Who doesn’t love Dhaba’s sev-tamatar sabji is a recipe for Dhaba style sev tamoto sabji. Please try it out and share your experience in the comment box below.
Some Tips & Tricks :
Always add sev just before serving as the sev crunch should be maintained in the sabji.
You can add any type of sev you want in this curry...for e.g. thin sev,thick sev,ratlami sev,gathiya,spicy sev...etc....etc...
Keep curry little thin as sev absorbs water.
Jaggery can be skipped or adjust to your taste.
3 TBS oil((तेल)
1/2 tsn mustard seeds(राइ)
1/2 tsn Cumin seeds(जीरा)
Pinch of asafetida(चुटकी हींग)
Curry leaves(करि पत्ते)
2 tomatoes crushed(टमाटर की प्यूरी)
1/2 tsn salt(नमक)
1/2 tsn Turmeric(हल्दी)
1/2 tsn red chilly powder(लाल मिर्च पाउडर)
1 1/2 tsn Coriander Cumin powder(धनिया-जीरा पाउडर) 1 tsn kashmiri red chilly powder
(कश्मीरी रेड चिल्ली पाउडर)
1/2 inch Ginger grated (१/२ इंच अदरक घिसी हुई)
2 Green Chilly slitted(हरी मिर्च)
4 tomatoes roughly chopped(टमाटर)
1 1/4 cup (or upto desired consistency)water(पानी)
1/4 tsn Garam masala(गरम मसाला)
1 tsn Jaggery(गुड़)
Coriander leaves(धनिया पत्ते)
Sev(add sev just before serving)
सेव(सर्वे करने के तुरंत पहले ही सेव डालें
