Hello there, good evening. More cloud around this afternoon and also some showers, and
00:05
that is a sign to come over the next couple of days or so. But back to this evening, most
00:10
showers largely easing away, though we might still see the odd one or two linger on for
00:14
much of the night. But the main thing we'll see tonight is the return of the low cloud
00:18
drifting in from the North Sea, and that might just lead to quite a murky start by the time
00:23
we reach the morning, particularly across eastern counties. But many towns and cities
00:27
widely remaining in the mid to high single figures. So it should be a fairly decent start
00:34
for most, but still some low cloud lingering across eastern areas, eventually burning back
00:38
to the coast through the course of the morning. Then you will see plenty of sunshine, likely
00:42
more sunshine than was around this afternoon. And some showers bubbling up into the afternoon,
00:48
particularly across northern Ireland, southern parts of Scotland, northern parts of England,
00:52
perhaps even across Wales, central parts of England. Now most showers should be just largely
00:56
moderate, though we might get the odd heavy one, perhaps even the odd rumble of thunder,
01:00
particularly across northern Ireland. But for most, once again, it should be a largely dry
01:05
afternoon, feeling a little bit warmer compared to this afternoon. Highs reaching around 23 degrees
01:10
Celsius, particularly across the south. Then later into the evening, once again, some showers
01:17
lingering on, but most easing away through the overnight period. Once again, a return of the cloud
01:22
still across eastern areas. But the main focus will be as we head into Wednesday across central
01:26
and southern parts. More cloud drifting in here, once again, leading to a murky start.
01:31
And also some showers by the morning as well. Still a chance that these could be a little bit heavy,
01:35
particularly across southern parts of Wales, southern parts of England. So turning a little bit cooler
01:40
under clear skies across the very far north, but quite a mild night to come across central and
01:45
southern parts. And although the rain is welcome for some, I know not all of us are a fan,
01:50
but it does look like a slightly unsettled day on Wednesday, particularly through the course of
01:54
the morning. More clouds, some rain, some showers drifting in across southern and central parts.
02:00
So a slightly different feel compared to what we've had over the last couple of weeks. But
02:04
elsewhere across northern Ireland, Scotland, northern parts of England, well, still a return
02:09
of the sunshine. Wall to wall, blue skies for many areas and still feeling warm. Highs reaching
02:14
around 20 degrees Celsius, but a little bit cooler where we see the cloud and showers across the south.
02:21
Then how about for the rest of the week? Well, eventually later Wednesday, we'll see the
02:25
cloud and showers drift away. This cold front is going to bring in some slightly cooler air as it
02:30
drifts in across that eastern edge of the high. So potentially some quite cold nights to finish
02:36
off the week. And then all eyes out to the west as we begin the bank holiday weekend, a return of
02:42
Atlantic mobility. So more cloud and showers, potentially even some longer spells of rain moving in
02:46
from the west as we head through on Saturday. But for more information on that, don't forget
