00:00Go, me ring.
00:065-second border's turn.
00:08Who will it be that gets a good jump?
00:11Looking good over on the right-hand side,
00:13but from the middle, just as he did yesterday,
00:15Koldunov sweeps through,
00:17and it's Koldunov with a foxhole shot.
00:19Koonan alongside him.
00:20Guadagnini on the 101 is next
00:22as Fernandes goes fishing to the outside.
00:26But the Hoff lead in the way, immediately.
00:31Koonan looking to make a move early on, though.
00:34Has to hit the brakes as they tighten up for turn 4.
00:39Oh, Panser, turn 2, on the inside, in the swamp.
00:46Koldunov for the third time with that foxhole shot this year.
00:57Out of turn 7, uphill.
01:00Koldunov leads.
01:02Lucas Koonan is second.
01:03Bonacorsi in third.
01:05Guadagnini was there, but Fernandes has found his way past.
01:10Into that fourth place.
01:12Bogers in sixth.
01:14Bogers in sixth.
01:16Siwa, Vellander, and Fevre in ninth, with a lot of work to do.
01:20Especially when you consider his main rival, the youngster, the teenager, 96th.
01:24Lucas Koonan right here in second position.
01:27He will get that information as he goes past pit lane on this opening lap.
01:30Which means there will be no real sense to panic, if you like.
01:41Looks to make a move at the inside, nicely on the back end.
01:43As he wheelers into that penultimate corner, takes over the lead from Glenn Koldunov.
01:47What a move that was from the number 96.
01:49He just picked up the front end, over the braking bumps, let the back end do the work.
01:58That is a Sand Riding Master at work.
02:00For Hof second, Bonner third, Vantix two and three.
02:06Fernandes for Honda HRC in fourth place.
02:09Guadagnini there in fifth for Aruba.it Ducati.
02:13Fernandes likes that inside line there, doesn't he?
02:21Fevre's still down in ninth behind Jeremy Siwa.
02:30So as Lucas Koonan leads the way and starts to build a lead over Koldunov.
02:35Romain Fevre a little bit further back in eighth place.
02:38He's found his way past Jeremy Siwa.
02:40But he can't afford to hang around and already at the moment he's nine seconds down on the race leader, Lucas Koonan.
02:48And we are on the official opening lap, if you like.
02:52So a lot of work to do.
02:55Efficient through the uphill waves.
02:57That focus ahead of him in seventh place.
03:00And just ahead of them.
03:04In the bottom.
03:05For Lander in fifth, Guadagnini at sixth on the 101.
03:10Got no time to be patient.
03:13But at the same time he has to be because he's got to grow with the track.
03:16It will be one of those circuits that bites you if you're not careful.
03:22Koldunov getting closer to Guadagnini.
03:26That'll hold up the charge from the Dutchman ever so slightly.
03:29Who goes too deep and that allows Fevre to get alongside him.
03:35And Fevre moves past Bogers.
03:39And moves into seventh place.
03:40Bogers coming back for more though.
03:42In the final turn.
03:43And retakes Fevre.
03:45And retakes Fevre.
03:49Who has to dive down the inside here.
03:52Great battle between Fevre and Bogers.
03:54Oh, he gets tagged as well on the way through.
03:59Runs off track.
04:02Fevre coming back for more.
04:05He'll be frustrated at Bogers.
04:07But there will be nothing for Bogers to worry about in that situation.
04:18The last time we saw these two going at it like this was Latvia.
04:21Where Fevre came off worst there as well.
04:26Finds his way past early though.
04:29Remember, turned four or five, wasn't it, in Latvia?
04:31Where Bogers made a crucial move.
04:33Fevre couldn't get his way back by.
04:34Then when he did try, he just tipped over in the slow left-hander.
04:37Had all that work to do again.
04:39Bogers had the last lap then.
04:40But it's Fevre now who's on the charge.
04:42Going after Guadagnini.
04:43Top of the hill.
04:43He'll find his way past the Italian.
04:45And he does move up into sixth place.
04:49Quick pull of the tear-offs there.
04:51Needs vision.
05:01Lucas Kunin.
05:03There, look.
05:03Just picking his front wheel up over those dark braking bumps.
05:07Where there's a bit of a spring running across the track there.
05:09Water just bubbling underneath.
05:12Making its way to the surface.
05:16Kunin Immaculate.
05:17139.984.
05:19Fastest lap.
05:23Koldenov.
05:24Last time around was a 1.45.
05:26It's a 1.44.
05:27What a lap that has been for Lucas Kunin.
05:291.39.9.
05:30Just think about that for a second.
05:32Koldenov.
05:331.44.6.
05:35Monokorsi.
05:361.44.62.
05:381.45.
05:39For Fernandes and Volanerun.
05:4047 for Fevra.
05:43Little bit of leg swag there.
05:48And this is what you just pick up the front end.
05:50Over on the left-hand side.
05:51At the end of the opening lap.
05:52Koldenov outside.
05:53Left the door open.
05:54Kunin came barging through.
05:55Knocked it off its hinges.
05:57Whilst on the back wheel.
05:58Almost in trouble there though.
06:06Maybe riding a little over himself at the moment.
06:08When you look at that lap time.
06:11Five seconds quicker than anybody else.
06:12Last time around.
06:13He just needs to keep his head in check here.
06:15Lucas Kunin.
06:17It's not a case of win it or bin it.
06:18Not when you're so close in the championship.
06:2227 points behind.
06:24And your main rival is in seventh.
06:26And you're leading.
06:28Just look at that.
06:29Hanging off the back.
06:30Just settle down.
06:31That's what the team will tell him.
06:32Surprised Mikkel.
06:42Has any fingernails left.
06:44After that.
06:45Down there in pit lane.
06:52But Kunin.
06:53Ten seconds clear already.
06:55Of Koldenov.
06:56Top of the hill.
06:57Koldenov.
06:57Bonacorsi there.
06:58Then Fernandez.
06:59That second, third and fourth.
07:00All in the same shot.
07:00Then we've got Volandran in fifth.
07:03Guadagnini sixth.
07:04Fevre at seven.
07:04The man is second behind Guadagnini.
07:06So Guadagnini.
07:06So Guadagnini found his way back past, doesn't he?
07:08So what happened there then?
07:09Because Fevre found his way past Bogers and Guadagnini.
07:12So where did Fevre disappear off track?
07:19Anyway, Lisa Leyland getting ready to talk to Louis Vosters down there in pit lane.
07:23Koldenov is currently second.
07:24Bonacorsi is in third.
07:26Bogers in eighth.
07:27All three riders in the top ten.
07:30Louie, a fantastic two-three for you at the moment.
07:41Glenn got another whole shot as well.
07:43So far, those boys are looking good.
07:45Yeah, so far so good.
07:46But they're still early in the race.
07:49Yeah, last week we changed the settings for Bonacorsi and it fits him really well.
07:54So also in the training last week he was really, really fast.
07:58So I'm happy that he's now in third position.
08:00And also Brian as well.
08:01He's got some fire in his belly.
08:03Nice little battle there with Fevre.
08:04That was good to see from him.
08:05Yeah, it was nice to see.
08:07And like I said, Brian is still struggling with his health.
08:10But okay, he will try to finish the race.
08:12But at the moment, second and third, I'm really happy.
08:15Let's see what happens.
08:16Thank you, Louis.
08:16Okay, thank you.
08:1822 minutes plus two laps to go then.
08:20Lucas Kunin 10.3 seconds clear of Koldanov.
08:23And yeah, he has reigned in the lap times.
08:25Look, 1.44.07 his lap on lap three.
08:28Koldanov, 1.45.3.8 for Bonacorsi and 1.9 for Ruben Fernandez.
08:34So just a little bit too overexuberant to try and break the field early on.
08:39Well, he already did that.
08:40He's 11.6 seconds clear.
08:42But at what cost?
08:43Because when you're already six seconds, five seconds a lap quicker than anybody else,
08:48and you just absolutely obliterate the pack by doing that,
08:52you keep doing that, you run the risk of something happening.
08:56And it almost did.
09:00So this was Fevre on Bogus.
09:03And then he went after Guadagnini.
09:05That got him up into six.
09:06And then he lost six momentarily.
09:09So now he's got his head down.
09:14And I think he has been down as well, hasn't he, Roman Fevre?
09:17He must have done because he got himself up there,
09:20found his way past Bogus, and Guadagnini to move into six.
09:23Guadagnini passed him back.
09:24He's just found his way back past, so.
09:28I'm not sure what happened there.
09:30Anyway, head down.
09:35Cornering like he's on rails at the moment.
09:39Hanging on the clutch as he gets out of that turn.
09:45The right-hander turn five before stepping up.
09:48See how choppy this racetrack is.
09:50Remember, no.
09:51Jeffrey Hurling's here this weekend.
09:53A collarbone injury a week after Matzli Basin.
09:55How good would he have been around here?
09:58What about Tim Geiser?
10:01What about Maxime Renault?
10:02Three big players missing this weekend.
10:12Kawasaki racing teams.
10:14Roman Fevre, though, in six.
10:15He's about 2.6 seconds down on Calvin Vallana and the Monster Energy Yamaha rider.
10:21Vallana was quick yesterday in the qualifying race to come home in second.
10:25He was quick in the time practice session as well.
10:30But you see the rider in red and white and black.
10:33Representing 70 years of Yamaha, their birthday year.
10:38Taking the colors back to 98 when the YZ400F came into emergence.
10:43There's a production bike.
10:54Right, Fevre.
10:55His best lap of the race so far at 1.45.001.
10:59One and a half seconds quicker than Vallana and ahead of him,
11:02who is still 2.2 seconds clear of the Frenchman.
11:08Guadagnini and Albi Ferrato, though.
11:11Ferrato looking to muscle his way down the inside.
11:13No love lost between the two Italians.
11:17That'll be Ferrato.
11:21Muscle in his way up into ninth place.
11:33Good to see the Honda Motor Blues SR.
11:36Motor rider back on some kind of form.
11:40Team-mate Horgmo behind him in 12th place.
11:45Watson 13th.
11:46Steri on the Chapers Racing KTM is in 14th.
11:49Then we've got Iago Geert who had a crash this morning into the final turn.
11:52Landed awkwardly on his shoulder.
11:54Had to get it seen to, but nothing too damaged that he can't race today.
11:59He's circulating, probably in a bit of pain, in 15th place.
12:02Jeremy Siwa, Aruba dot IT Ducati behind his team-mate Guadagnini.
12:13These two, 10th and 11th at the moment.
12:17Vallana has been caught by Fevre.
12:18The Frenchman going to work this lap.
12:22It's very, very busy trying to whittle down that lap time.
12:26And whittle down that gap as Panser rejoins at the back.
12:29Gap between these two.
12:41As you can see, nothing in it.
12:42Just a few bitelinks as they fight over 5th position.
12:47But the real winner in this situation at the moment is Lucas Coonan.
12:52Because he's sitting on 25 points at the moment.
12:54Fevre sitting in 6, which is only 15, so that gap now coming down another 10 points.
13:01So it's going to be 17 going into race 2, if it were to stay like this.
13:06But as you can see, top of your screen on the left-hand side, 17 minutes plus 2 laps still remain.
13:13Fevre can't afford to hang around.
13:16And if he clears Vallana, and he's still got 4 seconds to make up to Ruben Fernandez,
13:20that's how much he's having to dig in.
13:21But Fevre's lap time last time around, 144.4.
13:26Fernandez was at 45.9.
13:2845.8 for Vallandran.
13:36Very easy on those braking bumps.
13:39High speed straight coming into nothing.
13:40There's that step down again.
13:41Occasionally, if you get it right, you can make a little bit of time.
13:45Heavy landing, though.
13:46There is a higher line to the left that you can use to take off,
13:52but just getting there is the problem.
13:54You have to take too much time at the top to make it happen,
13:57so what you lose, you don't exactly gain back.
13:58These two know each other very well.
14:05Of course, both riding the Dutch Championship and various Dutch international races during the season as well.
14:10Fevre charging down the inside.
14:13Calvin Vallandran knows he's got a fight on here.
14:15Hanging on to fifth at the moment is the number 10.
14:26Fevre looking to get around the outside.
14:28He's going to outbrake him.
14:29Going into turn two.
14:30That's the idea anyway.
14:32And he does.
14:33Vallandran on the wrong side on the exit of the turn.
14:35He responds immediately, though, and fights his way back past Fevre.
14:39Takes control of that fifth position once more.
14:41So, again, a frustrated Frenchman, Roman Fevre.
14:46Just as he was with Brian Bogers briefly earlier on in the race.
14:54Both riders keeping it clean, though.
14:58Ah, gets on the fat part of the tyre.
15:00Fevre now up into that fifth place.
15:05Still a response there, though, from Vallandran, but Fevre making the pass stick.
15:11Definitely didn't need this, did he?
15:26From off the ground in the qualifying race on the opening lap to fight his way to sixth.
15:32Similar kind of race so far in race one.
15:35Yeah, watch this here.
15:39You go long.
15:41Vallandran, they're just heavy in the deep sand, but door left open here.
15:47Thought he could lean across, but two and two one didn't go.
15:51But Vallandran was able to get out of there early and find his way back past immediately.
15:54Immediately.
15:57But only lasted another three or four quarters, though, before Fevre came through.
16:01And took over that fifth place once and for all.
16:04Eight laps complete.
16:13Lucas Coonan leads by almost 17 seconds over the two fan ticks of Glenn Koldenov and Bonokorsi.
16:18Bonokorsi five seconds behind his teammate.
16:20Fernandes about another five seconds further back in fourth.
16:23Fevre now up into fifth.
16:26Four seconds down on Ruben Fernandes.
16:28Here is Ruben Fernandes.
16:33Andre Charcy.
16:38If he looks across at any moment, he'll see a flash of green somewhere in his peripheral.
16:55Uphill waves.
16:56Not the easiest part of the racetrack.
16:59We saw Liam Evans fall there in the MX2 qualifying race.
17:02We saw Lucas Coonan almost off the back there on lap two of this race.
17:12Fernandes looking for a smooth run out of that turn eight, top of the hill, down the left-hand side where nobody's going.
17:21Taxing around this racetrack.
17:22Physically demanding racetrack here at the Kermy Ring.
17:25Is Fevre gaining on Fernandes?
17:37That's the question.
17:40Volandrum's actually found his way back past Fevre.
17:42So Volandrum back in the fifth.
17:46Fevre lost ten seconds in sector two.
17:50So Fevre's been off and he's down in sixth place.
17:55So where was that?
18:02So somewhere between Liqui Molly and the Monster Energy step down,
18:06Roman Fevre has been off track or on his deck, on the deck.
18:09Because Volandrum back into fifth.
18:13And Fevre now, as they go through at the end of lap seven, is now seven seconds down.
18:19On the Yamaha man.
18:20So a topsy-turvy race for the Frenchman.
18:28Twelve minutes plus two laps to go.
18:30So somewhere from the previous left, in and around here, up through the uphill waves and into the next left.
18:37It's where Roman Fevre went missing a lap a go.
18:41Just wondering whether our moon cam got it.
18:45Did he go down in the waves here, for instance?
18:48Did he get a bit squirly?
18:49But he lost him almost ten seconds.
18:52Whatever it was.
18:53Either way, Fernandes off the hook for now.
19:01Eight points, 7.8 seconds clear of Calvin Volandrum now, who goes back into fifth.
19:14Here is Fevre, again, having to fight and ride over himself.
19:19Knows he can't afford to be in this position.
19:21Every point counts.
19:28Lisa Leyland is getting ready to talk to Antti Piranen, team manager for Kawasaki Racing Team.
19:35Tough quality race yesterday when he got caught with Koldenov.
19:38Breathe is the message as Fevre goes past pit lane.
19:43An even tougher race, it seems, at the moment.
19:47Every time he takes two steps forward, it's three steps back.
19:49Just making things harder than they need to be.
19:53And it all starts with a poor start on the opening lap.
19:56Anyway, let's go down to Lisa.
20:04She's with Antti Piranen, down in pit lane.
20:07Let's see what he has to say.
20:11Antti Piranen.
20:12Roman Fevre is really not having a good time of it this weekend, does he?
20:16Yeah, it's a tough motor for sure.
20:19Bad start and then he had a crash.
20:21So, not an easy one.
20:23But let's see, maybe he can regroup still to top five.
20:26You said he had a crash.
20:28We didn't actually see what happened.
20:29But he dropped down to sixth.
20:30What actually happened?
20:31Did you have any news through the radio?
20:32It was on the back corner, I couldn't see it either.
20:35But yeah, he didn't lose so much time, but lander and pass him back.
20:39So yeah, tough motor.
20:40Okay, will he be able to bounce back?
20:42That's the important thing.
20:43Yeah, let's hope.
20:44Okay, best luck to the team.
20:45Thanks, Antti.
20:46So maybe in this top corner here is where he fell.
20:55Take a look at the start, though.
20:56Glenn Koldenoff for the third time this year.
20:58A foxhole shot.
20:59Here's how he did it.
21:02Swept in from the middle of the gate.
21:05Across Jeremy Siwa.
21:06Over the foxhole shot line.
21:08Jan Pantzer, though, went swimming or fishing.
21:10Either way, he got parked there, didn't he?
21:13Kuna Diversion second place.
21:16Fever getting squeezed to the inside again.
21:20Look, just as he did yesterday in the qualifying race.
21:25Then you put yourself in that kind of position.
21:28Always on a hiding to nothing.
21:30Yes, you can pick your way around, but Römer Fever not able to do that on this occasion.
21:35Glenn Koldenoff, though.
21:38Still there in second position.
21:43Ah, Jan Pantzer.
21:46Having a race he would rather forget.
21:48Here in Finland, race one.
21:51Had an issue at the start.
21:53Went wide at turn one.
21:54Ended up in the swamp at turn two.
21:56Rejoined the race.
21:57Went back into pit lane.
21:58Came back out a few laps ago.
22:00But now pushing his bike to the side of the track.
22:02Hopefully he can make it to race two.
22:08Lucas Koonan.
22:11Nearly 19 seconds clear.
22:13Just making it look very effortless at the moment.
22:15The Red Bull KTM rider.
22:23Again, we'll gain ten points on Römer Fever in this race alone.
22:28We'll be down to 17 as we go into race two.
22:37Fever, though, 1.8 seconds behind Vellaner.
22:39And so he's found something again.
22:4348.9 and a 46.6 the lap times for Vellaner and Fever.
22:47So the intent, the intent is there from the Frenchman to go back after Calvin Vellaner
22:55to get that fifth place, that top five, which would give him an extra point.
23:02So the gap would be out to 18 points.
23:06You can't afford to give Fever, sorry, Koonan, this kind of space.
23:13It was on our studio show yesterday here on site.
23:17Römer Fever talked about Lucas Koonan.
23:21He said, yeah, for sure he's strong and he's got nothing to lose.
23:24He's got no fear of crashing or anything.
23:25He's the new kid in the class.
23:28Of course, he was that person ten years ago at Römer Fever
23:30when he won his world title in MXGP in 2015.
23:36So he knows exactly what he's dealing with in that respect,
23:39but you just don't know what his strengths are, his weak points.
23:43Shows up in the qualifying race, wins after a difficult free practice and time practice.
23:48Leading here in race one on lap 13 and making it look very, very easy.
23:53He's got a great team of people around him in Dekali.
23:59And at Red Bull KTM, of course, they know how to set up a motorcycle.
24:04They know how to get one tuned.
24:08Deja vu for Römer Fever.
24:09Back on to the rear wheel of Calvin Verlander.
24:12As once again, he fights the Yamaha man for fifth position.
24:17This time with six minutes plus two laps to go.
24:19Bumps are gnarly at the top end here into this left turn.
24:29Again, tries to get some distance off that step down.
24:34There is an outside line there.
24:35And look at the braking bumps as you cut through to the inside
24:38and how tight it is as you cut back to the inside.
24:56Right.
24:57Will he go back up the inside?
24:58Pick his front wheel up over these braking bumps.
25:00Will he hit some full on?
25:01But dives down the inside.
25:04Still can't find his way past.
25:06He'll try to launch it around the outside here,
25:08but changes his mind last minute.
25:11Cuts back to the inside.
25:1213 laps in the books.
25:13Nothing in it between these two.
25:15As we saw a few laps ago.
25:18Fever has since had an off track or a down since then.
25:22But this time, look at that.
25:24Muscles his way down the inside of Wollandran.
25:27Learned from his previous mistake,
25:29but just as he did last time around,
25:30Wollandran responds and finds his way back past the Frenchman.
25:34Déjà vu.
25:35Frustrated Frenchman all over again.
25:36Same part of the racetrack.
25:38Same rider.
25:38Same result.
25:42Thought he had him covered until he didn't.
25:44Vollandran being a stubborn, tough nut to crack.
26:04Back to the drawing board for the number three.
26:08Eight rounds out.
26:10Every point crucial.
26:11Especially when you're sitting there in sixth place
26:14and your main rival
26:15sitting there with that added bonus.
26:19The difference between first and second
26:20gives 25 to 22.
26:22That three-point gain
26:23at the top.
26:26In the greatest game of things,
26:28the difference between first and sixth.
26:31Ten points.
26:41Still three and a half minutes plus two laps to go here.
26:51Time is your friend
26:52in that instance when you're a Roman favorite.
26:55But at the same time,
27:03Kevin Wollandran has definitely picked his pace up, hasn't he?
27:05He's dropped the Frenchie for now.
27:06See the sand scales coming in
27:21from these top sand riders.
27:24Just a lot of wheeling over,
27:26braking bumps on the rear wheel.
27:28Let the back end soak everything up,
27:29not the front.
27:30Can't afford any more little mishaps.
27:42Roman Febvre did a great job
27:43of getting the lead back out to 32
27:44after Matilly Basin.
27:46Nice to have that advantage.
27:48coming into a three-week break
27:53before this race.
27:55But Lucas Kunin undoing all that at the moment.
28:06Korgmo is up to 10th.
28:07He's found his way past Jeremy Sea.
28:10Watson in 12th,
28:11about another two seconds further back.
28:15Guadagnini is 13th.
28:16Adam Sterry on his chambers racing.
28:17KTM is in 14th place.
28:20Sterry 22nd in the championship
28:22coming into this weekend.
28:32Roman Febvre losing contact
28:34with Kevin Wollandran now.
28:38I just wonder whether
28:39that's just the towel being thrown in
28:42with a couple of laps to go,
28:44saving himself for race two.
28:46and that push from Wollandran
28:48has brought him onto the rear wheel
28:50of Ruben Fernandez.
28:51So all of a sudden,
28:52Volandran iron at four
28:54as Febvre fades into fifth
28:57in the background.
28:59Big question is,
28:59can he regroup?
29:02Well, the gap as he came over the line
29:03was three seconds.
29:04So that's an even bigger ask.
29:06But you can see him right there,
29:07flashing in the background.
29:09Doesn't look like he's given up just yet.
29:13He'll be relying on
29:14Fernandez holding out Wollandran,
29:17which will bring Febvre into play.
29:19And if he can get a
29:20two-foot,
29:24then he'll take it with both hands.
29:25Of course he will.
29:26A mistake there from Fernandez.
29:31And that allows Wollandran through.
29:34Wollandran up in the fourth.
29:37And that's all it took.
29:38Roman Febvre.
29:48Almost out the front door there.
29:49Caught one of those braking bumps.
29:51His feet off the pegs.
29:53A lucky moment for the Frenchman as well.
29:55Just as he finds himself
29:56on the rear wheel of Fernandez,
29:57who looks like
29:58he's just starting to fade here.
29:59Watch this.
30:00Roman Febvre hits that braking bump there.
30:05Wonder if that's where he fell
30:06earlier on in the race.
30:07Or just after that.
30:11Just found his way
30:12past Vellanran, hadn't he then?
30:15Four, six position.
30:25Right, Fernandez needs to regroup
30:27if he can.
30:37Three laps to go.
30:44Kudan, your ex-leader.
30:47Effortless.
30:49In a 25-point pain position
30:50at the minute.
30:51By contrast,
30:53the effort that Roman Febvre
30:54is putting in here.
30:5641, nearly 42 seconds down
30:58on your leader
30:58in 6th position.
31:035th now
31:04as he goes past Fernandez.
31:05Fernandez, I think,
31:18just running out of steam.
31:20He's pushed hard.
31:21There was no resistance there
31:22to keep the Frenchman at bay.
31:23energy levels
31:37depleted
31:38with this kind of work ethic.
31:40but not for this rider
31:41right here,
31:42Lucas Kunin.
31:46Nearly 20 seconds clear
31:47at the head of the field.
31:49A completely different race
31:50in contrast
31:50to his main rival
31:52and championship leader,
31:53Roman Febvre.
31:53Good to see the two Fantic
31:57still there as well.
31:58Koldanov and Bonokorsi
31:59second and third
32:01for Fantic Factory Racing.
32:05They're about to hit the line
32:06any moment now.
32:07In fact, Koldanov
32:07goes through now.
32:10Bonokorsi will be
32:115 or 6 seconds behind him.
32:134.6.
32:15So here is the Hoff.
32:18Just takes a sneaky look across
32:20keeping an eye on his
32:21young Italian team mate
32:23nicely lands
32:33and doubles his way
32:34into that corner.
32:35Glenn Koldenoff
32:36had success around here
32:43in the past, hasn't he?
32:53with the Fantic Factory
32:56rider back in 2022
32:59when he won it.
33:01Govinka.
33:01knows what it's like
33:06to win
33:06in Finland.
33:08and feeling good here as well.
33:15Feeling good here as well.
33:22His team mate though,
33:233.7 seconds further back.
33:25Can't afford to switch off.
33:28Whereas Lucas Koonen
33:29entering the final lap
33:33on the Red Bull KTM
33:36being absolutely immaculate.
33:44A dominant display here
33:46in this first MXGP race
33:49for the young Belgian.
33:50He had that one moment
34:02didn't he
34:03when he was just pushing
34:03too hard at the start
34:04of the race perhaps
34:05when his gap was already
34:0710 seconds clear
34:08by lap 2
34:08just putting a lap
34:10five seconds quicker
34:11than anybody else.
34:13Whereas off the back
34:14of the bike almost
34:15on that uphill wave section
34:17that we're coming to
34:18in a moment.
34:19But other than that
34:20he's been pretty much
34:21inch perfect.
34:24And now able to take
34:25a breather
34:26on this final lap.
34:30Roman Fevre
34:30meanwhile
34:31in fifth place
34:33still by six seconds
34:34down now
34:34on Calvin Millandrin
34:365.6.
34:38So smooth
34:49when you've got time
34:52in your pocket
34:52and you open up the gap
34:53and you control the race
34:54from the front
34:55you're just able
34:57to do your own thing
34:58you're not caught
34:59in everybody else's
35:00battles and shenanigans
35:01and having to ride
35:01over yourself
35:02to make up time
35:03which has really been
35:05the story of Roman
35:06Fevre's race
35:06in race one.
35:08gap will be down
35:17to 18
35:17but Lucas Coonan
35:21immaculate here
35:22in race one
35:23at the Comey ring
35:24he crosses the line
35:26to take the first race
35:28win
35:28for Red Bull KTM
35:30and he made it look
35:33so very easy
35:33second for Glenn Koldenoff
35:36and Fantic Factory Racing
35:37he started there
35:42with a foxhole shot
35:43Coonan was just too good
35:45Koldenoff coming home
35:46second
35:47Andrea Bonacorsi
35:48will be third
35:49what a ride
35:51that's been
35:51for Andrea Bonacorsi
35:52for the second time
35:54this year
35:55third place finish
35:56for the Italian
35:57Kevin Melandre
35:59will be fourth place
36:01but Roman Fevre
36:03he can't afford
36:04to switch off
36:04because
36:05Ruben Fernandes
36:06put it in a charge
36:08in the final
36:08couple of corners
36:09and just catching
36:12the Frenchman
36:12off guard there
36:14Fevre
36:15hanging on to fifth
36:16Fernandes
36:22six
36:22digging deep
36:23can't knock the effort
36:24almost catching
