00:02:39Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people, and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David,
00:02:51as he spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets from of old, that we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all who hate us, to perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant.
00:03:06The oath which he swore to our father Abraham, to grant that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before him all the days of our life.
00:03:21And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High, for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways, to give knowledge of salvation to his people, in the forgiveness of their sins, through the tender mercy of our God,
00:03:36when the days shall dawn upon us from on high, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
00:03:46Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
00:03:50Glory be to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.

00:06:27O God, who does gladness by the early feast day of our Lord's resurrection.
00:06:32Deign to grant that we who celebrate these solemnities in time may reach heavenly joys in eternity.
00:06:38We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, thy Son, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, one God, forever and ever.
00:06:48Amen.
00:06:52Well, good morning, everyone, and happy birthday, Church.
00:06:55It is the Solemnity of Pentecost, the birthday of the Holy Church.
00:07:00So we celebrate in a special way today as we look forward to all that we can do for the church, for the salvation of the world.
00:07:13A few brief announcements.
00:07:15Please keep inviting people to meet the Lord with us, to join in worship and in fellowship.
00:07:20What is the Holy Spirit calling you to do?
00:07:25It is a good question for today.
00:07:28Is it a ministry?
00:07:29Is it a charitable endeavor?
00:07:31Is it an active evangelism?
00:07:33Is it prayer?
00:07:35If we trust what he is prompting us to do,
00:07:40we will find that we will be amazed by the wonderful things that happen
00:07:43if we listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit.
00:07:47Please remember, the men's retreat is only 10 days away.
00:07:51If you'd like to go, please let me know so we can get you signed up right away
00:07:55so we can make sure there is enough provision of food and all that for you.
00:08:01So, you know, I can't encourage it enough.
00:08:04I say it all the time, and it really is something special that really shouldn't be missed.
00:08:12Father's Day greetings, there's a forum for publishing Father's Day greetings in God's field on the back table.
00:08:20Please remember, it is the month of sacred vocations.
00:08:24We endeavor in prayer, especially this month, as we do every month,
00:08:29to pray for vocations to the priest and diaconate.
00:08:32That prayer is working.
00:08:35You know, people often say, well, I pray, I pray, I pray, I don't say anything.
00:08:39Well, it's happening.
00:08:40It's actually working.
00:08:41So please continue in your prayer, continue in your generosity toward the Savin' Rola Theological Seminary
00:08:49so we can make a good donation in that regard.
00:08:53There are more Holy Name of Jesus t-shirts available.
00:08:56Please take one for a family, for a friend.
00:08:59Use it as a conversation starter for yourselves and that individual.

00:09:14Please turn out, bring the kids, and we'll have a really nice time, enjoy some really good pizza,
00:09:19and celebrate the time together.
00:09:22A lot going on in the week ahead, our food pantry tomorrow.

00:12:03Father, we call upon you to abide with your people who are assembled here.
00:12:09Cleanse us of our sins and make us aware of the promise of your Son,
00:12:12that where two or three are gathered together in his name,
00:12:16he is with them.
00:12:17Through this Holy Eucharist we celebrate,
00:12:20make us worthy to sit at his table in the kingdom of heaven.
00:12:24We ask this through the same Jesus Christ, our Lord.
00:12:27Amen.
00:12:35To thee we come, O Lord our God.
00:12:41To thee we come, O Lord our God.
00:13:11O Lord our God.
00:13:16How many of us are here?

00:14:37the birthday of the Holy Church, that day in which we remove ourselves from the locked
00:14:43room, that day in which we go out to lead, that day in which we take every opportunity
00:14:49to bring salvation to our world.
00:14:53Today's Holy Mass is offered for all of our parishioners, all of our members, all those
00:14:58who find their home of faith here with us at holy name of Jesus.

00:16:21Mary, all the saints, and my brothers and sisters, to pray to the Lord our God. As an act of penance
00:16:30for our sinfulness, let us ask the Holy Spirit in those traditional words, come Holy Spirit
00:16:38in kindled hearts of thy faithful with the fire of thy love, this evening before we go
00:16:43to bed, that the Holy Spirit may enter into us to move us to action in our ministry. May
00:16:51Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life. May our
00:16:57Lord Jesus Christ absolve me with his authority vested in me, I absolve you from all your sins. In the name
00:17:03of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
00:17:06For the Spirit of the Lord fills the world, is all-embracing, and knows what man says. Alleluia!
00:17:28Therefore, no one who utters wicked things can go unnoticed, nor will chastising condemnation
00:17:36pass him by. Alleluia! Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.

00:20:03As you descended upon the disciples in the upper room,
00:20:07so now once again descend on your church,
00:20:12inflame our hearts,
00:20:13enlighten our minds,
00:20:15and purify our souls.
00:20:18For together with the Father and the Son,
00:20:21you live and reign,
00:20:23one God,
00:20:24forever and ever.
00:20:28Amen.
00:20:35Let us now be seated.
00:20:36And attentive to the Lord's Word.
00:20:38Amen.
00:20:39Our first reading is from the Acts of the Apostles.
00:21:07When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together, and suddenly
00:21:14there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house
00:21:21in which they were.
00:21:23Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each
00:21:29one of them.
00:21:30And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in different tongues, and
00:21:36as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim.
00:21:40Now there were devout Jews from every nation under heaven staying in Jerusalem.
00:21:45At this sound they gathered in a large crowd, but they were confused, because each one heard
00:21:53them speaking in his own language.
00:21:55They were astounded, and in amazement they asked, Are not all these people who are speaking
00:22:02Galileans?
00:22:04Then how does each of us hear them in his native language?
00:22:08We are Parthians, Medes, and Elamites, inhabitants of Mesopotamia, Judea, and Cappadocia, Pontus
00:22:19and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the districts of Libya near Cyrene, as well as
00:22:28travelers from Rome, both Jews and converts to Judaism, Cretans and Arabs, yet we hear them
00:22:36speaking in our own tongues of the mighty acts of God.
00:22:40The word of the Lord.
00:22:42Thanks be to God.
00:22:44Our response this morning, Lord, send out your spirit and renew the face of the earth.
00:22:51Lord, send out your spirit and renew the face of the earth.
00:22:56Bless the Lord, O my soul.
00:22:59O Lord, my God, you are great indeed.
00:23:02How manifold are your works, O Lord.
00:23:05The earth is full of your creatures.
00:23:09Lord, send out your spirit and renew the face of the earth.
00:23:14If you take away their breath, they perish and return to their dust.
00:23:20When you send forth your spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the earth.
00:23:26Lord, send out your spirit and renew the face of the earth.
00:23:32May the glory of the Lord endure forever.
00:23:36May the Lord be glad in his works.
00:23:39Pleasing to him be my theme.
00:23:42I will be glad in the Lord.
00:23:45Lord, send out your spirit and renew the face of the earth.
00:23:50Our second reading is from the first letter of St. Paul to the Corinthians.
00:23:58Brothers and sisters, no one can say Jesus is Lord except the Holy Spirit.
00:24:06There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same spirit.
00:24:12There are different forms of service, but the same Lord.
00:24:15There are different workings, but the same God who produces all of them in everyone.
00:24:23To each individual, the manifestation of the spirit is given for some benefit.
00:24:29As the body is one, though it has many parts.
00:24:34And all the parts of the body, though many, are one body.
00:24:39So also Christ.
00:24:40For in one spirit we are all baptized into one body,
00:24:46whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free persons,
00:24:50and we were all given to drink of the one spirit.
00:24:55This is the word of the Lord.
00:24:57Thanks be to God.
00:25:10Please remain seated for the sequence.
00:25:17Come, Holy Spirit, come.
00:25:20And from your celestial home shed a ray of light divine.
00:25:25Come, Father of the poor.
00:25:28Come, source of all our store.
00:25:31Come, within our bosom shine.
00:25:33You of comforters, the best.
00:25:36You, the soul's most welcome guest.
00:25:38Sweet refreshment here below.
00:25:41In our labor, rest most sweet.
00:25:44Grateful coolness in the heat.
00:25:46Solace in the midst of woe.
00:25:49O most blessed light divine.
00:25:51Shine within these hearts of yours.
00:25:54And our inmost being fill.
00:25:57Where you are not, we have not.
00:26:00Nothing good in deed or thought.
00:26:02Nothing free from taint of ill.
00:26:05Heal our wounds.
00:26:06Our strength renew.
00:26:08On our dryness pour your dew.
00:26:11Wash the stains of guilt away.
00:26:14Bend the stubborn heart and will.
00:26:16Melt the frozen.
00:26:18Warm the chill.
00:26:20Guide the steps that go astray.
00:26:23On the faithful who adore.
00:26:25And confess you evermore.
00:26:28In your sevenfold gift, descend.
00:26:31Give them virtue, sure reward.
00:26:34Give them your salvation, Lord.
00:26:37Give them joys that never end.
00:26:39Amen.
00:26:40Alleluia.
00:26:41Alleluia.
00:26:42Please rise.
00:26:46Alleluia.
00:26:48Alleluia.
00:26:53Alleluia.
00:26:56Alleluia.
00:26:59Alleluia.
00:27:02Alleluia.
00:27:05I will pour out my Spirit upon all humankind.
00:27:10Your sons and daughters shall prophesy.
00:27:13Your old men shall dream dreams.
00:27:16Your young men shall see visions.
00:27:21Alleluia.
00:27:24Alleluia.
00:27:29Alleluia.
00:27:35Alleluia.
00:27:53The Lord be in my heart and on my lips
00:27:54and I'm worthy to proclaim this holy gospel
00:27:56through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
00:28:01The Lord be with you.
00:28:03And with your spirit.
00:28:04A reading from the holy gospel according to St. John.
00:28:08Glory be to you, O Lord.
00:28:10On the evening of that first day of the week,
00:28:14when the doors were locked where the disciples were
00:28:17for fear of the Jews,
00:28:19Jesus came and stood in their midst
00:28:21and said to them,
00:28:23Peace be with you.
00:28:25When he had said this,
00:28:26he showed them his hands and his side.
00:28:29The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.
00:28:32Jesus said to them again,
00:28:34Peace be with you.
00:28:37As the Father has sent me,
00:28:39so I send you.
00:28:41And when he had said this,
00:28:43he breathed on them
00:28:44and said to them,
00:28:46Receive the Holy Spirit.
00:28:48Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them,
00:28:51and whose sins you retain are retained.
00:28:53This is the gospel of the Lord.
00:28:58Praise be to you, O Lord Jesus Christ.
00:29:01As your spirit moved over the waters,
00:29:30And you spoke and there was light.
00:29:37Hear the sighs of sons and daughters,
00:29:46Fly from depths of sin and night.
00:29:53Lord, send them on your Holy Spirit,
00:30:01Your poor children humbly pray.
00:30:08Speak your truth and help us hear it,
00:30:16That we follow in your way.
00:30:28Come, Holy Spirit,
00:30:29kill the hearts of thy faith
00:30:30with the fire of thy love.
00:30:31They were astounded and in amazement asked,
00:30:44Are not all these people who are speaking Galileans?
00:30:48Then how does each of us hear them
00:30:50in his native language?
00:30:52In the name of the Father,
00:30:53and of the Son,
00:30:54and of the Holy Spirit.
00:30:55Amen.
00:30:56My dear brothers and sisters,
00:30:59let us take account of those
00:31:02who were in the upper room
00:31:04on the day of Pentecost.
00:31:07These were leaders.
00:31:09They were the apostles.
00:31:11Remember, they were the leaders
00:31:12of the church that Jesus left
00:31:15at his ascension.
00:31:18And these leaders were not leading.
00:31:22They were sitting.
00:31:23They were not leading.
00:31:27The apostles.
00:31:29Apostle itself means one who is sent.
00:31:34Remember that a disciple means a learner.
00:31:39But when you get done being a disciple,
00:31:41when you get done learning
00:31:42what the Master teaches us,
00:31:44you need to be an apostle.
00:31:46You need to go out to be sent.
00:31:49And those sent ones
00:31:52were locked upstairs
00:31:55and they were out of the way.
00:31:59Now certainly,
00:32:00they were following Jesus' instruction
00:32:02that he gave at the time of his ascension
00:32:06not to leave Jerusalem.
00:32:09He didn't say stay locked up.
00:32:11He said don't leave Jerusalem,
00:32:13but wait there for the promise
00:32:15of the Father.
00:32:16Could or should they have done more?
00:32:22Remember, it's been ten days.
00:32:25Jesus ascended into heaven.
00:32:27They stood there amazed.
00:32:29The angel gave them a message
00:32:30and they went back to Jerusalem
00:32:32praising God.
00:32:35Could they have done more?
00:32:38Were opportunities lost?
00:32:40Now we're all good Americans here
00:32:43and we all think,
00:32:44oh, I'm going to miss that opportunity.
00:32:47If I don't buy a lottery ticket,
00:32:49I'm going to miss the opportunity.
00:32:52Got to be in it to win it.
00:32:53Got to take advantage
00:32:54when the time is right.
00:32:57Did they lose opportunities?
00:33:01Opportunities to bring people to Christ
00:33:04and to give them knowledge
00:33:07of the salvation Christ had won for them.
00:33:11Now this is a whole bunch of observations
00:33:13and I've left a whole bunch of hanging questions.
00:33:18Now I want to first go back a little bit
00:33:20to those words from the Gospel.
00:33:23Were not all of these Galileans?
00:33:27Every one of the apostles,
00:33:29except Judas,
00:33:31was a Galilean.
00:33:33Judas was a Judean.
00:33:35They were all Galileans.
00:33:40Their accent was different.
00:33:42It's like somebody coming up from Georgia
00:33:45or one of those southern states
00:33:47and you're like,
00:33:48oh yeah, I know where you're from.
00:33:49They had a totally different accent.
00:33:53Did you ever wonder why
00:33:55when we go somewhere
00:33:57people mistake us for Midwesterners?
00:34:00Because a lot of people in upstate New York
00:34:02have Midwestern accents.
00:34:04People could tell right away
00:34:08they were Galileans.
00:34:09Remember on the night of Jesus' arrest,
00:34:12as Peter followed him
00:34:13into the courtyard
00:34:15and gathered around the fire,
00:34:18the woman who was tending
00:34:20said to him,
00:34:22are you not a Galilean?
00:34:24She could tell right away.
00:34:25It's his accent.
00:34:26She's like, I know where you're from.
00:34:27You're from Galilee.
00:34:34Now there's one item
00:34:35that many people
00:34:37misunderstand
00:34:38because we want to make
00:34:40sort of this miraculous thing
00:34:42happen, right?
00:34:44that these men from Galilee,
00:34:48they were,
00:34:49in kind terms,
00:34:51they were simple
00:34:52and they were ignorant men.
00:34:57Simple and ignorant men.
00:34:58They were basically bums, right?
00:35:02It's like simple and ignorant men.
00:35:04Then the Holy Spirit came
00:35:05and became leaders
00:35:07and apostles.
00:35:08That's not true.
00:35:12They weren't simple
00:35:12and they weren't ignorant.
00:35:14Now people from Galilee,
00:35:16Galilee was super cosmopolitan.
00:35:19Galilee was the New York City
00:35:20or Los Angeles of its time.
00:35:23People from all over the world
00:35:25gathered in Galilee
00:35:26because there were opportunities there,
00:35:28there were trade routes,
00:35:30there was fishing to be done.
00:35:34Galilee was very,
00:35:35you got to know a lot
00:35:37if you lived in Galilee.
00:35:38You encountered people
00:35:39from all over the world, right?
00:35:42It's very cosmopolitan.
00:35:43Very kind of upscale
00:35:45in Galilee there.
00:35:48Not only that,
00:35:50many of the apostles
00:35:51were business people.
00:35:54They ran a fishing industry.
00:35:57They weren't ignorant.
00:35:59They weren't simple.
00:36:00They were smart.
00:36:02They were smart
00:36:03and they lived
00:36:03in a cosmopolitan environment.
00:36:07Like us,
00:36:13those apostles,
00:36:15trained by Jesus,
00:36:16were ready to be leaders.
00:36:18They were ready to be leaders
00:36:20just like we are.
00:36:22They were intelligent
00:36:23just like we are.
00:36:26They had already been sent
00:36:28as we heard in the gospel.
00:36:31Jesus breathed on them,
00:36:33received the Holy Spirit.
00:36:35Now go out there
00:36:37and do stuff.
00:36:41Baptize the whole world
00:36:42in my name,
00:36:44in the name of the Father
00:36:45and of the Son
00:36:45and of the Holy Spirit.
00:36:50They had to get to work
00:36:51because
00:36:53if they did not get to work,
00:36:56the salvation that Jesus offered
00:36:58would end with them.
00:37:00that would be it.
00:37:03It would be lost
00:37:04to us,
00:37:07to our descendants,
00:37:09and to the people
00:37:10of our community
00:37:11who need to hear
00:37:13the name of Jesus.
00:37:15They need to be told.
00:37:18We need to do it.
00:37:21Jesus knew their knowledge.
00:37:23He knew that they had skills.
00:37:25He knew that they had abilities.
00:37:27They weren't perfect,
00:37:29for sure.
00:37:31But he knew they had knowledge,
00:37:32skills, and abilities.
00:37:35He knew they needed
00:37:36just one more thing.
00:37:38And that one more thing
00:37:40that they needed
00:37:41was the inspiration,
00:37:43the gifts,
00:37:44and the guidance
00:37:45and the power
00:37:46of the Holy Spirit.
00:37:49So Jesus asked
00:37:51his Heavenly Father
00:37:52to give them
00:37:53the Holy Spirit
00:37:54because the Spirit
00:37:56comes from the Father.
00:38:00So the Father
00:38:01sent the Holy Spirit.
00:38:03That's what we celebrate today.
00:38:07All the observations,
00:38:09all the questions
00:38:10that I covered
00:38:10at the beginning
00:38:11of this reflection
00:38:12apply equally to us.
00:38:17As with those apostles
00:38:19in the upper room,
00:38:20we must each lead.
00:38:25We must each lead.
00:38:26It's an important role.
00:38:29It doesn't mean
00:38:29you have to be out
00:38:30in front of the whole crowd
00:38:31and yelling and screaming
00:38:33and stuff
00:38:34like some leaders do.
00:38:36But we have to lead.
00:38:39And that means
00:38:39we have to lead others
00:38:40to Christ.
00:38:42That's our job.
00:38:44We can't stay locked
00:38:46in an upper room.
00:38:48We can't stay locked
00:38:49in our homes.
00:38:51We can't stay locked
00:38:52in here.
00:38:53This is a starting point.
00:38:56But it is not
00:38:57the ending point.
00:38:59It's a starting point
00:39:00for the leadership
00:39:00we are to exercise.
00:39:04We have been sent.
00:39:07We are those apostles
00:39:09to carry Christ's message
00:39:10into the world.
00:39:12To do that work
00:39:14that Jesus asks us to do.
00:39:16To follow in his footsteps.
00:39:17To live by example.
00:39:20To show what Jesus means
00:39:22to us
00:39:23and to the world.
00:39:27And we have all we need.
00:39:29Because we have the Holy Spirit.
00:39:33Never, never doubt that.
00:39:36We have the Holy Spirit.
00:39:39As I mentioned at the beginning
00:39:40before Holy Mass.
00:39:44Try it out.
00:39:47Very simple.
00:39:49You'll feel that nudge.
00:39:50You'll be in the supermarket.
00:39:52You'll be at the bank.
00:39:53You'll be out with friends.
00:39:55You'll be going to dinner.
00:39:57And you'll feel that nudge.
00:39:59And that inspiration
00:40:01to pray.
00:40:02To say something
00:40:03to someone.
00:40:05To do a kindness.
00:40:07You'll just feel
00:40:07that little nudge.
00:40:17And if you do it.
00:40:20If you follow through.
00:40:21You will see amazing things
00:40:23start to happen.
00:40:25Wonderful things.
00:40:26Beautiful things.
00:40:27Glorious things.
00:40:28We should never be afraid
00:40:32to follow that inspiration
00:40:33of the Holy Spirit.
00:40:35Never fear the inspiration
00:40:37of the Spirit.
00:40:39God has us in his hand.
00:40:40We learned all about the Father
00:40:41from his Son.
00:40:44He holds us.
00:40:45He protects us.
00:40:47He tells us not to be afraid.
00:40:53Opportunities await.
00:40:55The opportunities are there.
00:40:57Let's be good citizens.
00:40:59Be good Americans.
00:41:01And better than that
00:41:02be great Christians.
00:41:04And take advantage
00:41:05of every opportunity
00:41:07to make Jesus known.
00:41:09In the name of the Father
00:41:10and of the Son
00:41:10and of the Holy Spirit.
00:41:12Amen.
00:41:27Let us now rise
00:41:33and together
00:41:34profess our faith.
00:41:36I believe in one God,
00:41:38the Father,
00:41:38the Almighty,
00:41:40maker of heaven and earth,
00:41:41of all that is seen
00:41:43and unseen.
00:41:44I believe in one Lord,
00:41:46Jesus Christ,
00:41:47the only Son of God,
00:41:49eternally begotten
00:41:50of the Father,
00:41:51God from God,
00:41:52light from light,
00:41:54true God from true God,
00:41:55begotten not made
00:41:57of one being
00:41:58with the Father.
00:41:59Through him
00:41:59all things are made
00:42:01for us
00:42:02and for our salvation.
00:42:03He came down
00:42:04from heaven
00:42:05by the power
00:42:06of the Holy Spirit.
00:42:07He was born
00:42:08of the Virgin Mary
00:42:09and became man.
00:42:13For our sake,
00:42:14he was crucified
00:42:15under Pontius Pilate.
00:42:17He suffered death
00:42:18and was buried.
00:42:19On the third day,
00:42:20he rose again
00:42:21in fulfillment
00:42:22of the scriptures.
00:42:24He ascended into heaven
00:42:25and is seated
00:42:26at the right hand
00:42:27of the Father.
00:42:28He will come again
00:42:29in glory
00:42:30to judge the living
00:42:31and the dead
00:42:32and his kingdom
00:42:33will have no end.
00:42:35I believe in the Holy Spirit,
00:42:37the Lord and giver of life,
00:42:39who proceeds from the Father
00:42:41with the Father and the Son.
00:42:43He is worshiped
00:42:44and glorified.
00:42:45He has spoken
00:42:46through the prophets.
00:42:48I believe in one
00:42:49holy Catholic
00:42:50and apostolic church.
00:42:52I acknowledge one baptism
00:42:53for the forgiveness
00:42:54of sins.
00:42:55I look for the resurrection
00:42:57of the dead
00:42:57and the life
00:42:59of the world
00:42:59to come.
00:43:00Amen.
00:43:04The Lord be with you.
00:43:06And with the Spirit.
00:43:08As the body of Christ,
00:43:09let us pray
00:43:10to the Father
00:43:11in the faith,
00:43:12hope, and love

00:53:39and let it become for us
00:53:41the body and the blood of your Son,
00:53:44our Lord Jesus Christ.
00:53:47The day before he suffered and died,
00:53:49our Lord desired to make his love
00:53:51known to his disciples
00:53:52and all who would follow him.
00:53:55He therefore instituted these sacred mysteries

00:53:59spiritually and bodily
00:54:01in his whole being
00:54:02and abides with us forever.
00:54:08At that moment,
00:54:09so sacred for all of humanity,
00:54:12Jesus took bread into his holy hands,
00:54:15and looking up to heaven,
00:54:16to you, his almighty Father,
00:54:18he gave you thanks.
00:54:20He blessed the bread,
00:54:23broke it,
00:54:24and gave it to his disciples,
00:54:26saying,

00:54:28all of you,
00:54:29and eat it,
00:54:30for this is my body,
00:54:32which is given for you.
00:54:34When supper had ended,
00:54:53he took the cup.
00:54:55In the same way,
00:54:56he gave you thanks,
00:54:58blessed it,
00:54:59and gave it to his disciples,
00:55:01saying,
00:55:01Take this,
00:55:03all of you,
00:55:03and drink from it,
00:55:05for this is the cup of my blood,
00:55:07the blood of the new
00:55:08and everlasting covenant,
00:55:10which shall be shed for you
00:55:12and for many
00:55:13for the forgiveness of sins.
00:55:15As often as you do this,
00:55:17do it in remembrance of me.
00:55:19Amen.
00:55:19Amen.
00:55:19Amen.

00:55:53on these offerings,
00:55:54and accept them

00:56:00Abraham,
00:56:01and the bread and wine

01:09:11And also in you.
01:09:15Let us pray.
01:09:47Establish us in the knowledge of God and in the fear of the Lord, that we may see the kingdom of heaven upon the earth.
01:09:56For together with the Father and the Son, you live and reign, one God, forever and ever.
01:10:05Amen.
01:10:06Amen.
01:10:07Amen.
01:10:08Amen.
01:10:09Amen.
01:10:11Amen.
01:10:12Amen.
01:10:13Amen.
01:10:14Amen.
01:10:15Amen.
01:10:16Amen.
01:10:17Amen.
01:10:18But unfortunately, I think I got my shoulder pulled a little.
01:10:22Doggy took me for a walk.
01:10:25So you probably noticed I wasn't as expansive as I usually am.
01:10:29And that's because this shoulder is really killing me.
01:10:32So I think we'll forego exposition and benediction today.
01:10:36Let God work on my shoulder.
01:10:39And we'll do that next week.
01:10:41The Lord be with you.
01:10:44May Almighty God bless you.
01:10:46The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
01:10:50Let's go forth in peace to love and serve the Lord.
01:10:54Alleluia. Alleluia.
01:10:56Thanks be to God.
01:10:58Alleluia. Alleluia.
01:11:16Alleluia. Alleluia. Alleluia. Alleluia. Alleluia. Alleluia. Alleluia.
