00:08Yes.

00:08Did you experience that?

00:09Oh my gosh.

00:10When I was 14, I did ramp modeling.

00:13Okay.

00:14Prior to being a beauty queen, my exposure was ramp, commercial, and print.

00:20They said I was skinny.

00:22I said I was competitive.

00:25I was losing my appetite little by little.

00:30It was true that I was losing my appetite.

00:33For years, it was like 5 p.m. and I couldn't eat even a spoonful.

00:40My mom noticed it.

00:41What my mom did when she took me out of the restaurant, she showed me pictures.

00:45Of food.

00:46There was no food.

00:47That's it.

00:47You lost your appetite.

00:49My mom told me,

00:51My child, you will die.

00:53Yes.

00:54That's when I woke up.

00:55My child, you will die because of what you're doing.

00:58Think about it.

00:59For years, I was like that.

01:01I was just pretending to eat.

01:02What do you call that condition?

01:04Anorexia nervosa.

01:06Oh.

01:07It's really a mental condition.

01:09It's associated with depression.

01:11It's like your brain is wrong in being accepted in the world.

01:15How long did you spend there?

01:1814 to 16 years old.

01:20Two years.

01:21Yeah, how did you get out of it?

01:23Therapy was popular.

01:24What did you do?

01:25I prayed to the Lord,

01:26Lord, please give me back my appetite.

01:29And I remember telling God,

01:31When I get my appetite back,

01:33I will pray that it won't disappear.

01:35So, did you experience depression?

01:39Did you get into that?

01:40Yeah.

01:41I was 23 years old when I got pregnant.

01:44And then I broke up.

01:45I was 5 months pregnant.

01:47Ah, during the pregnancy.

01:50So, after that, post-mortem,

01:53and then no work,

01:54and then you're heartbroken,

01:56you're pregnant, you can't drink alcohol,

01:58you can't move,

01:59and then I gave birth.

02:01And then I was 200 pounds.

02:03So, really, wow.

02:05Where were you then?

02:06Were you with your dad?

02:08No, I was in Bukod.

02:09At age 28, I started developing panic attacks.

02:1328 to 30.

02:15At age 30, that's when I decided

02:18I needed help.

02:20So, I consulted a psychiatrist.

02:23And then, that's the best thing that ever happened to me.

02:26That's the best decision I made.

02:28And it's not embarrassing.
