Transcript
00:00Are these all right here?
00:03Alright, we have Allure and this is our best of Glasgow.
00:06My favourite restaurant in Glasgow is an Italian up near Turncross.
00:14It's called Don Cazzone's Caprese and it's just a wee family run Italian
00:19and I love going there because I feel like you're stepping into their gaff.
00:22It's pure nice and the food's always amazing.
00:24I went to Margo the other week and I'm allergic to everything.
00:27Made a lot of accommodations for me so shout out to the staff at Margo.
00:30Class.
00:31I think my favourite's got to be Sylvan, Woodlands Road.
00:34Sylvan's class, yeah.
00:35We all went out together last year and it was probably some of the best food I've ever had.
00:38I wonder what my favourite pub is.
00:40I have a few favourite pubs.
00:42The first pub I ever drank in in the town was McCool's and I've been drinking there ever since.
00:47So that has to be number one but also I love going down to the Barras and going to the Heel and Jesse.
00:51I think that's a lovely pub, great on a Sunday afternoon.
00:54I just love pubs.
00:55Anywhere with decent gins and a good pint.
00:57McCool's.
00:59You're the coffee man.
01:00I'm well trained on this.
01:02Definitely Zenner.
01:02Zenner, Daily.
01:04Daily.
01:05Yeah, yeah.
01:05Dentist in coffee shops.
01:06Yeah.
01:07Yeah.
01:07Run Supreme.
01:08That's it.
01:08Baralands?
01:09Aye.
01:10Yeah, I like Baralands.
01:11I'm always excited going there.
01:12Yeah, it's hard to be.
01:13It's just got this energy with it.
01:15I can't really like describe it.
01:16Yeah, I don't think you're ever going to Baralands and not going to see one of maybe your favourite bands.
01:21Can't bottle it, it's incredible.
01:22My favourite venue that I've ever been to actually.
01:24I think my favourite, I've always stared at it, it's the pipe centre, the pipe factory.
01:29Yeah, that's cool.
01:30On Bain Street.
01:31I used to work in St Luke's and I'd always stare out into that building.
01:34And there was always two girls sat on the balcony just basking in the sun.
01:39And I was just hoping one day that would be me.
01:42I'd love that building so much.
01:43There's some really cool history to that building as well actually.
01:45Yeah, I mean they were in and they found all the great pipes and they were shutting it down.
01:48It's pretty cool.
01:49Finding them all.
01:49It was class.
01:50We found our music video on there as well.
01:51We did?
01:52Would you agree?
01:53I would have to agree.
01:55I honestly can't think of any other buildings.
01:57Maybe Selick Park?
02:00For me it's anywhere in the East End.
02:02Like if you're going through the Gallagate, Trongate, through and through the Barras.
02:06I was brought up in Bailstone.
02:08I love being in and around the East End of Glasgow.
02:11For me it just holds such a special place in my heart.
02:13And you know it always makes me think of going in with my parents, my grandparents.
02:18And it's the best.
02:19It's anywhere in the East End for me.
02:20The Era.
02:22Good lads.
02:23The Era.
02:24Sinclair.
02:25Sinclair.
02:26Dan.
02:26Dan.
02:26Yeah, Wee Dan.
02:27He's a great producer.
02:28He's spelt D4N.
02:30Yeah.
02:30Gaia.
02:31Amazing Snakeheads.
02:32Yeah, Amazing Snakeheads.
02:33Glas Vegas.
02:34Primal Scream.
02:35Yeah, Glasgow hero.
02:37Billy Conley for me.
02:39But I feel like everyone's going to say Billy Conley aren't they?
02:42Did I pick me a Glasgow one?
02:43James McAvoy's a bit of a legend.
02:44I feel like we just came off tour with Primal Scream and we got to meet Bobby Gillespie
02:48and actually got to chat a fair bit to him.
02:50I think he solidified himself from the icon status in my eyes of how sound he was
02:55and how much he really made time for us, which you don't always get when you're on tour with big bands.
