00:00Hello there, good evening. More fog as we head into the overnight period and still plenty

00:05of low cloud on offer. We're going to start to see a bit of a shift in our wind direction,

00:09more of a southerly, so that's going to push all this cloud that we're seeing across the

00:12far south, pushing it into more areas of northern Wales and also northern parts of England.

00:17So that's going to lead to quite a grey and dank start by the time we reach Friday morning.

00:22It should stay largely dry, though we could see some drizzly spots around hilly areas,

00:26particularly across western parts of Northern Ireland. Also north-western Scotland could

00:30wake up to quite a damp start as we head into Friday morning. And also turning very windy

00:35across the far north-west too, a risk we could see some gales across the far north of Scotland.

00:40It is going to be fairly mild here overnight, lows of around 7 Celsius, but across the rest

00:44of England and Wales, particularly across the south-east, could be quite a chilly night

00:47on offer. We may even see some pockets of frost in any clearer spells.

00:52For Friday itself, we're actually not going to see much change, still plenty of cloud

00:57around, some quite grey skies. A chance we could see some brightness, the best chance

01:01is just to the north-east of any high ground. Largely dry once again, though similar across

01:06north-west Scotland, perhaps western parts of Northern Ireland, a bit damper here with

01:11outbreaks of rain and drizzle and also still fairly windy with perhaps some quite long

01:15spells of rain across the far north of Scotland towards the end of the day. Despite this though,

01:20this is where we'll see the mildest temperatures, highs of around 10 to 11 Celsius, maybe even

01:2412 Celsius in some spots. But across the far south-east, those temperatures are going to

01:28struggle under cloudier skies, highs of only around 5 to 6 Celsius here, so a chilly day

01:34on offer across the south-east. Then into the evening once again, not really much change,

01:40still plenty of cloud around, though we could once again see some clear spells. The only

01:43difference is it is going to be feeling much chillier as we head into Saturday morning

01:48and still once again fairly windy across the far north-west of the country. But it's

01:52across northern parts of England, central and southern areas that we could just dip

01:56below zero, so feeling chilly here, once again a chance we could see some frost. Temperatures

02:01down a degree or two by Saturday morning across the north-west, but there's still a fairly

02:04mild night on offer. To start the weekend, there are still going to be plenty of cloudier

02:10skies, but a good chance we could see more brightness develop, particularly as we head

02:15towards the afternoon, mainly across Wales, parts of northern England, perhaps later

02:18across south-west England too. We do have a frontal system trying to edge its way in

02:22from the west, but it's fairly slow moving, but just a chance we could see some rain just

02:27creep into western parts of Scotland towards the end of the day, where once again across

02:31Scotland and Northern Ireland, temperatures are just above average for the time of year,

02:34highs of around 8 to 9 Celsius. But once again, across the rest of England and Wales, particularly

02:39the south-east where we're seeing those cloudy skies linger once again, temperatures really

02:43struggling here, only seeing highs of around 3 Celsius, so a chilly start to the weekend
