Seven Liverpool museums and galleries close as lengthy strike begins

National Museums Liverpool galleries and museums will be closed for an extended period due to strike action. Almost 200 Public and Commercial Services Union members have walked over a pay dispute regarding a cost-of-living payment. The organisation say the payment is "simply unaffordable."
