AccuWeather forecasters are keeping an eye on the Atlantic not far off the coast of the Southeast for potential tropical development from July 5-7.
Transcript
00:00Watching out for some tropical downpours here across the state of Florida.
00:03In fact, as we had in the early parts of next week, July 5th, 6th and 7th here across the southeast,
00:08we'll be watching out for a moderate, a level 2 moderate potential there for some tropical development potential,
00:14some homegrown potential as we had in the early parts of next week.
00:18And looking at the overall risk impacts, it's primarily going to be across the southeast.
00:21We'll even see some risk over the weekend here across the Gulf Coast in Florida,
00:25but it's primarily going to be this area here across the southeast and the Florida Atlantic Coast
00:29as we had in the early parts of next week with that overall potential.
00:32And here's the latest on Flossie as we head into Sunday.
00:35Right now, Category 2 hurricane, but it does look like the overall wind intensity will continue to come down here
00:41as we head throughout the next couple of days.
00:42But yeah, we're going to be still watching the Flossie's eye path as we head throughout the weekend.
