00:21look there's there's teams that are going to overperform there's teams that are going to

00:24underperform washington has got to get this fixed man like this they have too many good young players

00:31and starting pitchers to be this bad in the standings i don't get this one yeah mostly i don't

00:37think we expect them to be a playoff team we even make a playoff run but we expect them to be better

00:41take that next step forward this year and it uh it looked okay for a while but it's plummeted ever

00:45since here now sam you're now our producer and i were talking before the show how we both cashed

00:50on his uh home run prop which is seven he i think sam had an 18 and a half i had 17 and a half

00:54before the season that's cashed over in mid-june so uh yeah uh good year of james wood there's not

00:59much around him and as you're sort of insinuating there i have to wonder why would you pitch to this

01:05guy why i mean let someone know let nate lowe beat you all right cj abram's having an okay season

01:11there but uh i'm not letting uh james wood beat me but he's fantastic he's sort of a left-handed

01:15hitting aaron judge you make a mistake to him it's going out he doesn't and he doesn't have to hit it

01:20well all right with his strength just gets a little piece of it that ball is flying out here

01:24he can hit it out to any part of the ballpark in washington which is very impressive considering

01:28that ballpark is a pitcher's park now to hit his part with james woods having a great season

01:31let's get to the dodgers they just keep calling up kids through the years they keep producing

01:37another one is andy pa has hit 400 this past week three home runs 10 runs driven and we heard his name

01:42for years and then we saw him a little bit last year and now it seems like he's got a permanent spot

01:48in that lineup george they have so much money to spend i mean this team is buying the lakers now

01:53it's like any young player you kind of got to be looking over your shoulder like who they're gonna

01:57are they gonna bring in trout or something here to replace me but uh yeah i mean it's just a factory

02:02of offensive players and pitchers with the dodgers yeah i think paul has pretty much solidified himself

02:09as you know a starting outfield if i'm a dodge they were patient with him you know waiting for him to come

02:13along he still has some adventures in the outfield he's far from a finished product defensively here

02:19uh he's having fun to watch out there you never know what he's going to do especially a balls over

02:22his head he's like all over the place but uh his office has really come along here and it's a nice

02:27place to be in craig because he doesn't need to be the main guy not even close to the main guy right

02:32freeman otani betts muncie smith uh teoscar hernandez i mean edmund before you even think about uh

02:38positive what he's become but yeah he's turning into a really good player with them and you do

02:43wonder well there's quite remember what was the big rumor for a while you mentioned trout but i don't

02:47think anyone's ever eating that contract but uh it was louis robert right he was going to be that guy

02:51and he's been terrible right not good other than stealing base he's not been very good at all but

02:55he was the guy always mentioned that he could go to the dodgers here i think the white socks wish

02:59that was still true they get a big hole for him i don't know if that's going to happen either here

03:03but uh yeah poz is turning out to be one hell of a player all right so uh maybe the hottest power

03:21missing this because he's doing it in the middle of the night but i mean he's just he came up and it

04:04got a nice fancy first baseman for years to come here especially the next couple years when they're

04:08playing sacramento where we know that ball's gonna fly out there but yeah nick kurtz is playing

04:12fantastic uh if you don't need a first baseman you might need a d8 certainly an ad in all leagues

04:17like they've got a little bit to give time for years to come here shutting them now it's like
