00:00and welcome back and today we're going to talk about an item that will really make you look
00:15good all around the home or even on the commercial site this is what's called a redefiner a bed
00:21redefiner you know that job in the spring where you have to get your trimmer out and go along your
00:26sidewalks and your driveways and get the overgrown grass and make a nice clean edge well around the
00:32garden beds that's also the job where you go or have to go around usually with a shovel and dig
00:37down dig into the grass kind of throw it back into your bed to get that nice clean look all around
00:42your garden beds this machine will do it very simply and very quickly this blade that's on this
00:49machine as you see is angled straight and on an angle the straight edge is what gives you that
00:55clean cut into the grass or into the garden bed edge and the angle will throw that into your
01:00garden bed so that the material will leave a nice clean cut manicured edge around your garden beds
01:08the idea behind the unit is that it's very simple other videos of course show our starting of the
01:14engine once you have the engine started you'll tip it back you'll pull back on this lever which will
01:20engage the blade turning and against the belts and then you will slowly go down into the bed edge
01:28this edge is going to be on the grass and that edge and the blade is going to cut right around in
01:34this area a nice straight clean edge into your bed and you go backwards with it pulling it very slowly
01:41and as this blade turns it's throwing the material or the dirt down into your bed this side being your bed
01:48this side being where it is on is being your grass and you'll slowly pull it around and you can even
01:54make a bit of an angle a very gentle one of course and go all the way around your beds making a nice
02:00clean cut now things you don't want to do is do this when it's muddy after rain or do it when it's very
02:08wet and muddy the the blade will bog down it'll not give you a clean cut it'll just throw and fill the
02:16cover underneath with mud conversely as well when you have to be careful when you get into the late
02:22summers and the ground's very hard you go down very slowly and very easily don't try to rush this
02:28the patience they will give you a nice clean cut and you won't have a lot of mess around to deal with
02:35and it goes uh extremely quickly so that's about it uh enjoy and don't forget to subscribe
