Russian state corporation Rostec has announced the start of state trials for the BT-3F amphibious armored personnel carrier, developed by the High-Precision Complexes holding based on the BMP-3.
The new armored vehicle has officially entered the validation phase to verify its tactical and technical capabilities under real operating conditions.
According to Rostec, the BT-3F will undergo rigorous testing on land and water, covering various climates and operational environments. The program includes live-fire tests from stationary positions, on the move, and while floating.
Specifically designed to meet the needs of Russia’s Naval Coastal Troops and Ground Forces, the BT-3F can carry up to 12 fully equipped paratroopers while simultaneously providing fire support to dismounted troops in intense combat scenarios.
