00:00Investigations into the disappearance of Pamela Ling remain ongoing, with police recording
00:06statements from 48 individuals so far. Kuala Lumpur Deputy Police Chief Usuf Jan Mohamad
00:12said identifying the suspects believed to be behind her abduction had been challenging.
00:18He said this is because the vehicle used was fitted with a fake registration plate
00:22and had a mismatched chassis number. Usuf also said the facial composite of the suspects
00:28was only about 40% accurate. Ling, 42, was reported missing on April 9 while on her way to the
00:35Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission headquarters in Puchajaya. A police report was lodged at 3.02pm
00:41the same day. Police previously revealed that five vehicles were involved in the incident,
00:46three of which had used cloned number plates. Ling's husband, Sarawakian businessman Ha Ting-Sue,
00:52had also been arrested to assist in an investigation, but police did not disclose
00:57the nature of the probe.
