00:00TRANSMIT!
00:02Hello, we're at Transmit.
00:04The weather is... gorgeous.
00:06We're going to be asking people some questions.
00:08Who are you most looking forward to seeing this weekend?
00:10Scrapped or 50 Cent?
00:12100%? 50 Cent, probably.
00:1450 Cent or Jamie Webster.
00:16We are here with Jamie Webster at Transmit 2025.
00:18If you'd like to introduce yourself.
00:20Hello, I'm Jamie Webster at Transmit 2025.
00:22Slantshot. Slantshot.
00:27How does it feel to be here?
00:29It's always great to be in Glasgow.
00:31It's always great to play at this festival.
00:33It's my third time, now my hat-trick.
00:35It just gets better every time.
00:37The people of Glasgow just remind me of the people of Liverpool.
00:39So I always feel at home here.
00:41Just really lucky to have had that experience on the main stage.
00:45I was buzzing.
00:47Who was your favourite act?
00:49Brogill.
00:51They're the only act.
00:53Thoughts?
00:55It's okay.
00:57What's the best gig you've ever been to?
00:59Paul McCartney, Glastonbury Pyramid Stage.
01:01Best gig I've ever been to is...
01:05Again, probably Tina Park, Kasabian.
01:07I was on my way to David Guetta and I saw Kasabian and I hadn't listened to him before.
01:11And I just went, I'm going to stay here and watch Kasabian.
01:13And it was probably the best gig I've been to, aye.
01:15But probably Tina Park.
01:17Kings of Leon at Murrayfield.
01:19Kings of Leon at Murrayfield.
01:21What music is on your playlist right now?
01:23I like to do a lot of running.
01:25So I've got a running playlist that consists of literally all sorts, Sam Fenders and people like that.
01:31You've got a bit of the Beatles, you've got a bit of Kanye West's first album, you've got a bit of Jay-Z on there.
01:37I've got a bit of Glen Campbell.
01:39I've got a bit of everything on there.
01:41It's whatever.
01:42I like to build it so that I have an upbeat one and a nice slow one, you know, to get me breath back if I'm doing a long run.
01:47Who's your favourite Scottish band or act?
01:50Dylan John Thomas.
01:51Lewis Capaldi.
01:52Probably Lewis Capaldi.
01:53I thought you were going to see the Proclaimers there, right?
01:57I've seen the Proclaimers a couple of times by the way.
02:00I've got a bit of Supergrass on there lately as well.
02:02And even a bit of Kings of Tomorrow as well.
02:05Who's the best act you've ever seen at Transmit?
02:07Gerry Sidman, last year, Saturday night.
02:10Amazing.
02:11Obviously a local boy as well, so it's good to see somebody local doing well and headlining the Saturday night at Transmit.
02:16Probably Transmit 2022, Lewis Capaldi and Sagal and everything.
02:21Probably 50 Cent.
02:23Who's the most exciting act on this year's Transmit line-up?
02:27I think it went really cool but it's 50 Cent for me.
02:31It's just the 11-year-old me is just absolutely buzzing at the fact that he's on the same stage as me for Warren
02:37that I'm going to get to see some of these clubs.
02:40I'm thinking of his song in the club.
02:42Some of these songs live that have, again, been a big part of my childhood.
02:46Yeah, it's got to be him. 50.
02:50I jumped down here and have a pint.
02:52It's not the worst and, you know, it's a festival pint but it's not a bad festival pint.
02:56So we'll catch you later on. Cheers.
03:00Cheers.
