A disturbing incident has come to light from Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar, where six men allegedly assaulted a burqa-clad woman and her colleague, Sachin, on Saturday. The duo, who work as bank collection agents, were returning from work on a bike when they were stopped and attacked. The incident, caught on video, quickly went viral, sparking outrage.
The attackers—identified as Sartaj, Shadab, Umar, Arsh, Shoaib, and Shami—allegedly stopped the two after asking their names. Upon learning that the man was, they pulled the woman off the bike, dragged them to a nearby shop, and physically assaulted Sachin. One of the accused reportedly removed the woman's burqa, pulled her hair, and slapped her.
A second video showing the accused limping in police custody has also surfaced online.
The crowd at the location intervened and rescued the victims, who later approached the police and filed a complaint. The police acted swiftly and arrested all six accused.
