Hello. Well, some of that low cloud has been quite stubborn to clear today, and we'll see
00:05
the return of low cloud as we go through this evening and overnight. So take a look at the
00:10
bigger picture, though. We're under the influence of high pressure, so fine, dry, and settled
00:15
for most of us, but with the winds coming in from that northeasterly direction, that's
00:20
where we're just feeding in that cloud from the North Sea. So as we go through the rest
00:25
of Saturday evening and overnight, plenty of clear skies well out towards the west,
00:30
but once the land cools, we'll see the return of this blanket of low cloud pushing further
00:36
inland. Perhaps not as extensive further west, though, compared to this morning, but it could
00:42
be thick enough still for the odd patch of drizzle or light rain. But in the clearest skies, temperatures
00:48
will fall away. We could see a touch of frost in places, perhaps even some mist and fog patches.
00:54
So as we start Sunday morning, a cool, grey, gloomy start across eastern areas and northern
01:01
parts of Scotland as well. The low cloud should start lifting and breaking once that sun gets
01:07
going, but it could linger for a time across east Midlands down towards the southeast of
01:12
England too. Otherwise, a good deal of fine and bright weather is on the cards on Sunday.
01:19
There is just the chance of the odd showers developing across the far south of Scotland
01:24
and northwestern England too. But otherwise, it's still going to be feeling pleasantly warm
01:30
in that sunshine, especially out towards the west, highs of 22, 23 degrees. But where you
01:36
hold on to this onshore flow, especially across northern parts of Scotland and running down that
01:42
eastern coast, it's still going to be feeling rather cool. So as we go through Sunday evening,
01:49
then we've still got the risk of some showers across parts of southern Scotland. They'll generally
01:53
start easing. Then, well, it's a bit of a rinse and repeat. We'll see further low cloud, hugging
01:59
coast and moving further inland as well. Most places should stay largely dry. And then temperatures
02:05
actually are going to be quite similar to tonight as well. Generally around 8 to 10 degrees. But in any
02:12
clear spells, temperatures could quickly fall away. So as we go through Monday morning, then quite a lot
02:19
of cloud in the mix. But once again, that will start lifting and breaking. But the exception, as we go
02:25
into the afternoon, we'll see further cloud, but also perhaps some showers just breaking out that could
02:30
be on the heavy side. A bit of uncertainty in exact position of those. So do keep an eye out on the
02:36
forecast for that. But otherwise, there's still a good deal of fine and dry weather around, especially
02:41
across Northern Ireland and central parts of Scotland too. Still going to be feeling warm where you do get
02:47
that sunshine. So still low 20s, 21, possibly 22. But where you've still got that onshore flow with the
02:54
winds coming in from the northeast, still going to be feeling on the cool side and especially under
03:00
any lingering cloud as well. And that's a similar picture as we go through Tuesday and Wednesday.
03:06
Plenty of fine and dry weather on the cards, but still with the chance of some showers that could
03:11
perhaps turn heavy and thundery. But make sure to hit subscribe so you don't miss any details of that.
03:16
And I'll catch you very soon. Bye bye.
