00:00Walking into J.B.'s down for the first time felt like stepping into a time machine that had been set to chaos.

00:06The moment I crossed the threshold I was greeted by a wall of sound that could only be described as a sonic assault.

00:13It was like someone had taken a blender, thrown in a few guitars, a drum kit, and a whole lot of angst and hit puree.

00:21I was immediately struck by the sight of Mohawks that defied gravity and leather jackets that looked like they had survived a small fire.

00:30I thought I was prepared for the punk rock experience, but nothing could have prepared me for the sheer volume of the bass.

00:44I tried to look cool, but I was pretty sure I was just standing there, wide-eyed, like a deer caught in the headlights of a speeding tour bus.
