Ahead of their TRNSMT debut, we ask Indoor Foxes for their Best of Glasgow.
Transcript
00:00Hi, I'm Indra Foxes. I'm an artist from Glasgow.
00:05My favourite restaurant in Glasgow, I think it has to be Sylvan.
00:10Like they do this tomatoes in like a yoghurt sauce with chilli oil.
00:15Oh my god, I'm obsessed with it.
00:18And just every single dish they do is good. All their wines are great.
00:21Yeah, I love Sylvan.
00:23Oh my god, my favourite pub in Glasgow. That's actually really hard.
00:26Where would I go if I was going to bring someone to Glasgow and say let's go to the pub?
00:30I have a weird soft spot for cafeteria, which technically is a cafe,
00:34but like they have a licence and they serve wine and beer and stuff.
00:38Like it's right next to Queen Street Station. I don't know why, I just really like it.
00:41Like I keep wanting to go there. I think because it has the cafe vibe, but also serves booze.
00:47Well, my favourite cafe, probably not cafeteria, weirdly.
00:51Where would my favourite cafe be? Oh my god.
00:53My favourite cafe is Laboratorio Espresso on, I think it's on Hope Street?
00:58It's teeny tiny, teeny tiny, but like their coffee is so good.
01:02So yeah, Laboratorio I'm going to say.
01:04My favourite venue is the O2 Academy.
01:06I just, I really like the different elevations of standing and stuff.
01:10It kind of looks on the outside like the club that Adriana has in The Sopranos
01:14and like that has reignited my love for it because I just think it's cool. Anyway.
01:18Favourite building in Glasgow, I used to live in like Roman House.
01:23It's just flats on Bath Street, but it looks like an old bank and I absolutely love that building.
01:28So I think that's my favourite building in Glasgow.
01:30Other than myself. Me.
01:32Right now, I have been going to see this bag called Limpin quite a lot and I'm really into it.
01:38It's like Midwest Emo, they haven't released anything, but like I've seen them play a couple of times
01:42and I just think it's really cool. It's like proper loser emo like Midwest-y stuff.
01:49So yeah, I really, I'm really getting down with it at the moment.
01:52One of my favourite neighbourhoods. I really, really like the Gallagate.
01:56I used to live like kind of in the Barrels Market and I just loved living there
02:01and like there's such a nice community and so many cool spots around there.
02:04And it's not super fancy yet. It's not super gentrified, which I really like.
02:10My Glasgow hero. Billy Connolly was the first one that popped in, but then I'm really, you know, whatever, whatever.
02:18My Glasgow hero is going to be John Williams, who is a lecturer at the University of Glasgow.
02:23And he teaches music business, but he's just a legend.
02:28Like he's just super nice and he's from Glasgow and has a really like interesting perspective on the way that music has developed in Glasgow.
02:34So he'll be my Glasgow hero.
02:3650 Cent. I am so excited to see 50 Cent.
02:39I never in my wildest dream thought I would be at a gig like that.
02:42But oh my God, it's going to be so much fun.
02:44I'm really looking forward to seeing Tanner Adol.
02:46I'm really interested to see what her performance is like.
02:49And I listened to one of her songs like a while ago that like went really viral.
02:53It's like, it's kind of a bit of a meme.
02:55I kind of like it in a sort of guilty pleasure way.
02:57So I'm sort of interested to see what her show is like.
03:00Did you get you?
03:01Maybe not really the.
03:02Could you see those songs like that when you show them?
03:03Yeah, you know, it might be like.
