Sunday morning sees light rain fall over much of Scotland and Northern Ireland. In England and Wales it will be much drier, albeit with overcast conditions expected for many places. However, some sunshine will break through the cloud in parts of England, particularly in central areas. - This is the Met Office UK Weather forecast for the morning of 15/06/2025. 00:00Hello there and there good morning to you. After quite a lively first half of
00:05the weekend things are going to be calmer as we head throughout today. An area of
00:09high pressure is trying to build its way in from the south but it is slow
00:13progress at the moment. We still have some weather fronts just pushing into
00:17the far north of Scotland so there will be some light outbreaks of rain for the
00:21Northern Isles first thing and then this next one just moving into the northwest
00:25parts of Northern Ireland as well. It will eventually slip its way into
00:28Northern England and Wales into the afternoon. A few showers could bubble up
00:31across central England before eventually moving into the southeastern regions but
00:35the bulk of England should hold on to some decent sunny spells throughout this
00:39afternoon and in that sunshine it will be feeling pleasantly warm highs of 23 to
00:4324 degrees Celsius or around high teens as your peak temperatures for Northern
00:48Ireland and Scotland. That area of increasingly weak rain will essentially
00:53just become a cloudy feature as it continues to drift its way southwards in
00:57into this evening and the bulk of Northern Ireland, England and Wales will
01:02manage to stay largely dry throughout the night. We do though have another area of
01:06rain just pushing into the northwest of Scotland. This one could turn heavy over
01:10the hills for a time and there will be quite a brisk breeze developing around some
01:13northern coastal areas. A few mist and fog patches developing but temperatures
01:17otherwise holding up around 10 to 13 degrees Celsius so a fairly mild start to
01:22Monday morning. It will though also be a wet start to the new working week for
01:26western Scotland as we see those outbreaks of rain just continuing on and off
01:31throughout the day particularly for the highlands parts of Argyle and Butte. Some
01:34sunshine for Northern Ireland first thing that the cloud could build here
01:37later on in the day but England and Wales should hold on to those sunny spells
01:40right throughout Monday. With a slight shift in wind direction though to more of a
01:45south westerly those temperatures are going to climb up a little bit further
01:48tomorrow. So 26 is the possible high now across half eastern areas of England but
01:5320 degrees Celsius is now likely for parts of Northern Ireland central eastern
01:57areas of Scotland as well where it manages to stay driest. Do be wary though that
02:03with that slight increase in temperature and the sunshine that's great
02:08conditions for grass to be producing pollen and so pollen levels are going to be
02:12quite widely high for many of us on Monday stretching into the very high
02:16category for some southern and southeastern areas. That's something that hay fever
02:20sufferers will need to be wary of as we head throughout the fourth coming week
02:24because as that high pressure builds in more dominantly there's going to be
02:27plenty of sunshine and temperatures could climb even further. But we'll have
02:31plenty more updates on that so do subscribe to the YouTube channel and we'll
02:35see you again here very soon. Bye bye.
