00:00Also across the southeast we do have some showers and storms. One severe thunderstorm warning ongoing.
00:05So not quite as strong or as potent as the storms Jeff was just detailing.
00:09But we will be watching out for some showers and storms across the southeast.
00:12The one severe storm we're watching out for right now is going to be just to the south of I-49.
00:16And you can see right here that this storm is slowly developing.
00:19You can see it kind of pulsed up right there on the northern end which is why it has that severe thunderstorm warning.
00:24We could see some small hail with this particular storm but overall the trend is that these storms will pop up.
00:30They'll produce some heavy downpours of rain, lots of lightning.
00:32But the overall impactful risk that we are going to associate with the storms across the northeast
00:38not necessarily going to be on the table in the forecast for this evening.
00:42So overall as we have throughout the next couple of days looking forward now we'll see an area of low pressure
00:46work its way from the gulf into the Atlantic Ocean and that is going to kick off the threat for tropical development potential.
00:53We've actually increased our overall risk for potential that potential from low to median to now high.
01:00So it looks like we could possibly see our next named storm here homegrown across the southeast coast
01:05as we head throughout the next 24, 48, even 72 hours.
01:08So stay weather aware here as we head into the weekend.
01:11And because of that we will be watching out for some tropical rain and wind impacts across the southeast coast.
01:17We're going to mark this at a medium threat, a medium risk here as we head throughout the weekend.
01:22So once again, pay attention to the forecast, stay weather aware here as we head throughout the 4th of July weekend.
01:27But in addition to the storm threat we're tracking, take a look at this.
01:30It's going to be hot, it's going to be humid.
01:32We're going to see Accu with a real field temperature is climbing as hot as 110 degrees here for some of these areas.
01:37So very hot and not just here across the coastal areas.
01:40Chicago will even feel like the triple digits as we head into the weekend.
01:44In a bit.
01:44So yeah.
01:45It's even a bit.
01:46If you hold the dual risk here or something, you drop the LINK.
01:47You drag the
02:00top of your street, it's gettingぶlem.
02:01So that's a bit.
02:02It's going to be a little bit.
02:04It's going to be a little bit.
