00:02 Okay, the Lions surprised everybody on opening night as an underdog winning

00:06 the game outright against the Kansas City Chiefs.

00:08 They are getting about ten days off.

00:10 They're playing the Lions.

00:12 The Lions are playing the Seahawks.

00:13 Excuse me, the Seahawks are getting four and a half, total of 47 and a half.

00:18 Seattle had a dud in week one, Matt.

00:22 And usually I like to back those teams that look so bad in week one,

00:26 cuz they usually bounce back in week two.

00:28 But I don't know, you think that Seattle is up to the challenge here?

00:31 >> Well, this is the perfect storm.

00:32 You had the team that looked unexpectedly good, or

00:35 at the very least pulled off a big upset in week one,

00:37 against a team that looked unexpectedly bad in week one.

00:40 I actually thought the Lions would be, there'd be more points here.

00:44 I was surprised that now it's at four and a half.

00:47 I thought the Lions would be more like closer to six, five and a half to six.

00:52 So I think that Vegas is pricing all this in,

00:56 kind of what we're referring to here.

00:59 But I think you're right.

01:00 I think Seattle's a better team than they showed last week.

01:03 And I think they're gonna play much better this week.

01:06 And the Lions look, at home, it's gonna be crazy there.

01:08 The Lions fans are so starved for a good team.

01:11 They're gonna have the ski masks on going crazy.

01:14 So all of that, just narrative wise,

01:16 leads one to believe all lines are gonna come out flying, they're gonna kill them.

01:19 It usually doesn't work like that in the NFL, though.

01:21 We saw this game last year in week four.

01:23 It was an absolute track meet, just a shootout that the Seahawks won narrowly,

01:28 went well above the total.

01:30 I think this year's game, though, there's gonna be a little more defense.

01:33 It's gonna be a little bit slowed down.

01:34 I think four and a half's a big number.

01:36 So I like the Seahawks with the points.

01:37 I still would probably take the Lions to win this game.

01:39 But I see this more as a field goal game.

01:41 And just a lot, it'll calm things down.

01:45 Week two is overreaction week.

01:47 And I think we tend to see things even out a little bit from week to week in

01:51 the NFL early on.
