00:00We're looking at some buy low and sell high candidates. The theme of today's show has been

00:04value. So Joey P, let's get right to it. Give me a buy low candidate, but you got to sell me on the

00:10why. All right. I'm going to sell you on a guy last year that had a pretty spectacular season,

00:1721 home runs, 34 steals at 285, Jaron Duran. Now, Jaron Duran this year just has six home runs and

00:2344 RBI, and he does have 15 stolen bases on the year. So he's still kind of on pace

00:29for that. But let's be honest, the last 30 games for Jaron Duran have not been great. He's hitting

00:33222 over that span with a 300 on base percentage. That's not good. Now, in recent at-bats, things

00:40have started to pick up a little bit for him, but I think this is a unique opportunity to buy on a guy

00:43where this was a player with a second or third round draft capital. And on principle, I'm just

00:49buying those guys because we're so far removed from that draft, but I don't think we're so far

00:53removed from the player having value. And chances are somebody who drafted him has been struggled

00:58because they spent that draft capital on Jaron Duran, and he hasn't delivered what you were

01:03hoping him to deliver. He could also be a trade candidate. We'll see if he ends up somewhere else.

01:07But regardless, I think Duran is a player worth investing in because I think he's better than

01:11what he's shown this year, even if he's not as good as what he showed us last year. I think

01:15there's some in between that's an improvement down the stretch.
