00:10the information that we are getting is accurate? Here's how to find out how to trust information

00:20can spread rapidly on social media. Before trusting information as fact, look for accounts

00:26from licensed professionals who will often include their titles in their accounts which

00:30show their credentials. Check if they have a website or other social media profiles which

00:36may give more info on their background and training. Another key thing to look out for is that if you're

00:42watching a video and the person is making big claims, look for scientific studies or research

00:48that support this, especially if it hasn't been shared or referenced to in the video.

00:53Be mindful that some influencers may have sponsorships from brands or companies and that

00:58could influence their content. Often on social media, if it is branded or if it is alongside

01:03with a brand, this should be declared in the post or in the video.
