00:02:27Alleluia.
00:02:28Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people, and has raised
00:02:35a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David, as he spoke by the mouth
00:02:41of his holy prophets from of old, that we should be saved from our enemies and from the hand
00:02:47of all who hate us, to perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant,
00:02:54the oath which he swore to our father Abraham, to grant us that we, being delivered from the
00:03:01hand of our enemies, might serve him without fear in holiness and righteousness before him
00:03:07all the days of our life.
00:03:09And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High, for you will go before the
00:03:15Lord to prepare his ways, to give knowledge of salvation to his people in the forgiveness
00:03:20of their sins, through the tender mercy of our God, when the day shall dawn upon us from
00:03:26our high, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide
00:03:32our feet into the way of peace.
00:03:34Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.

00:05:58Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.

00:06:11Amen.
00:06:12Let us pray.
00:06:13O God, who does gladden us by the yearly feast day of our Lord's resurrection.
00:06:19Deign to grant that we who celebrate these solemnities in time may reach heavenly joys in eternity.
00:06:26We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, thy Son, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost.
00:06:32One God forever and ever.
00:06:35Amen.
00:06:36Well, good morning, everyone, on this special day.
00:06:39Sunday, of course, is always a special day, but today is made especially special because we welcome a new member into the Catholic faith, our dear sister Adriana.
00:06:53And with her baptism, we celebrate with her and her family.
00:06:57A few quick announcements before we begin.
00:07:00Again, for those of you who are visitors here, a couple of things.
00:07:04One, if you don't have a home of faith, here's your place.
00:07:08This is a wonderful church, a wonderful faith community, and you are always welcome here at Holy Name of Jesus.
00:07:18Our men's retreat is coming up.
00:07:21There are information and forms on the back table.
00:07:26You do not have to be a member of the church to go to the men's retreat.
00:07:29It's open to all men.
00:07:31It's three days from June 18th through the 21st.
00:07:37And please take advantage of this.
00:07:39It is a time that you truthfully will never forget.
00:07:44The spiritual fruits of our men's retreat are wonderful and long-lasting.
00:07:50So I highly recommend that to you.
00:07:54Father's Day greetings.
00:07:55If you wish to place a Father's Day greeting into our national church newspaper, there's forms for that on the back table.
00:08:04Please remember that we are now in June.
00:08:08We enter the month of June, a month dedicated to the sacred heart of Jesus and a month dedicated to sacred vocations.
00:08:16So please redouble your prayers for the gift of vocations to the priesthood and diaconate.
00:08:23Those prayers are definitely working.
00:08:26Please remember to support our seminary.
00:08:29There's a collection basket on the back table for that.
00:08:32And there is a prayer in your bulletin, a prayer for vocations.
00:08:37Heavenly Father, Master of the Harvest, we humbly ask you to send more laborers into your field, for the work is indeed great.
00:08:45Grant more faithful priests and deacons to your Polish National Catholic Church.
00:08:50We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
00:08:53Amen.
00:08:54Thank you to everyone who came out for Memorial Day.
00:08:58We had a beautiful Holy Mass at our Holy Name of Jesus Cemetery here in Schenectady.
00:09:05It was a beautiful day and it was a wonderful celebration.
00:09:10So thank you for doing that.
00:09:12We have Holy Name of Jesus t-shirts.
00:09:14They're free.
00:09:15So if you want one, need one, just want to put in your collection of t-shirts.
00:09:21They are downstairs on the table.
00:09:24So please avail yourself of those.
00:09:28Our next pizza and game night for our parish family will be held on Saturday, June 14th, starting at 5 p.m.
00:09:38So come with the family, come with the kids, and we'll play games, board games, which is a wonderful thing to do as a family,
00:09:47and enjoy some great pizza and snacks.
00:09:50The week ahead, pretty normal, tomorrow our food pantry, take note of that, Holy Mass each day, except Wednesday and Wednesday we'll have devotions to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
00:10:06Next Sunday is Pentecost, the birth of the Church, so please note that we have a normal Holy Mass schedule for next Sunday.
00:10:17So I think that's enough, probably more than enough, but wonderful.
00:10:23Let us now rise for our Easter Spurges.
00:10:26I saw water coming forth.
00:10:40And now to whom that water came, they were earthy, and they shall say,
00:11:00Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
00:11:12Praise God from whom all blessings flow, praise Him, all creatures below, alleluia, alleluia.
00:11:28Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts, praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
00:11:36Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
00:11:52On page 12 of your tan pew missile, page 12.
00:11:58Show us your mercy, Lord, alleluia.
00:12:02Alleluia.
00:12:06Lord, hear our prayer.
00:12:10The Lord be with you.
00:12:13And also with you.
00:12:14Let us pray.
00:12:15Father, we call upon you to abide with your people who are assembled here.
00:12:20Cleanse us of our sins and make us aware of the promise of your Son,
00:12:25that where two or three are gathered together in his name, he is with them.
00:12:29Through this Holy Eucharist we celebrate.
00:12:32Make us worthy to sit at his table in the kingdom of heaven.
00:12:37We ask this through the same Jesus Christ, our Lord.

00:15:39and on this day of celebration for Dom, Carly, Tom, and Nicole,
00:15:45as they bring Adriana into the house of God through her baptism,
00:15:51through that regeneration that comes through the waters of baptism.
00:15:56Today's Holy Mass is offered, of course, for Adriana, as well as for her parents, godparents, and her entire family.
00:16:04Today's Holy Mass begins on page 63 of the Tan Pugh Missal in the contemporary rite,
00:16:12and we begin in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
00:16:17Lord, bless us with the wisdom to praise you in spirit and in truth,
00:16:21so that by following your holy will, we may gain eternal salvation.
00:16:25My dear brothers and sisters, let's now pause, confess our sins to God,
00:16:31and prepare ourselves so that we may worthily participate in this holy sacrifice.
00:16:37Please take a moment now to kneel or sit if you must,
00:16:40complete an examination of conscience,
00:16:43confess your sins privately to God,
00:16:46and seek his forgiveness.
00:16:48Amen.
00:16:55And recalled our sinfulness in seeking reconciliation with God and each other,
00:17:09let us now recite the second form of the Confidure, found on page 66.
00:17:15I confess to Almighty God, in the presence of the Blessed Virgin Mary,
00:17:20all the saints, and you, my brothers and sisters,
00:17:23that I have sinned through my own fault,
00:17:26in my thoughts, in my words,
00:17:29in what I have done or failed to do.
00:17:31I ask the Blessed Virgin Mary,
00:17:34all the saints, and you, my brothers and sisters,
00:17:36to pray for me to the Lord our God.
00:17:40As an act of penance for our sinfulness,
00:17:42let us offer up an hour, Father, this evening,
00:17:45before we go to bed,
00:17:47for the intention of Adriana and her walk in the Christian faith.

00:17:54forgive us our sins,
00:17:55and bring us to everlasting life.

00:21:53A reading from the Acts of the Apostles
00:22:06Stephen
00:22:07Filled with the Holy Spirit
00:22:10Look up intently to heaven
00:22:12And saw the glory of God
00:22:15And Jesus standing at the right hand of God
00:22:18And Stephen said
00:22:21Behold
00:22:22I see the heavens opened
00:22:24And the Son of Man
00:22:26Standing at the right hand of God
00:22:29But they cried out in a loud voice
00:22:32Covered their ears
00:22:34And rushed upon him together
00:22:37They threw him out of the city
00:22:40And began to stone him
00:22:42The witnesses laid down their cloaks
00:22:46At the feet of the young man
00:22:48Named Saul
00:22:50As they were stoning Stephen
00:22:53He called out
00:22:54Lord Jesus
00:22:57Receive my spirit
00:22:59Then he fell to his knees
00:23:02And cried out in a loud voice
00:23:04Lord
00:23:06Do not hold this sin
00:23:08Against them
00:23:10And when he said this
00:23:13He fell asleep

00:28:06So that they may be one
00:28:08As we are one
00:28:09I in them
00:28:10And you in me
00:28:11That they may be brought
00:28:13To perfection
00:28:14As one
00:28:15That the world may know
00:28:16That you sent me
00:28:17And that you love them
00:28:19Even as you loved me
00:28:21Father they are your gift to me
00:28:24I wish that where I am
00:28:26They also may be with me
00:28:28That they may see my glory
00:28:30That you gave me
00:28:31Because you loved me
00:28:33Before the foundation
00:28:34Of the world
00:28:35Righteous Father
00:28:37The world does not know you
00:28:39But I know you
00:28:40And they know that you sent me
00:28:42I made known to them your name
00:28:45And I will make it known
00:28:47That the love with which you love me
00:28:49May be in them
00:28:51And I in them
00:28:53This is the Gospel
00:28:54Of the Lord
00:28:56Be to you, O Lord Jesus Christ
00:29:00Holy Spirit
00:29:16Come inspire us
00:29:19Send your sevenfold gift upon us
00:29:25As we hear your word
00:29:29Most solemn
00:29:30Teach our hearts
00:29:33To know your wisdom
00:29:35As we hear your word
00:29:40Most solemn
00:29:41Teach our hearts
00:29:44To know your wisdom
00:29:46Voice, bring your hearts
00:29:49Light faith with the fire
00:29:50Of thy love
00:29:51Now I've got to give
00:29:59Most of you who are our guests
00:30:00A clue
00:30:01That Easter greeting
00:30:02If you know your
00:30:04Christian history
00:30:05Is Christ is risen
00:30:07Alleluia
00:30:08And the response being
00:30:09He is risen indeed
00:30:10Or he is truly risen
00:30:12Alleluia
00:30:13So we're going to say that
00:30:14In a moment
00:30:15And we want to hear it
00:30:16Loud and clear
00:30:17All right
00:30:18From today's Scripture
00:30:21I made known to them
00:30:22Your name
00:30:23And I will make it known
00:30:25That the love
00:30:26With which you love me
00:30:28May be in them
00:30:29And I in them
00:30:31Christ is risen
00:30:33Alleluia
00:30:35He is truly risen
00:30:37Alleluia
00:30:38All right
00:30:40Excellent job
00:30:41In the name of the Father
00:30:41And of the Son
00:30:42And of the Holy Spirit
00:30:43Amen
00:30:44Over the past month
00:30:46We have focused
00:30:48On Jesus' teaching
00:30:49Much of the Gospels
00:30:51For the past month or so
00:30:52Have been taken
00:30:53From the Gospel of John
00:30:55And from Jesus'
00:30:57Last Supper discourse
00:30:58With his apostles
00:31:00He is teaching them
00:31:02He is praying for them
00:31:03He is instructing them
00:31:05And he is providing
00:31:07An example for them
00:31:09He knows where he is headed
00:31:12He is headed toward the cross
00:31:14And he wants to leave
00:31:15With them
00:31:16The strength and knowledge
00:31:18That they would need
00:31:20To be his witnesses
00:31:22Now we all know that
00:31:25They didn't really
00:31:26Hear him too well
00:31:28Right
00:31:28When he was arrested
00:31:30They all ran away
00:31:31And they hid
00:31:32Which was not
00:31:33What he wanted
00:31:34Yet when the Holy Spirit came
00:31:37Which we will celebrate
00:31:38Next Sunday
00:31:39On Pentecost
00:31:40They indeed followed
00:31:42All that he taught them
00:31:44Jesus' teaching at this time
00:31:49Was about revealing
00:31:50His Father to them
00:31:52Who is his Father?
00:31:53What is his Father's nature?
00:31:55What is his Father's character?
00:31:58What's his Father like?
00:32:00And we know that the Father's nature
00:32:03And the Father's character
00:32:04Is love itself
00:32:06God is love itself
00:32:10As we discussed
00:32:12Several weeks ago
00:32:13That nature
00:32:14And that character of love
00:32:15Is expressed
00:32:17In the relationship
00:32:18Of the Father
00:32:19With the Son
00:32:20And the Holy Spirit
00:32:22It's an essential
00:32:23Relationship
00:32:24Of the three persons
00:32:26Of the Holy Trinity
00:32:27We'll celebrate that
00:32:28In two weeks
00:32:28Where love
00:32:31Is perfectly expressed
00:32:33And what Jesus came to do
00:32:35Is he came to bring us
00:32:37Into that relationship
00:32:38Of love
00:32:39So that we are all
00:32:40Connected with each other
00:32:42As the Father
00:32:43Son and Spirit
00:32:44Are connected
00:32:45With each other
00:32:46And that we love
00:32:47As they love
00:32:49That's what Jesus
00:32:51Came to teach us
00:32:52St. John captures
00:32:56This revelation
00:32:57And I guess that's why
00:33:00It's called the book
00:33:01A revelation
00:33:01Right?
00:33:02He captures
00:33:03This revelation
00:33:04Really well
00:33:06When he says
00:33:07The Spirit
00:33:08And the bride
00:33:09Say come
00:33:10Let the hearer
00:33:11Say come
00:33:12Let the one
00:33:13Who thirsts
00:33:15Come forward
00:33:16And the one
00:33:17Who wants
00:33:17To receive it
00:33:18The gift
00:33:20Of life-giving
00:33:21Water
00:33:22God's invitation
00:33:24Is to come
00:33:26To come in
00:33:27To be part
00:33:29Of his love
00:33:30To share
00:33:31In this kind
00:33:31Of a community
00:33:32To be part
00:33:34Of it
00:33:34Not
00:33:35About
00:33:37Doing stuff
00:33:40Doing stuff
00:33:41Is good
00:33:41Doing stuff
00:33:42Is important
00:33:42Ministry
00:33:43And outreach
00:33:44Are essential
00:33:45Because there's a mark
00:33:46Of our Christian faith
00:33:48But that faith
00:33:49Is best expressed
00:33:50When we are together
00:33:51In a relationship
00:33:53Of love
00:33:54Today we see
00:33:57Adriana
00:33:58And her parents
00:33:59And her godparents
00:34:01Doing this very thing
00:34:03They heard the invitation
00:34:05Come
00:34:06And so here they are
00:34:08When we begin
00:34:12Our ritual of baptism
00:34:13And we'll start
00:34:14At the back of the church
00:34:15One of the questions is
00:34:17What do you ask
00:34:18Of the church
00:34:19Of God
00:34:20And the response
00:34:21To that question
00:34:23Is faith
00:34:24Which can be
00:34:25Translated into
00:34:27Love
00:34:29And it can be
00:34:31Translated into
00:34:32I want to come in
00:34:34I want to receive
00:34:36That love
00:34:37That is the relationship
00:34:39Of the Christian people
00:34:41To each other
00:34:42To share in the great love
00:34:45Of the father
00:34:47Throughout the Easter season
00:34:50You saw it at the beginning
00:34:51Of Holy Mass today
00:34:52And we've been doing this
00:34:52For now
00:34:53Seven weeks
00:34:54Of the Easter season
00:34:55We do what we call
00:34:56The Easter asperges
00:34:58The blessing with holy water
00:35:01Right
00:35:01It's an important thing
00:35:03And why is it
00:35:04An important thing
00:35:04Because it helps us
00:35:06To recall
00:35:07Our very own baptism
00:35:09We are sprinkled
00:35:11With that same water
00:35:12Of baptism
00:35:13Again
00:35:14And it should remind us
00:35:15Of that sacred moment
00:35:17In our lives
00:35:18The hymn
00:35:20That we sing
00:35:21During the Easter asperges
00:35:23In Polish
00:35:24Is called
00:35:24Vyjaum Wodum
00:35:26Vyjaum Wodum
00:35:28In Latin
00:35:29It's called
00:35:30Vydi Aquam
00:35:31And in English
00:35:32I saw water
00:35:34I saw water
00:35:36Go to the book
00:35:38Of Ezekiel
00:35:38Ezekiel chapter 47
00:35:40Where Ezekiel
00:35:42Perceives
00:35:44Through God's
00:35:45Prophecy
00:35:48Water flowing
00:35:49From the right side
00:35:51Of the temple
00:35:51Water that trickles out
00:35:54And becomes a stream
00:35:55And the stream
00:35:55Becomes a river
00:35:56And the river
00:35:57Flows into the ocean
00:35:59And makes the ocean sweet
00:36:02We saw water
00:36:06Flow with blood
00:36:08From the right side
00:36:09Of Christ
00:36:09On the cross
00:36:10As he is pierced
00:36:12With the lance
00:36:13I saw water
00:36:16And it's not about
00:36:18Just seeing it
00:36:19My brothers and sisters
00:36:20It's not just about
00:36:21Oh look
00:36:22There's some water
00:36:22That's nice
00:36:23It's not about
00:36:25Seeing it
00:36:26It's not about
00:36:26Looking at this water
00:36:28From a distance
00:36:29Just as an observer
00:36:32But taking part in it
00:36:35To be washed in it
00:36:37To come to that water
00:36:38To be filled
00:36:40With that water
00:36:41That water
00:36:43That brings life
00:36:44Let each of us
00:36:49Enter in the washing
00:36:50And the filling
00:36:51That that water brings
00:36:53The gift of God's love
00:36:57Resides in us
00:36:58Resides in us
00:37:01Resides now
00:37:04A lot of times
00:37:06In an imperfect sense
00:37:07We don't love
00:37:08As we truly should
00:37:09But we're working on it
00:37:11And that's the thing
00:37:13You should always hear
00:37:14We're working on it
00:37:15And we're here
00:37:16To support each other
00:37:17As we work on our love
00:37:19So that we become
00:37:21More like the Father
00:37:22That we become sanctified
00:37:25Through our journey
00:37:25In life
00:37:26To be like him
00:37:28And to love
00:37:28Like him
00:37:29So that when we come
00:37:30Into eternity
00:37:31With the Father
00:37:33He will see
00:37:35The love
00:37:36That we bring
00:37:37The love
00:37:37That we carry
00:37:38The gift is new
00:37:41For Adriana
00:37:43Today
00:37:43That's why
00:37:45It's such a special day
00:37:46She enters
00:37:48Into that relationship
00:37:50Of love
00:37:51With the Father
00:37:52The Son
00:37:52And the Holy Spirit
00:37:53Let's pray
00:37:57That it abides
00:37:58In her
00:37:59As it does
00:38:00In each of us
00:38:01Let's together
00:38:03Ensure
00:38:04That we live
00:38:05Out that love
00:38:06Each and every day
00:38:08In every way possible
00:38:09Especially in the little things
00:38:12Especially in the little things
00:38:14And that we help her
00:38:17On her journey
00:38:19Of love
00:38:20In the name of the Father
00:38:21And of the Son
00:38:22And of the Holy Spirit
00:38:22Amen
00:38:23My dear brothers and sisters
00:38:26You may remain seated
00:38:27For the baptismal rite
00:38:28Amen
00:38:29Amen
00:39:28Come Holy Spirit.
00:39:58What do you ask the church of God?
00:40:26What does faith bring to you?
00:40:32If therefore you will enter into life, keep the commandments.
00:40:37You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.
00:40:45Now, receive the Holy Spirit, the Comforter promised by Jesus Christ.
00:40:56Next, receive the sign of the cross upon your brow and upon your heart, and be such in your conduct that you may become a temple of God.
00:41:09Let us pray.
00:41:12Graciously hear our prayers.
00:41:13We ask you, Lord, with your eternal light, protect this your elect, Adriana Crystal, signed with the seal of the cross of our Lord,
00:41:23that being faithful to your commandments, she may attain the glory of regeneration.
00:41:28We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
00:41:32Amen.
00:41:33Let us pray.
00:41:36Almighty, everlasting God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, look graciously upon your servant, Adriana Crystal,
00:41:46whom you have called unto the beginning of the faith.
00:41:50Open, O Lord, unto her the gate of your church, that being inspired by the sign of your wisdom,
00:41:55she may be free from all evil desires, advance in perfection from day to day, and joyfully serve you in your church.
00:42:04We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
00:42:07Amen.
00:42:18Receive these grains of salt as a sign that you are to guard yourself against sin
00:42:23and seek the wisdom of God.
00:42:26Amen.
00:42:27Peace be with you.
00:42:30May you be preserved and protected from all sin and evil by God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,
00:42:39who has created you and redeemed you unto life everlasting.
00:42:44Be therefore grateful unto the Lord.
00:42:47Worship and honor his holy name.
00:42:49Keep in deepest respect at all times this holy sign of the cross and never defile it with a non-Christian life.
00:43:03Let us pray.
00:43:05O Holy Lord, Father almighty, eternal God, author of light and truth,
00:43:10I implore your everlasting and most just goodness upon this, your servant, Adriana Crystal,
00:43:16that you would enlighten her with your wisdom, cleanse her, and sanctify her,
00:43:22give on to her true knowledge, that being made worthy of your grace of regeneration,
00:43:27she might courageously defend and preserve the Christian faith and reap eternal happiness.
00:43:34We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
00:43:36Amen.
00:43:37Amen.
00:43:38Let me give you the end of this.
00:43:41Hold on.
00:43:42We'll walk together side by side.
00:43:44Adriana Crystal, enter the temple of God,
00:43:48that you may have part with Christ unto life everlasting.
00:43:53Amen.
00:43:54Let us pray together the Apostles' Creed.
00:43:57Amen.
00:43:59I believe in one God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth,
00:44:05and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
00:44:08who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate,
00:44:15was crucified, died, and was buried.
00:44:18He descended into hell.
00:44:20The third day he rose again from the dead.
00:44:23He ascended into heaven.
00:44:25He sits at the right hand of God, the Father almighty.
00:44:28From thence he shall come to judge the living and the dead.
00:44:32I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the community of saints,
00:44:37the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
00:44:43Amen.
00:44:44I'm going to scooch around here.
00:44:48Let's pray now together in the words Jesus taught us.
00:44:52Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
00:44:56Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
00:45:01Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,
00:45:06as we forgive those who trespass against us.
00:45:09And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
00:45:14Amen.
00:45:14Let us pray.
00:45:17Almighty everlasting God, whose only begotten Son, Jesus Christ,
00:45:21had shed his blood for the cleansing of all humanity from the stain of sin,
00:45:26and commanded his disciples to teach all nations,
00:45:29baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
00:45:36Grant, we ask you that this child, Adriana Crystal,
00:45:39desiring the baptism of Christ,
00:45:42may through this holy sacrament become a child of God,
00:45:46an heir to your kingdom, and an active member of the Christian church.
00:45:50We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
00:45:53who shall come to judge the living and the dead.
00:45:57Amen.
00:46:02Be opened
00:46:03and listen to the voice of the Lord.
00:46:08Confess the name of Christ before all people,
00:46:15and he shall acknowledge you before his heavenly Father.
00:46:26Do you renounce all evil?
00:46:28and all evil works?
00:46:31And all pomp lies in hypocrisy?
00:46:36I do renounce them.
00:46:37I anoint you with the oil of salvation in Christ Jesus,
00:47:05our Lord,
00:47:06that you may have life everlasting.

00:47:56Do you believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church,
00:48:01the community of saints, the forgiveness of sins,

00:48:08Adriana Crystal, will you be baptized?
00:48:16Okay, so...
00:48:17You want to take her ribbon off?
00:48:24Okay, and then...
00:48:26Adriana Crystal, I baptize you in the name of the Father,

01:01:03which comes to us from the apostles.
01:01:06Remember your people, Lord,
01:01:07especially our brothers and sisters
01:01:09for whom we now pray,
01:01:10especially for Adriana, Dom, Carly,
01:01:14Thomas, and Nicole,
01:01:16and all of Adriana's family members.

01:01:59Bless, accept, and approve this offering
01:02:01we now make to you,
01:02:02and let it be pleasing to you.
01:02:05Fill it with the power of your Holy Spirit,
01:02:07and let it become for us
01:02:08the body and the blood of your Son,
01:02:10our Lord, Jesus Christ.
01:02:12The day before he suffered and died,
01:02:15our Lord desired to make his love
01:02:17known to his disciples
01:02:19and all who would follow him.
01:02:21He therefore instituted these sacred mysteries
01:02:24by which he joined himself with them
01:02:26spiritually and bodily in his whole being
01:02:29and abides with us forever.
01:02:32At that moment, so sacred for all of humanity,
01:02:36Jesus took bread into his holy hands,
01:02:39and linking up to heaven,
01:02:40to you, his Almighty Father,
01:02:41he gave you thanks.
01:02:43He blessed the bread,
01:02:45broke it,
01:02:46and gave it to his disciples,
01:02:48saying,
01:02:48Take this, all of you,
01:02:51and eat it,
01:02:52for this is my body,
01:02:54which is given for you.
01:02:56When supper had ended,
01:03:14he took the cup,
01:03:16in the same way he gave you thanks,
01:03:19blessed it,
01:03:20and gave it to his disciples,
01:03:21saying,
01:03:22Take this, all of you,
01:03:25and drink from it,
01:03:27for this is the cup of my blood,
01:03:29the blood of the new and everlasting covenant,
01:03:32which shall be shed for you
01:03:34and for many for the forgiveness of sins.
01:03:37As often as you do this,
01:03:39do it in remembrance of me.
01:03:41Father,
01:03:56in celebration of the memory of Jesus Christ,
01:03:59your Son,
01:03:59we, your people,
01:04:00recall his passion,
01:04:01resurrection from the dead,
01:04:03and ascension into glory.
01:04:05For the many gifts you have given us,
01:04:07we are for this pure,
01:04:08holy,
01:04:08and spotless offering,
01:04:09the holy bread of life,
01:04:11and the holy cup of eternal salvation.
01:04:13Look favorably on these offerings,
01:04:16and accept them as you once accepted the gifts of your servant Abel,
01:04:19the sacrifice of our Father,
01:04:21in faith Abraham,
01:04:22and the bread and wine offered by your priest,
01:04:25Melchizedek.
01:04:26In humility we ask,
01:04:27Father,
01:04:28that these offerings be carried by your angel,
01:04:30to your high altar in heaven,
01:04:32so that we who receive the sacred body and blood of your Son,
01:04:36from this altar,
01:04:37may be filled with your grace and blessing.
01:04:41Remember,
01:04:42Lord,
01:04:42our brothers and sisters who have died,
01:04:44and have gone before us,
01:04:45marked with the sign of faith.
01:04:48We especially remember on this day,
01:04:49all of Adriana's departed family members.
01:04:54May these,
01:04:55and all who rest in Christ,
01:04:57find happiness,
01:04:58light,
01:04:58and peace.
01:04:59And we who trust in your love,
01:05:01also ask me to include in the fellowship of your holy apostles,
01:05:04martyrs,
01:05:05and saints,
01:05:06who offered their lives to you.
01:05:08They were filled with your justice and mercy,
01:05:10because they lived in accord with the teachings of Jesus,
01:05:14gained eternal joy.
01:05:16Count us among them,
01:05:17Father,
01:05:17not because of what we truly believe,
01:05:20but because you are willing to forgive us.
01:05:22We ask this in the name of your Son,
01:05:24Jesus Christ,
01:05:25by whom you give us all these gifts.
01:05:27You fill them with life and goodness.
01:05:30You bless them,
01:05:31and make them holy.
01:05:32Through him,
01:05:36with him,
01:05:36and in him,
01:05:38in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
01:05:41all honor and glory are yours,
01:05:43Almighty Father,
01:05:45forever and ever.
01:05:49Amen.
01:05:54Let us now pray with confidence to the Father,
01:05:58in the words our Savior gave us.
01:06:01Our Father,
01:06:04who art in heaven,
01:06:08hallowed be thy name.
01:06:12Thy kingdom come,
01:06:16thy will be done,
01:06:20on earth as it is in heaven.
01:06:26give us this day our daily bread,
01:06:33and forgive us our trespasses,
01:06:38as we forgive those who trespass against us,
01:06:46and lead us not into temptation,
01:06:51but deliver us from evil.
01:06:59Deliver us, Lord,
01:07:00from every evil,
01:07:01and grant us peace in our day.
01:07:03In your mercy,
01:07:04keep us free from sin,
01:07:06and protect us from all anxiety,
01:07:10as we wait in joyful hope
01:07:12for the coming of our Savior,
01:07:14Jesus Christ.
01:07:16the cup of blessing which we bless,
01:07:29is it not a participation in the blood of Christ?
01:07:33The bread which we break,
01:07:36is it not a participation in the body of Christ?
01:07:39Because there is one bread,
01:07:42we who are many are one body,
01:07:44for we all partake of the one bread.
01:07:48May the union of divinity and humanity in Jesus Christ
01:07:50bring us sanctification and eternal life.

01:07:57you said to your apostles,
01:07:58I leave you peace,
01:07:59my peace I give you.

01:08:01but on the faith of your church,
01:08:03and grant us the peace and unity of your kingdom,
01:08:06where you live forever and ever.
