00:00Hello there, good evening. A return of the low cloud for some, but for others it should

00:05remain dry and fairly clear. But that means temperatures are soon going to be slipping

00:09away overnight, particularly across the west and across the far north. Scotland, for example,

00:14we may see temperatures just about dip below freezing. But for many, particularly where

00:18any low cloud lingers across southern Scotland, northern parts of England and towards dawn

00:22across central and southern parts, that is going to keep temperatures up. But for many

00:26it is going to be a chillier start to finish off the week.

00:31Then through the course of the morning, any low cloud clearing fairly readily and once

00:35again we'll see a return of the sunshine. Wall to wall blue skies in many areas, particularly

00:40across the west. But it's really across eastern areas that we hold on to those cloudier skies

00:45and more of a northeasterly breeze that is going to make things feel a little chillier here.

00:51For many though, particularly across the west, it's going to remain feeling warm. Still highs

00:55of 23 degrees Celsius, particularly across the south and across the very far west.

01:01Into the evening, it's a bit of a rinse and repeat really. We'll see a return of that low

01:05cloud drifting in from the North Sea. The only difference is it could be slightly more widespread

01:10as we head through the early hours of Saturday. So a few more of us waking up to those cloudy

01:15and potentially quite grey skies. But across Scotland, Northern Ireland, remaining fairly clear

01:20here. But once again, that's where we could see some lower temperatures.

01:25It will cross much of England and Wales to start the weekend. Lots of grey skies on offer.

01:29But similarly, through the course of the morning, the warmth will lift and break that cloud fairly

01:34nicely. But still a chance it could linger through much of the day across eastern coasts, where

01:39once again we'll continue to see that northeasterly breeze, just adding on to the chill of things.

01:43But still for many, highs in the low 20s. So a warm and pleasant start to the weekend.
