00:00Good morning. I hope you had a lovely weekend. There is a bit of a change in the forecast this
00:05week. We'll see some welcome showers before something a bit more changeable as we head
00:10into next weekend. But through this morning, a bit of a messy picture out there. Quite a lot
00:14of cloud. There are some showers across parts of Wales, but they'll generally ease as we go
00:19through the afternoon for a time. But cloudier skies across northern parts of England, Northern
00:25Ireland and southern Scotland. And here, as we go through the afternoon, some showers will bubble up,
00:31some of them on the heavy side, perhaps even with the odd rumble of thunder. Still hold on to some
00:36low cloud across eastern parts of Scotland and northeastern England, but across much of East
00:42Anglia and the southeast, dry with plenty of sunny spells. And here, that's where we'll see the
00:49highest temperatures, 21, 22 degrees. So feeling warmer here, but compared towards the west,
00:56actually a cooler feeling day to come. We'll see higher 17 or 18 degrees, but with the cloud
01:02and the heavy downpours, it will be just generally feeling cooler than that of the weekend.
01:08So as we go through the rest of Monday evening, we'll see these swirl of cloud and showers generally
01:14easing for most of us. There may just be a few that still linger, but once that land cools, we'll again
01:20see the return of this low cloud feeding in from the North Sea out towards the west. That's where we
01:27hold on to the lengthiest clear skies. Otherwise, temperatures generally holding up underneath the
01:33cloud further towards the east, but out towards the west, it might just turn a little bit chilly to
01:38start Tuesday morning. So a similar picture to recent days, that low cloud will gradually lift,
01:45break and retreat back towards the coastline. Then many of us actually see a good deal of sunshine
01:51first thing on Tuesday, but once the sun gets going, we'll see showers bubbling up and some of
01:56these could be on the heavy side, especially across Northern Ireland, parts of Wales, Northern England,
02:02and perhaps even towards the south and west. Now, not everywhere is going to see these showers,
02:07so do stay tuned to the forecast. Best of the sunshine across Scotland and again towards the far
02:13south and east. Still chilly along those eastern coasts, but elsewhere, highs of up to 21 or 22 degrees.
02:22Now, looking further ahead to the week, we have got further showers in the south on Wednesday. Again,
02:28heavy and possibly thundery. Generally drier for most of us on Thursday, but a little bit cooler
02:34before something more changeable comes in next weekend. But for more details on all of that,
