00:00We were just at your premiere the other day, how was it?
00:03How was the big night for you guys?
00:05It was so fun, it was so surreal to have it at the Paramount lot.
00:08We were like, oh, people watch this show?
00:10I think for the longest amount of time we always had this running joke in our group
00:13that we feel like we're filming a home movie and no one's ever going to see it,
00:16so it's so fun to see it come to real life and everyone watch it.
00:19Especially for the first season, what was it like, that experience watching the season back?
00:24Was it surreal and what was the reaction from the Mormon community?
00:28Yeah, it was surreal because we're in these moments with our real friend group
00:31and you forget everyone's going to watch it back and have an opinion
00:33and you don't get to watch your memories back very often, obviously, so it was crazy.
00:38The Mormons were really mad at us in the beginning, I think, because they were like,
00:41this isn't what Mormonism is about, like, you're a bad example.
00:44But in reality, we're just sharing our experiences and our real lives and that's valid.
00:48But I think they've softened up a little.
00:50No, for sure. I think that their reactions at first were valid.
00:53I mean, I feel like I get the fear behind it, wondering if we were going to misrepresent.
00:56But if anything, I feel like we're showing just Mormons at different levels within the faith
00:59and I think that's really cool.
01:01Is there anything this season that you were kind of like,
01:03I wish that they didn't show it like that or that's not really how it went down?
01:07We haven't seen it yet.
01:08Yeah, so we actually have no idea, so I will let you know afterwards.
01:12What about from last season?
01:15They just cut a lot.
01:16Obviously, we only got eight episodes last year and we filmed so much more.
01:20So I feel like there were more personal storylines for a lot of us that got cut.
01:23So I'm just hoping as seasons progress, you get to know each of us more as people.
01:27Yeah, absolutely, Miriam, what you said.
01:29I feel like in future seasons, it would be great for all the girls to be able to share their backstories
01:33because honestly, all of us have been through a lot and I feel like it's amazing
01:37and we hope to just inspire people, so hopefully we get to share that.
01:40I know there has been some tension between certain cast members here or there,
01:44but you guys all still film TikToks together.
01:46So does it ever get awkward?
01:48Are there things that we're not seeing behind the scenes where you are kind of hashing it out?
01:51You see that on our show, actually.
01:53Luckily, we're filming all the time.
01:54So yeah, there's definitely a weird dynamic where mom talk is a business
01:58and we have to show up and do the job and there are fights and tensions.
02:02Sometimes we're able to be professional, but it's just kind of part of the game, unfortunately.
02:06Yeah, I mean, content creation was how we started our job.
02:09So at the end of the day, that's kind of what we have to do together.
02:11And I feel like if you see it in that way, even if there is type of contention
02:15and see it more as like a business, then I think that you can get through the contention naturally.
02:18Yeah, I feel like a lot of people are just obsessed with you guys both on TikTok and on the show.
02:23What is something either on TikTok, it could be a person, a trend that you're currently obsessing over?
02:29Oh, that's a good one.
02:31I'm trying to think.
02:32I know, I'm trying to think of one.
02:34Oh, do you know that trend that they look up somebody on someone's like Facebook account
02:38that like you would not know that they know?
02:40Like they say like, oh, their mom's friend from high school.
02:44And they, yes, they're like, I'm so hungry, I could eat.
02:48I could eat this or like you say a celebrity's name or something.
02:51Yeah, what do you what would you say?
02:52You're so hungry, you could say that I could eat the villain of season two.
02:57Oh, OK, you're so hungry, you could eat.
03:00Hmm.
03:03I don't know.
03:03I'm trying to think my ex-husband.
03:07See, done.
03:08Amazing.
