Riding with a rear-mounted radar system alerts cyclists of approaching traffic. This increases safety. It also allows cyclists to ride in the road with more freedom.

00:00Trevor, you wrote a story a lot of people are reading about radar, radar systems, radar, what are we going to call it here?
00:08I just call it radar.
00:09So we know people want to be safe, but it kind of, as we were talking about this the other day, you brought up something I'd never thought of.
00:17The initial draw of radar was like, oh, it's this system that's going to help keep cars from hitting me or any bad interaction with the car.
00:25But the real benefit that I found is the freedom that it affords me and the way that I actually go out and ride.
00:32It's like changed the way I interact with the road.
