00:00Hello there, good morning. Well it might be feeling like the wet and windy weather is

00:04never going to end for some of us but if you're on the hunt for something a bit drier, I may

00:07have some good news for you later on in the week. For now though, there's plenty of heavy

00:12showers once again skirting their way across the country, merging into longer spells of

00:16rain at times. Once again, there is the risk of hail and thunder too. It could be quite

00:20a wet day on offer across parts of Wales, parts of Yorkshire, Lincolnshire for example

00:24could see quite a wet day on offer and still with a yellow warning in force across southern

00:28parts of Wales so there could be some flooding here still, so do take care. And there's also

00:32plenty of showers feeding in around parts of Northern Ireland, northern coasts of Scotland

00:37too. Once again they could be heavy, we may even see some snow across the hills in Scotland.

00:42Temperatures are around about average for the time of year, perhaps slightly milder

00:45just to the south but that obviously being offset by plenty of showers moving through.

00:50As we head into the evening, once again still plenty of showers for the first part of the

00:54evening, largely becoming confined to the far south as we head through into the evening.

00:59That means plenty of clear spells across parts of Northern Ireland, northern parts of England

01:03and Wales so that means a slightly chillier night on offer as we head through into Wednesday

01:08morning but once again we still can't rule out a few showers feeding into Northern Ireland,

01:12northern parts of Scotland where still they could fall as snow across hilly areas. So

01:16likely a chillier night on offer but it should be largely dry for many of us by the time

01:20we reach the morning. And as we head into Wednesday we do just need to keep an eye on

01:25this area of low pressure that skirts towards the English Channel, bringing in plenty of

01:29very heavy rain and also some strong winds. A few models earlier on had this slightly

01:34further north so perhaps a chance we could see some more widespread rain here but for

01:39the time being it looks like most of the rain is going to be confined to the very far south

01:42so after a dry start we'll start to see cloud thicken here, some outbreaks of rain across

01:47southern counties. It's going to be a very wet and windy day across the Channel Islands

01:51but to the north of this you can see there's still actually plenty of dry weather around,

01:54even some cloud breaking up into the afternoon leading to some sunny spells. Still can't

01:59rule out a few showers, particularly around the coasts of Northern Ireland, around coasts

02:03of Scotland too but many inland areas seeing a much drier and calmer day by the time we

02:08reach Wednesday and temperatures fairly unchanged, once again around about average for the time

02:12of year. Still slightly milder across the south but once again that being offset by

02:15all that cloud and rain. Now for the rest of the week once this area of low pressure

02:22moves its way towards the continent we do actually see a ridge of high pressure building

02:25as we head into Thursday so plenty of dry and fine conditions for Thursday but then

02:30we do start to see this next frontal system move its way in for the end of the week bringing

02:35in some cloud, also some outbreaks of rain but it looks to move through fairly quickly

02:39so once again on Friday there should be plenty of dry weather around. For more details on
