:58It could be thick enough in places for some drizzle at times but out towards the west,
01:03that's where we'll hold on to the clearest skies and lighter winds and that'll allow a few mist
01:09and fog patches just to develop and perhaps even a touch of frost in some sheltered spots.
01:14So as for temperatures, like I said, chilly in the west but a cool start as we start Sunday morning
01:21underneath all this low cloud. So pretty grey and gloomy start across eastern parts of England,
01:28the Midlands and the southeast but as the sun gets going once again that should lift and break.
01:34It still may linger across those eastern coasts but for many of us actually it's another fine and
01:41unsettled day to come. There is the chance of the odd shower just breaking out across southern parts
01:46of Scotland and north western England later. As for temperatures, well it's still going to be
01:53feeling warm in that sunshine, 21 up to 22 or 23 degrees but where you've got this onshore flow
01:59across northern Scotland and down this eastern coast, always on the cooler side. Now as we look further
02:07ahead, many of us will see plenty of fine and dry weather but there is more of a chance of some
02:12showers. Make sure to hit subscribe so you don't miss any updates on those and I'll see you soon. Bye bye.
