00:00Beyond Monet, the immersive experience has been seen by thousands of people at venues
00:05across North America and now following in Beyond Van Gogh's footsteps is being premiered here in
00:11Liverpool. This will actually be the European premiere. It's only been seen in North America
00:16so that is due in part to the incredible reception we had last year from the exhibition centre
00:22Liverpool and just the people of Liverpool. They really embraced the experience coming down to the
00:28Albert docks it was just incredible to see people that were kind of from all walks of life so we
00:33knew when we were planning to come to the UK that Liverpool had to be the place for it. On display
00:39at Exhibition Centre Liverpool until Friday 15th of August both Monet and Van Gogh's works are being
00:44staged on alternate days throughout its run. We do a lot of surveys of people that come to
00:50come to experience it and you have people from all different kind of walks of life that have
00:56different experiences you have people leaving crying you have people saying you know they've
00:59had the happiest moments we got a few engagements because people feel so inspired kind of once
01:03they're into the immersive room so yeah really the focal point is the 10 000 square foot immersive
01:08room where you feel like you're walking inside each of the artist's paintings and we've really
01:13carefully gone in to recreate their brush strokes. In the immersive impressionist extravaganza cutting edge
01:20technology breathes new life into more than 400 of the legendary french painters artworks taking visitors
01:28on an audio visual journey through his captivating and colourful world. It's really an overwhelming feeling
01:35it's kind of and mixed within the the soundtrack as well it does it gives you this 360 feeling where
01:40you feel like you're taken back into the 1800s in France and you know you feel like you're kind of
01:45watching these artists create in real time and then it kind of allows people to have their own emotions
01:51towards it. This exhibition brings together some of the artists most famous canvases including poppies
01:58impression sunrise and his exquisite water lily series with lesser-known works which all swirl around
02:05the space offering a fresh new look at much-loved masterpieces and a deeper connection with Monet,
02:11his subjects and his innovative technique. Taking inspiration from Musée de l'Orendry in Paris,
02:18the designated home of Monet's work, visitors can freely roam the infinity room where they're transported
02:23inside the paintings themselves to the accompaniment of an original school. A programme of other
02:28complementary activities are also taking place within the immersive experiences. We had yoga sessions last
02:35year where you could come and experience the exhibit you know before it opened and do yoga in the
02:40immersive room which were so popular so we're coming back and we're doing yoga we're doing pilates we're
02:46also doing breath work and we're also doing paint and sip nights. New for 2025 visitors will leave the main
