00:00Hello and welcome to Manchester World. My name is Theo Cousin-Betz and today I'm about to go out onto the streets of Manchester to ask people about legacy, particularly how they want to be remembered.
00:09At this stage in my life, for instance, when I'm looking back, I'd like to remember myself as someone who worked hard and created hopefully engaging content.
00:16We're going to get a lot of different answers for this one, so let's dive straight in.
00:19Someone that's kind, nice to be around.
00:22Yeah, I can just be a good person.
00:24I don't think, I think it's great to be remembered for like achievements, but I don't think that should be like your defining moment necessarily.
00:32Just, yeah, someone that will be missed the most.
00:34I think, yeah, having close friends and families and whatnot who remember you.
00:39Having people to go to your funeral, you know.
00:43Having people tell stories about you.
00:45These are all things that maybe they're not physical things, they're not a legacy, you know.
00:51No one might, there might not be, you might not be curing anything, you might not be winning awards, but it's being remembered.
00:57And I think that's the importance of legacy that you're living.
