Bulandshahr, UP — A self-styled godman was arrested in the Ahmadgarh police station area after allegedly attempting to rape a woman who had approached him for medicine to treat her husband’s cancer.
According to police, the woman had visited the accused in a village where he claimed to cure serious illnesses. Under the pretense of treatment, he lured her to an upstairs room and tried to sexually assault her.
The distraught victim reported the incident to the police, detailing the horrific encounter. Acting on her complaint, Ahmadgarh Police registered an FIR under relevant sections and arrested the accused.
Bulandshahr Police confirmed that legal proceedings are underway and the investigation is ongoing.
