A lot of misinformation related to the Iran-Israel conflict, which also saw involvement of the US, is circulated on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter). One of the viral claims is that Iran shot down a B-2 stealth bomber when the US military targetted Iranian nuclear sites during its "Operation Midnight Hammer". A photo and a video purportedly showing a downed B-2 bomber aircraft are shared to back this claim. However, there is no credible evidence that Iran shot down a US B-2 stealth bomber. In fact, US President Donald Trump, on June 23, confirmed that all B-2 stealth bomber pilots returned safely after targetting Iran's nuclear infrastructure.
