Today's contestants are Jan Todd & Age Loverage from Suffolk, Barry & Lorraine Shepherd from Merseyside, Percy & Sam Bright from Essex, and Maureen Heath & Colin Doors from Yorkshire. Bruce Forsyth hosts, but despite Rosemary Ford assisting for some reason in this episode there is no intro from her. Was it cut from the original broadcast for the repeat for Challenge TV? If so, why? Anyway, among the games the teams have to compete in are "Ra Ra Zoom" (involving the Circus Theatre Company), "Sounds Fun" (it isn't, and goes on for far too long), "Bouncy Bouncy" (with Tessa Sanderson & Colin Jackson - no, not what you're thinking) and "TV Themes" (guess the theme, basically). The finale is a Black Watch Highlanders march, but who will be going through to the conveyor belt of prizes? (By the way, all my videos are free to post elsewhere, so if you want to post these it's fine by me).

00:15and I want to play the game with you.
00:22Oh!
00:30Thank you very much indeed.
00:32What a welcome. Thank you.
00:35Thank you very much. Good evening.
00:37Whoo!
00:38Good evening, ladies, gentlemen, and children.
00:40Welcome to the Generation Game.
00:41Nice to see you. To see you...
00:43Nice!
00:44Now, before we start,
00:45I just want to explain something from last week's show.
00:49So, have a look at this.
00:51I'm Henri ho-he-ho-he-ho-ho-he-ho-he-ho.
00:54Oh, I do feel important.
01:03Well, you see, while we were getting the scenery ready,
01:05I went up into the audience
01:07and there I was talking to a lady called Marge
01:09and her mother, who was over 80,
01:11and I was saying I was dreading the next stage
01:14because I was really old, you know,
01:16and she said, yes, Bruce, she said,
01:18you can't do some things and you get important.
01:22I said, what?
01:24She said, yes, Bruce, even you could become important.
01:29I said, what are you talking...
01:30And then I suddenly realised she meant impotent.
01:34That's why we got the big laugh.
01:36So I had to explain what it was all about.
01:38Anyway, here's somebody who is always important to us.
01:44I don't know what to say, then, all of a sudden.
01:46Anyway, here she is, the lovely, the gorgeous Rosemary Thorne.
02:01Our first team's from Suffolk.
02:02They're mother-in-law and son-in-law,
02:04Jan Todd and Age Leverage.
02:15Come on.
02:19I wish I was going to start with you, but anyway,
02:21I'll certainly finish up with you.
02:23You're Janice Todd, and what do you do, dear?
02:25I'm a jeweller's assistant.
02:26A jeweller's assistant, so you're in the same business
02:28as Bugs Bunny, carrots.
02:30You're married to Dave for 27 years.
02:33Now, what about the honeymoon, dear?
02:34Oh, dear, yes.
02:35Well, we went to the Isle of Wight for our honeymoon,
02:38and the door went one morning,
02:40and so Dave went and answered the door,
02:42and I was in the nude.
02:43And the maid was there?
02:44Yes.
02:45Oh, where was the Don't Disturb sign?
02:47We didn't know.
02:48Don't tell me, don't tell me.
02:49Once at a posh dinner in Germany,
02:51you were lent over the table.
02:53So what happened?
02:54Oh, yes, I lent over the table and lent over the candle.
02:56Oh, over the candle, yes.
02:58And it burnt the bust of my dress.
03:00No, or the top of your dress.
03:02Oh, well, I'll make a note of that.
03:05Oh, yes.
03:07Candelabra.
03:12Yes, yes, yes.
03:15The robots, the robots.
03:20There we are.
03:21Now, then, over to you.
03:23Fine, yes.
03:25I've heard of winter draws on, but go on.
03:27Now, over to your son-in-law, Adrian.
03:30Age.
03:31Age.
03:3264, what's it got to do with you?
03:35Oh, is that your nickname?
03:36Yes.
03:37Age, but Adrian, age, yeah.
03:39I mean, family.
03:40Oh, well, it couldn't have been Ada, could it?
03:42No, that'd be...
03:43Mind you, with the shorts, it might have been right.
03:45Anyway, what are you getting down with?
03:47It's those shorts they're putting me on.
03:49The shirt doesn't help either, right?
03:52What do you...
03:53You've got the measles.
03:54Right.
03:55What do you do, anyway?
03:57I'm a roll-on, roll-off foreman on Felix O'Dox.
04:00I knew it wouldn't be something easy.
04:02A roll-on and roll-off.
04:04You mean you get paid for rolling on and rolling off?
04:08Tell me one thing.
04:09When you roll on, why don't you hold on?
04:11Then you wouldn't roll on.
04:17Anyway, you're married to Alison.
04:19Let's get down to that.
04:20What does she do, Alison?
04:22She's a customs officer.
04:23A customs officer?
04:24Yes.
04:25Oh, so you don't get a goodnight kiss,
04:27you get a goodnight frisk.
04:30We all know why you're wearing those.
04:32She's probably still going through your trousers.
04:38At my age, Jen, thank you for being here.
04:40Thank you very much.
04:41We'll see who you're going to play again,
04:43because we've got a couple over there.
04:44Nice people.
04:45Very nice people.
04:47And who have we got now, if they tell me, darling?
04:50Right, our second team's from Merseyside.
04:52They're father and daughter, Barry and Lorraine Shepard.
04:55Right.
05:04That's lovely.
05:05And you're Lorraine Shepard?
05:06Yeah, that's right.
05:07And what do you do, my darling?
05:08I'm an accounts clerk.
05:09An accounts clerk, yeah.
05:10And your job involves running a ledger.
05:12Not the St Ledger.
05:13No, not the St Ledger.
05:14How old are you?
05:15I'm 19.
05:16Oh, yeah, you're past it.
05:17It's for three-year-olds.
05:20Anyway, you passed your driving test first time?
05:22Yeah.
05:23Well done.
05:24How many lessons did you have?
05:2552.
05:2652?
05:2952 lessons?
05:3052, yeah.
05:31But you did pass first time?
05:32First time, yeah.
05:33Well, I'll make a note of that.
05:35Bit thick.
05:42Any unusual habits at all you got?
05:46Yeah, I like playing with people's feet.
05:48Oh!
05:49When me uncle comes round our house, I like massaging his feet and everything.
05:52Oh, do you?
05:53Now, listen, I love this.
05:54Could you give me a chair, please?
05:57I really love this, because it's what they call...
05:59This is true.
06:02I put new socks on and everything, right?
06:04But you sit...
06:05Oh, yeah, you do know it.
06:06This is what they call reflexology.
06:08Am I right?
06:09Brilliant.
06:10Yeah, that's right.
06:11Because every little area of your foot affects some part of your body.
06:18Isn't it true?
06:19Every little place along with...
06:20Showing you from there to there.
06:21Yes.
06:22Oh, no, not there.
06:31Oh, I nearly had my first hot flash.
06:34Daphne, you know what I mean, do you?
06:36Yes, all right.
06:37But that was mild.
06:38You're a good man.
06:39That is mild.
06:40I didn't let it afterwards.
06:41Another 51 of those, you could pass my test.
06:44Now, over to your dad, Barry Shepard.
06:47That's right.
06:48Shepard.
06:49What do you do, by the way?
06:50I'm an electrician.
06:51Electrician.
06:52So you're in the generating game.
06:53That's right.
06:54Yes.
06:55And you're married to Jennifer.
06:56Did you play any musical instruments at all?
06:58No, but when I was younger, I used to play on the linoleum.
07:02We're pulling the jokes now.
07:04Right, OK, any unusual habits at all?
07:07Slipped that one in, didn't you?
07:08Yeah.
07:09Any unusual habits?
07:10Dosing off.
07:11Dropping off to sleep.
07:12Dropping off.
07:13Dropping off to sleep, yeah.
07:14Well, yeah, we'll try and keep you awake.
07:15We've got some very physical things coming up.
07:17Any ambitions at all?
07:19I like to cruise around the North Pole, you know.
07:21Oh.
07:22Yeah.
07:23You like to go to the North Pole?
07:24In between the icebergs, yeah.
07:25Yeah, well, if you get there, be careful, you know.
07:27Because if you drop off at the North Pole...
07:30So you've got a few other things, I tell you.
07:33It's a terrible thing if you get frostbite on your fingers.
07:35Anyway...
07:37Thank you for being here.
07:39You're lovely, beautiful.
07:40Over there you go.
07:41Come on, nice people.

07:49I'd just like to point out that our contestants
07:51have no idea what we have planned for them.
07:53They do not rehearse.

30:58I
31:07Love your wallpaper
31:13As winters here, you know, do you ease up on your training at all?

34:33And he woke up in a big castle. He'd love it
34:37My dressing room door is open
34:39Right, but seriously mums and dads if you're thinking of getting a bouncy castle make sure it complies with the safety
