Band of rain pushing over interior as high temperatures continue on east coast.

00:00Hello, Sarah from the Bureau with your National Weather Forecast for tomorrow, so that's Tuesday

00:04the 26th of November.

00:07So we'll start off by looking at tomorrow's weather maps, and what stands out is this

00:11deepening low pressure system in the Bight that's drawing down tropical moisture all

00:15the way into southern states.

00:18Now it's going to reinvigorate a cloud band extending down with showers, areas of rain

00:23and thunderstorms.

00:25Out in the west this high pressure system here extends a ridge bringing clear and settled

00:30weather to southern WA, while another high in the Tasman Sea directs warm northerly winds

00:36across the east.

00:38But we'll start off by taking a closer look at Queensland, where we have showers, areas

00:43of rain and thunderstorms increasing from the west, with potentially locally heavy falls.

00:50Now there's also possible showers about the east coast in an onshore flow, but otherwise

00:54dry.

00:55For Brisbane, a partly cloudy day with a slight chance of a shower, most likely during the

01:00morning, a top of 29 degrees.

01:03For New South Wales, showers, areas of rain and thunderstorms about western, central and

01:08southern parts, and also the chance of a shower or storm about the northeast ranges.

01:14Daytime temperatures are well above average on and east of the ranges, much more nearer

01:20average underneath that cloud band elsewhere.

01:23For Sydney, a mostly sunny day and a top of 31 degrees, grading to high 30s about the

01:29western suburbs.

01:30And for Canberra, a shower or two and a possible storm and a top of 31 degrees.

01:36For Victoria, it's going to be a wet and humid day with showers, areas of rain and thunderstorms,

01:43more frequent on and north of the ranges in the east, and the storms may be severe

01:48with heavy rainfall possible.

01:51For Melbourne, a humid day with a shower or two and the chance of a storm, a top of 26

01:56degrees.

01:57For Tasmania, humid with light showers developing during the afternoon and evening.

02:04Daytime temperatures between 4 to 8 degrees above the November average.

02:08For Hobart, a partly cloudy day and a top of 23 degrees.

02:12Over to South Australia, we've got those showers, areas of rain and thunderstorms increasing

02:18from the west and becoming more frequent during the afternoon and evening.

02:23Storms may be severe, bringing heavy rainfall, damaging winds or large hail.

02:27So if you do live across South Australia, it's a good day to keep an eye on the radar

02:31and stay up to date with the warnings.

02:34For Adelaide, a shower or two and the chance of a thunderstorm, a top of 32 degrees.

02:40Out west, generally dry with just some showers and storms in the north and through the interior,

02:47and also some showers peppered about the south coast.

02:51For Perth, a sunny day and a top of 26 degrees.

02:55For the north, we've got scattered showers and storms, and those storms may be severe

03:00through the interior of the NT.

03:02For Darwin, a shower or two and a possible thunderstorm, a top of 32.
