00:00There's nothing worse than dropping a friend off at the airport and realizing that there's a drop-off fee.
00:05As the old saying goes, no good deed goes unpunished.
00:09In the past year, more than half of the UK's airports have raised or introduced a drop-off fee.
00:14The RAC have published a list of fees at the UK's top 20 airports.
00:19And only one of those airports allows cars to drop off holiday goers without paying a fee.

00:28Here is the breakdown of charges for each airport.
00:31It'll cost you £7 to drop someone off at Bristol, Gatwick, Leeds Bradford, Southampton and Stansted.
00:39You'll need £6 for a quick visit to Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Heathrow and Liverpool John Lennon.
00:47It's £5.50 to drop a pile off at Aberdeen.
00:50And £5 for Bournemouth, East Midlands, Luton, Manchester and Newcastle.
00:59£4.50 for Belfast City.
01:10And £3 for Belfast International and Cardiff.
01:14Amazingly, dropping someone off at London City Airport is free.
01:23However, between the congestion charge and ultra-low emission zones,
01:28driving in the centre of London already comes with its own costs.
01:31£5.50 to £5.50 to £6.50.
