00:00The e-hailing driver who had been taking Pamela Ling to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission's

00:06headquarters on April 9th says he was forced to mark the ride as completed after Ling was

00:12taken by her abductors. The driver, known only as Kok, said he picked up the 42-year-old woman

00:19from Velocity Tower in Chiras and as they approached the MACC headquarters, three vehicles

00:24suddenly surrounded his car from the front, back and the side, Harian Metro reported.

00:31He added that two men in police vests and a woman in a police uniform emerged from two of the cars.

00:38Kok said Ling had refused to alight from the car, prompting the woman to try and

00:42drag her out with the two men, explaining that this was an arrest.

00:46Yesterday, Inspector General of Police Reza Rudin Hussein said the cops had not ruled out the

00:51possibility that Ling's abduction was partly orchestrated to discredit MACC and the police.

00:58Reza Rudin said police could not reveal more details to avoid compromising upcoming actions,

01:04adding that Bukit Aman is assisting Kuala Lumpur police in the investigation.

01:08Ling was heading through the MACC headquarters to give a statement in an ongoing probe,

01:13which police said she had visited several times before her disappearance.
