00:00Previously on Project Runway...
00:03Designers, we're sending you to Washington Square Park to find your client, Model Muse.
00:09Would you be interested in me making you an outfit?
00:12Okay.
00:13Yeah, that would be awesome.
00:14That'd be so cool.
00:17This is one of the most hideous garments I have ever seen.
00:20It's butt ugly.
00:22I don't know what I'm gonna do.
00:25What happened?
00:26My model was putting on her garment and unzip the zipper all the way off.
00:30Designers, does anyone have an objection to having Sharkita finish putting the zipper into her garment?
00:37And that's what we will do.
00:39I think we're all a little bit annoyed.
00:41You know, Tim Gunn saved her once. Does he really need to save her again?
00:50Karina, you are the winner of this challenge.
00:53Awesome.
00:54It really feels like a tap dance costume.
00:57It seems to be more clothes and less fashion.
01:00Ooh.
01:01Alexander, you had two days, $200.
01:04What happened here?
01:05Sharkita, you're in.
01:07Alexander, that means you're out.
01:09You're out.
01:29Hey, guys.
01:31Shark.
01:33So, I wake up to a Samsung tablet and I'm wondering what the heck could this be?
01:40Let's see.
01:42Press play.
01:44Good morning, designers.
01:45Well, I hope you're ready for your next challenge because you'll need to unlock your creativity and open the doors to your imagination, which is the key to success in this next challenge.
01:54Meet Tim at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, where he'll fill you in on all of the details, and I'm going to see you back on the runway.
02:03Bye, everybody.
02:05Oh, it's going to be cool.
02:06I have two wins now.
02:09Working your way to Fashion Week is just kind of a dream come true.
02:11Making a collection, having everybody see it.
02:14You know, this is what we came here to do.
02:20Brooklyn Navy Yards.
02:22The closer we get, we start smelling fish.
02:27Suspense.
02:29We walk into this large warehouse and we see Tim with five storage bins.
02:35What's going on?
02:36Good morning, designers.
02:37Good morning.
02:38These units contain the materials that you're going to use for this challenge.
02:42Okay.
02:43Okay.
02:44And you're going to be working in teams, specifically teams of two.
02:49Amanda, your teammate will be Keeney.
02:53That's awesome.
02:55Emily, your teammate will be Karina.
02:58Oh, nice.
02:59I'm actually pretty stoked that I got Emily.
03:01I really like her aesthetic.
03:03I'm confident that we'll be fine.
03:05Sean, you can stand next to your teammate, Sharquita.
03:08I love Shar's personality.
03:10She has great design ideas and she has a freshness about her design.
03:14The only problem is she can't sew.
03:17As well as the rest of us.
03:19Designers, this is an auction.
03:22Each team has $500 and bidding paddles.
03:26Sean and Sharquita, you are the green team.
03:29Keeney and Amanda, you are blue.
03:31Karina and Emily, you're purple.
03:32There are five storage units.
03:35We're going to auction off one storage unit at a time to the team with the highest bid.
03:41There are five storage units and there are three teams.
03:44So one team at least will end up with more than one storage unit.
03:50You will have two days for this challenge.
03:52Oh, cool.
03:53Each team is responsible for two looks.
03:56The two looks must be cohesive.
03:58All right, let the auction begin.
04:00I'm ready to bid and see what's in these storage bins.
04:03So I'm excited.
04:05Oh, wow.
04:07There are a thousand couches in front of us.
04:10And I think, oh, it's like, like a real storage unit.
04:14All right, designers, I'm beginning the auction at $25.
04:18$25.
04:19We'll put $25.
04:20$30.
04:21Going once.
04:22Going twice.
04:24Sold.
04:25Purpose team.
04:26You get this for $25?
04:27You get this for $25.
04:28We should have extra whatever.
04:32Oh.
04:33You made a good joke.
04:34Yeah.
04:35I see in the very back this psychedelic Yeti painting.
04:40This is my sign that this is our storage unit.
04:43I'm going to start the bidding at $25.
04:46$30?
04:47$150.
04:48We'll go $175.
04:49$195.
04:50$195.
04:51$195.
04:52Going once.
04:53Going twice.
04:54Sold to the blue team.
05:01Oh.
05:02There's nothing in there.
05:04I am beginning the bidding at $25.
05:06$50.
05:07$55.
05:08$55.
05:09$60.
05:10$65.
05:11Going once.
05:13Going twice.
05:15Sold to the green team for $65.
05:18$65.
05:19We got a blanket for $65.
05:21All right.
05:22Oh.
05:23Yeah, we can do a lot of stuff with this.
05:26I'm beginning the bidding at $25.
05:28$30.
05:29We'll go with $300.
05:31We'll go with $300.
05:32Wow.
05:33$305.
05:34I'm disarmed.
05:35$310.
05:36$310.
05:37$310 once.
05:38$310 twice.
05:39Sold to the purple team for $305.
05:41$305.
05:42Oh, no.
05:43$305.
05:44I am starting the bidding at $25.
05:46$310.
05:47$310.
05:48$310.
05:49$310.
05:50We know we can't win it because Char and Sean have the most money.
05:54$325.
05:55$325.
05:56$325.
05:57Sold to the green team for $325.
05:58All right.
05:59All right, design teams.
06:00You will have 30 minutes to bring back to this point anything that you want to take back
06:11to the workroom.
06:12Go.
06:13Oh.
06:14Can you lift that?
06:15Okay.
06:16Oh.
06:17Jackpot.
06:18Look at this.
06:19Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
06:21Design teams, time is up.
06:23And whatever's in your piles in your pile.
06:26So follow me.
06:27Creepy doll.
06:28Is everyone excited?
06:29Yes.
06:30Yes.
06:31All right, just a few words about this challenge.
06:32This needs to be placed in a fashion arena, not a costume arena.
06:47You have until 1130 tonight.
06:49And I have a nice surprise.
06:51Phillip B. will provide the winner of this challenge with hair care and styling products
06:58for a year of runway shows.
07:01Oh.
07:02So work hard, everyone.
07:04Bye.
07:05See you tomorrow.
07:06Love you guys.
07:07I'm thinking maybe dress and then a jacket.
07:10I decide to do a bomber jacket.
07:12Sean decides to do a blue trench.
07:14We definitely want to keep it sleek and wearable.
07:16But you can split it also.
07:17You can split it down the middle.
07:19Otherwise, she is a hunchback.
07:20We don't have a lot of fabric.
07:24So I'm going to make some super high-waisted wide leg pants out of tablecloth.
07:29I would like to retain the integrity of the psychedelic yeti.
07:33He's got to be there.
07:34Working with this and that is the second look.
07:37Okay.
07:38We're going to make a soccer ball skirt, little bra top, throw a jacket over it as well.
07:43It's Keeney.
07:44He can make a bunch of stuff.
07:45We have to cut up the whole chair then.
07:47Yeah.
07:48We want to do a winter look.
07:50So I'm going to create a cape coat.
07:53And we just need to keep a close eye on our styling to make it cohesive.
07:57Since you're doing a big jacket already, then I'll do a shorter one.
08:02I'd come down a little bit further this way.
08:04Yeah.
08:05Char seems to continuously need help in her construction.
08:10I mean, I'm more than willing to talk to her and explain to her like how to do it because
08:15she's on my team and at the end of the day, it's a team challenge.
08:18But it's a bit overwhelming and it's getting a little bit stressful.
08:21Just do a really tiny section on the side and attach this so that they're together.
08:25Char I love, but I really don't think her talent and her experience is as high as the rest of us in the competition.
08:33And I hate to say this, she's been eliminated.
08:36She's dead weight at this point.
08:38If you don't know how to do everything, then you shouldn't be here.
08:41How's your sleeve coming along?
08:42It's okay?
08:43Pretty good.
08:44If you need any help with that, just let me know.
08:46I feel really bad for Shawn and she might just drag them to the bottom.
08:57Our challenge is to design two looks from found objects in storage units.
09:03We have two days for this challenge, so expectations are high.
09:08Team winner starts now.
09:12Working with Emily has actually gone really smoothly.
09:15We just kind of stay quiet and then communicate every once in a while.
09:18Hey guys, time's up.
09:21At the end of the first day, Char still has quite a lot to do on her jacket, so I feel like I'm going to be kind of ahead of her.
09:28But then I can go back and help her if I need to. I'm fine with that.
09:31You guys have to do a still training.
09:40Chang Chang.
09:41Chang Chang.
09:42The jacket looks really cool.
09:44Thanks.
09:45What is yours?
09:46Tim said fashion.
09:47Fashion, fashion, fashion.
09:48But this is fashion, fashion.
09:49I love it.
09:50Yeah.
09:51We are the only ones really working with bright colors.
09:53We'll be noticed.
09:54Keeni and I can't lose.
09:56It's too early for critiques, so why is Tim here already?
10:06I have a little twist.
10:07I have a little twist.
10:08Okay.
10:09Each team will be creating a third look.
10:12Okay.
10:13We definitely don't have enough time for a third look.
10:17This look, of course, must be cohesive as well, so your collection will be enhanced.
10:23However, it needs to be made primarily of fabric and not your storage materials.
10:28So, we are going shopping at Mood.
10:31For the purpose of cohesion, some of your storage unit materials can be brought into that third look.
10:38Both team members do not have to go to Mood.
10:42All right?
10:43Fifteen minutes.
10:45We just need like a funky short dress.
10:47Color?
10:48Yeah.
10:49I really need to tweak this.
10:50You know what I'm saying?
10:51I'm the one who's going to have to go back because it's just beneficial for her to have more time to finish her garment.
10:56Whatever you think is cool, just go for it.
10:59All right, designers.
11:00Who's coming with me?
11:01Me.
11:02Okay.
11:03Okay.
11:04To Mood.
11:06Off you go.
11:10Oh, it's perfect.
11:11Can I get some of this?
11:13Mm-hmm.
11:14I find one sweater knit that's really colorful and it matches the colors in our collection,
11:19but I just don't feel right about it.
11:22For some reason, I keep thinking, I don't love it.
11:26God, I think I want this instead.
11:29Is that okay?
11:30Yeah, that's kind of driving me crazy.
11:32I decide to just switch.
11:33There's no time to think.
11:35We only have time to get it and get out.
11:39Thanks.
11:40Thank you, Mood.
11:42You're back.
11:45I got two different blows.
11:46This is the sweater knit.
11:48I just wanted to find the super, super strong fabric and we found it.
11:51Yeah.
12:02How are our teams?
12:04Getting there.
12:05Yeah?
12:06Good.
12:07I can't wait to see what you're doing.
12:08Karina, Emily.
12:09Hi.
12:10Talk to me.
12:11We kind of wanted to take a fall winter approach.
12:13Okay.
12:14This is the look that I'm creating.
12:16It's just a cape coat.
12:17This top is potentially so good that they're going to ask you why you've covered it up.
12:22Well, hopefully we're on the top and that could make us win.
12:26Yeah, great.
12:27So this is actually a cushion.
12:28The fact that I know that without even telling me concerns me.
12:32Yeah.
12:33We wanted to bring in the color elements and then just do a different take on a winter,
12:37more casual inside look.
12:39It's not dull.
12:40That's good.
12:41And it doesn't look like a joke.
12:42Okay, good.
12:43Good.
12:45Thanks, Jim.
12:46Thanks.
12:47Shawn, Sharquita.
12:48Hey.
12:49Go ahead.
12:50This look is kind of a long bomber jacket, but it's made from this quilted moving blanket.
12:55So it's actually just a synthetic.
12:56It's really thin.
12:57It's really remarkable.
12:58I took the baseball pants and used the stripes.
13:01Why didn't you use the baseball pant trim for the collar?
13:05Because he has it.
13:06So we wanted to break it up a little bit.
13:08So what's happening with mood?
13:09This is going to be a jersey stripe with the mesh and then it goes down further.
13:15I took the turtleneck razor back.
13:17I shifted the panel at the back into blue.
13:20Okay.
13:21Carry on.
13:22Amanda, Keeney.
13:23Hi, Tim.
13:24I feel like everybody else got a lot of fabric.
13:25Yeah.
13:26We did not.
13:27So we pulled the inspiration actually from that painting.
13:30The black and white colors, the Yeti on it.
13:32I'm making the deduction that the piece in the middle is the third look.
13:36There's going to be like a pretty straightforward faux fur coat.
13:41Of this.
13:44We're mixing it with white denim and the fur.
13:46Where's it going?
13:47With the fur.
13:48We're going to make stripes going across.
13:50Wow.
13:51This is a lot of look, guys.
13:53It's a lot.
13:55One of the looks, we took apart balls.
14:00We made it into almost like a honeycomb skirt.
14:03We made the bomber out of the fur.
14:05We quilted it.
14:06This is actually from a throw pillow.
14:08I think she looks like a teenage hooker.
14:15Oh, boy.
14:16I just don't want you all to be labeled as coming from the amateur hour.
14:21There are only six of you in here.
14:23Someone in this room is going home and you don't want it to be either of you.
14:26Amanda and I decide to just move into a complete different total direction.
14:31Using the fabric we bought at Mood, we're making pants out of that and just a crop top.
14:37The soccer ball skirt, we're actually turning it into a strapless dress.
14:42And then that tablecloth being impossible to work with.
14:46I figure what if we put no seams in it at all and just create a giant skirt.
14:57Kimi comes back in with the skirt and it is exactly how I envisioned it.
15:03Look at that.
15:04I think it's absolutely incredible.
15:07I like how you're giving me face during that walk.
15:21The one outfit we have done is so fun.
15:24And these girls do not look like teenage hookers, so we're safe.
15:28So what I'm about to do is run and add this piece.
15:31Because we've got to do it while you're here, okay?
15:33So I will be back in like two seconds.
15:36Finally, Shah gets to fit her model.
15:38So I'm hoping that within the next few hours she's going to be able to complete her looks.
15:44I mean, there shouldn't be that much sewing to be done.
15:47Bye!
15:48See you tomorrow.
15:49Bye!
15:50How's a mankini doing?
15:54Uh, better.
15:56How's Karimily doing?
16:01Very well, thank you.
16:03What's that going to be?
16:05It's the bottom of this dress.
16:07Oh, cool.
16:08And there's like a mesh, so it like hangs.
16:11Oh, it's neat.
16:12Sean and Shar's collection, to me, it's kind of boring compared to everyone else's.
16:18So I don't know how the judges are going to see them.
16:21Now I'm going to hem the sweater and then done.
16:25Yay!
16:26Emily and I are really confident.
16:28At this point in the competition, you realize how much closer you are to Fashion Week and how much you want it.
16:34I definitely see myself going to Fashion Week, you know?
16:37It's been a dream my whole life and I don't think I'll ever stop wanting that.
16:41All right, guys.
16:42It's time to go.
16:43Let's get out of here.
16:44Good morning, designers.
16:45Morning, Tim.
16:46Good morning.
16:47All right.
16:48You will have an hour to send your models to the Philip V Hair Studio and the Mary Kay Color Design Studio.
17:06Use the Aldo styling wall very, very, very carefully.
17:11All right?
17:12Work hard.
17:13I know you will.
17:14Okay.
17:18Hey, how are you?
17:20You guys are ready to rock out?
17:21Yeah.
17:28We want to keep the makeup fresh, but we want to do like a strong lip.
17:32The little highlight that's called Beach Blonde and it's a bare face and that strong lip.
17:38Sun-kissed complexion and like a red lip.
17:41Use this red lip.
17:42It's a little bit different.
17:43It's called Firecracker.
17:44Okay.
17:45Gorgeous and it's a little bright.
17:47Some kind of like an angular cat eye.
17:50I think we just do a really gorgeous eyeliner, kind of a future-y kind of way.
17:55Yeah.
17:56Like center part, but like loose in the front, so like have her bang kind of hanging down.
18:05Okay.
18:06And then maybe like a loose fishtail braid in the back.
18:08So the parting on the center and then the texture on the face.
18:12Mm-hmm.
18:13Okay.
18:14She's going to be super sleek, ponytail kind of in the middle.
18:17Can we add extensions and just give her a super...
18:20Long, long.
18:21Yeah.
18:22So comfy.
18:23Mm-hmm.
18:24I feel good?
18:25Yeah.
18:26I feel like the soccer ball dress isn't enough.
18:29So I throw on the fur bomber and I think it goes with it.
18:35I think she looks funky, trendy.
18:37I like it.
18:38Oh my gosh.
18:40Designers and models, we're going down to the runway.
18:45Follow me everyone.
18:47That's it.
18:50Coming up on Project Runway.
18:54Just looked like a walk of shame.
18:56It looks shoddy.
18:57That is the kiss of death.
18:59One of you will be out.
19:01But not yet.
19:02Nothing can prepare you for Heidi having a twist.
19:05Hello designers and welcome to the runway.
19:18The final six.
19:20As you know in fashion one day you're in and the next day you're out.
19:24There's six of you here and after tonight there will be five.
19:27You are so close to the end.
19:30For this challenge you worked in teams of two.
19:34Each pair was to create two cohesive looks.
19:37But then we put a little twist on things.
19:39You had to create a third cohesive look using mostly fabric.
19:43Alright, let's say hello to our judges.
19:45First we have acclaimed fashion designer Zach Posen.
19:48Hi designers.
19:49Hi Zach.
19:50Creative director for Marie Clara magazine Nina Garcia.
19:54Hi everyone.
19:55Hi Nina.
19:56And fashion designer and judge on the new Lifetime show Threads Christian Siriano.
20:01Hello.
20:02Hey.
20:03Welcome.
20:04Hi Christian.
20:05Hello.
20:06Love you.
20:07And we also have Tim Gunn here for the runway show.
20:09And as you know he is your mentor and he will not be judging your looks.
20:12We have an anonymous runway show which means we the judges do not know which designer created
20:17which look.
20:18Alright, let's start the show.
20:27I think she looks super bold without looking like she's trying too hard.
20:38Ah, that looks good.
20:39Good, right?
20:42Thank God it doesn't scream teenage Booker anymore.
20:52It screams artists going to a party.
20:56She likes to dress different and she likes to stand out.
21:00It's so much better as a dress.
21:01Yeah.
21:02So much better.
21:03Yeah.
21:04Yeah.
21:05Yeah.
21:06Yeah.
21:07Yeah.
21:08Yeah.
21:09Yeah.
21:10Total glamour but in a funky way.
21:13This is a totally different silhouette and it's amazing.
21:16We nailed it.
21:20From each look it just transitions into like something more cool and more funky.
21:26I'm very happy with how this jacket's turned out.
21:39It doesn't look like a blanket.
21:40I think she looks really cool and it gives the whole collection this real sporty vibe.
21:44She's trying to be graceful but the mesh, you know, at the bottom of her leg and, you know, the form fittingness of the skirt, it's kind of hard for her to walk.
22:05She has to walk very slowly but I think that the effect of it is so cool.
22:25It's like evening sportswear.
22:27If anything, it gets people talking.
22:28I'm happy with it.
22:29It's a really strong color palette, really clean.
22:34I'm hoping the judges can look past the lash head and see the conceptual idea of it.
22:39Hopefully, the judges will appreciate our editing.
22:42We didn't have to go overboard to use unconventional pieces and still make a statement.
22:47She can use her legs.
22:51That's good.
22:52I love the sweater.
22:53I love it.
22:54I love it.
22:55I love it.
22:56It's good.
22:57I love the sweater.
22:58I love the knit.
22:59I love the colors.
23:00I would wear this walking down the street.
23:13I love my look, especially the vest.
23:15It looks really pretty.
23:17I feel like it definitely has cohesion.
23:19I love the way the cape moves.
23:36Everything fits perfectly and she just looks really polished and really cool.
23:40I like the way that everything came together.
23:49We were really lucky with the units that we got.
23:51I think we really did a great job this time.
23:55Kimmy Amanda.
23:56Julie De 50.
23:57We're going to talk to you first.
23:58Tell us about your look.
23:59I did the skirt and the middle look and Amanda did the end look and the top of this.
24:15I really like this.
24:17is outstanding here is your football soccer dress it's really smart I want to
24:23see the back of it it's fabulous bravo fabulous I think it's really sensational
24:28in my eyes you're probably the most creative group here today and I love
24:32this evening dress I love that beautiful skirt and that was a painting yeah yeah
24:37so it's really expensive painting thank you Keeney thank you Amanda thank you
24:45models you can leave the runway Shawn Chiquita tell us about your looks your
24:50materials and who did what one of our containers only contained a moving
24:56blanket and the other one had quite a lot of like hunting and fishing inspired
24:59things we wanted to do sleek sportswear and I did the blanket jacket I also did
25:06the lampshade dress and Chiquita so you did the middle look yes definitely
25:12cohesion here the middle outfit for me I felt like it's a girl who'd been
25:16partying all night it didn't feel as sophisticated as the other two looks
25:21looked like a walk of shame it's hoochie I mean that girl knows how to twerk
25:25for sure she's twerking her way home I do think your quilted coat is really
25:32beautiful but all of these cutout mesh dresses they're in every retailer on the
25:37planet it's kind of a bit done I can't believe you can't walk you cannot walk
25:41just makes a clickety-clack work it I would have left it down let it quack
25:46clack clack I could care less about this transparency and sick of seeing it
25:51however there is a level of cohesion that I appreciate thank you thank you
25:57thank you Shawn thank you Shakita you can leave the runway tell us about your
26:02looks we were inspired to create her through some loose textiles and an
26:07armchair this complete look is mine and the middle complete look is Emily's and
26:12then Emily did this sweater on our third look and I did the pants does that cape
26:17come off wow what an improvement there is nothing contemporary here they just
26:23look so dated between the red lipstick and the hat you didn't need that awful cape I
26:29I didn't mind it as much as Nina I quite liked it actually I feel like you guys had a clear concept
26:35this group was more innovative and then Shakita and Shawn to be honest yeah there's more soul here yeah
26:41it's wearable Karina I have seen you do the Southwestern theme this is your fourth time
26:49mm-hmm where you always go back to that I don't hate it I like using that so if you were the losing
26:57team who would have to go home clearly the the things that I did you guys dislike but I love
27:04it so to go home for something that I'm proud of would feel really awful so who on this runway do you
27:11think should go home today I don't think either of us deserve to go home no we put a lot of work in
27:16and every piece is wearable which is extremely important to me as a designer I would never wear a
27:21dress I couldn't walk in you know I mean if we're gonna compare it I have to say or two dresses I
27:29couldn't walk in actually thank you Karina thank you Emily thank you models you can use the runway okay
27:37we've heard what you had to say now we're going to take a closer look at the designs have a little
27:43chat and then I call you back onto the runway the winner of Project Runway will receive $100,000

28:33Mary Claire magazine it is a price package worth over $300,000 who should we start with team
28:40Emily and Karina yeah ladies I love this this is so great silly me I thought you're going to cite
28:50Spongebob Squarepants we're gonna scare you this was bought at mood with the intention of having it look
29:01as though it came out of the storage unit from afar it looked like chenille it did to me too it's not
29:06who made the jacket that whole look is Karina's doesn't really fit that well out of this group Emily
29:13is definitely the winner and Karina is the one that I'm not so sure about I'm wild wild about that
29:22jacket the pocket bags are in mesh that's a nice detail I like the sporty ribbing on it I appreciate
29:29that they stood their ground in terms of their aesthetic I'd rather that than I don't even know
29:36what a decade I'm in I can't take this clothes seriously where is this at least I know you know
29:42where you are because you've seen these dresses a hundred times though yep but I've seen those for
29:47longer the only problem here is really Sharky does look it's hoochie and it's boring let's talk about
29:57the top three I love the DIY quality of this it's really cool I mean that's pretty incredible when
30:03this walk down the runway I did think there was a fur coat grandma's fur coat but they made this from
30:09scratch between the soccer dress and the fur bomber I love it I love this top I think this top is so
30:18nice and then the rest of the painting is here when you break it all down it's kind of fabulous material
30:24wise this is definitely to me the most inventive they definitely took the most risk all right we have a
30:33big decision to make I mean we know who's the winning team today and that's Keeney and Amanda
30:37that's for sure but now we have to decide who's going home today and I have a really hard time
30:42because I don't think Karina did a very good job today and Sharquita the same Karina did a lot of
30:48pieces and they were so-so and Sharquita spent two days on one look that we didn't like she couldn't
30:54walk in Karina picked that mood fabric which I know you hate and I think that that is kind of the
30:58end all be off I have an idea designers today was very difficult because there were things that
31:09we liked and things that we did not like in all of your collections Amanda and Keeney you are our
31:17favorite team and Keeney you are the winner of this challenge thank you thank you I couldn't have done it
31:29without Amanda that soccer ball dress though that's it's all his you both in you can eat the runway thank
31:35you I won this challenge because I made an awesome cocktail dress it's a soccer ball dress who wouldn't
31:41love that Emily you're in you can use the runway thank you Sean you're in you can eat the runway thank
32:00you
32:05Karina Sharkita one of you will be out but not yet you have one hour to create a new look okay create a look that
32:22would convince us that you deserve to stay here and it could be any look of your choosing it doesn't have
32:27anything to do with this last challenge we just need to see your best design the fabrics for this challenge will be in
32:35the work room they're the ones that you had and all the fabrics that are left over from previous challenges now you do get a
32:41helper you can go to the designer lounge and get your partner from this last challenge
32:46okay do you have any questions no good luck go go go you have one hour make it work
32:54what's going on we have one hour to make a new look oh my gosh so will you help me yeah out of any of
33:01these things are you kidding what do you want shot stretching it once we're given an hour my wheels
33:07immediately start turning so I know that I want to make something form-fitted stretching it because
33:12it's really easy to work with and it definitely represents me as a designer okay I want to do like a super
33:19ultra-modern maybe just a simple dress and I'll pipe it around the edges with the green because
33:25of Nina's comment about the folksy Southwest print I definitely want to do something graphic and modern
33:31I'm making a 16-piece pattern dress which is kind of crazy in this moment but I don't really have any
33:40other options because I want something fitted so I need at least start patterning like a madwoman this is
33:46psychotic I know I look up and I see a blue dress going on their dress form and I'm still
33:54patterning my look so I'm kind of wondering how they got that done so fast who makes something
34:00interesting in an hour Corina Sharquita you have 30 minutes yeah okay so come on
34:07this is such I'm a so much of a better designer I can't believe I'm doing this right now she's
34:16already been eliminated for like Karina Sharquita five minutes we're actually walking out to the
34:26runway thank you whatever come what may I know I'm the better designer it doesn't matter cute I love
34:35the front how I told you I'm a fashion designer at heart that's what I do I think I deserve to be here
34:42so okay how many minutes yeah that's no that's it time's up everyone okay let's see what you guys have
34:52done I'm super nervous and I definitely hate this dress compared to the collection that I made that I
35:02should have been judged on there's the same that goes challenges make champions I'm really proud of
35:24myself I have to say I'm impressed you did it in an hour so kudos to that thank you Shakita tell us
35:49about your look I wanted to do something girly and flirty that represented me as a designer I have to
35:54say I'm very impressed with this look I love it I mean I almost wish this was in the first collection
35:59that you did there was so much life to this dress amazing thank you Karina tell us about your look I
36:04wanted to do something graphic and bold I mean it is impressive what you did in one hour especially you
36:10did the piping and all of that but it could have not done it in a different color but with an easier
36:15fabric because I feel like it wasn't really an easier fabric I mean there were like teddy bears there
36:20weren't good options you seem very upset yeah I'm sorry it's ambitious I think you've done really
36:32well for an hour thanks okay we've heard what you had to say we're gonna have a quick chat and then I
36:39call you back onto the runway thank you it was very good that we did this because this kind of showed
36:51me again who makes smart choices Shakira was smart she picked great easy fabric jersey made a beautiful
36:58easy dress boom your presentation needs to look good right Karina couldn't deliver that initially and she
37:08couldn't deliver it the second time around all right we made our decision yes yeah yeah okay
37:16sharkita Karina one of you will be in and one of you will be out
37:27sharkita Karina I know that this was very hard for you guys
37:37but it was very hard for us too you're both very very talented but as you know in fashion
37:45one day you're in and the next day you're out
37:48sharkita you're in thank you you can leave the runway
38:06
38:18stepessions Skyy Karina Karina you're super talented but I'm sorry you're out
38:20I think I'm just like in complete shock the last thing I expected today was to make a dress against
38:36somebody that I don't have respect for as a designer and then lose against them it's a horrible feeling
38:43funny right who called that one anybody anybody think I was going home today
39:04you were out you were eliminated okay and Tim brought me back are you mad yeah okay here we
39:11are five challenges later and I'm still here I still have the right to be upset okay don't

39:56I love that's all that was difficult to say the least yeah and congratulations the result was cool calm
