00:00Hello there and a very good morning to you on this Thursday morning which yet

00:04again will be a dry one let's pick up on some detail first of all the bigger

00:08picture the reason why the weather is so settled and so dry high pressure routed

00:13to the north of the UK and it's blocking any low pressure systems rain and cloud

00:18moving in from the Atlantic or from continental Europe at the same time the

00:23position of this high towards the north of Scotland is allowing for a northerly

00:27wind along the eastern strip of Scotland as well as England delivering more

00:32cloud through the night into the mornings and temperatures won't be as high

00:35through the next few days so it's a rather cloudy start across eastern

00:39counties of England some har across Scotland but it is burning away the

00:43cloud breaking up so a fine afternoon to come with some sunny spells blue sky

00:48and sunshine elsewhere turning very warm indeed as temperatures arrive around 20

00:53to 22 degrees Celsius and where you see that sunshine further east UV levels

00:59will also be high temperatures here around 14 16 17 Celsius now through this

01:06evening and overnights late sunshine to end the day temperatures falling away it's

01:11going to be a rather cool one again so in the valleys or the glens temperatures

01:15will dip down to probably around four or five degrees Celsius that cloud returns to

01:19some parts of eastern England eastern Scotland into the early hours of Friday

01:24morning but yet again it will break through the morning allowing for some

01:29sunshine notice this low cloud will always be close to the east coast of

01:33England through the day but where you catch the sunshine 18 Celsius 22 across

01:37western Scotland that low clouds could be a bit more extensive on Saturday

01:42morning across England and Wales the tip of north east Scotland perhaps even

01:46Shetland but it's burning away very quickly so through the afternoon on

01:50Saturday we'll see a fine day with some high temperatures feeling very warm
