00:12did you expect that? Not really to be quite honest I just hope I hope to be going fairly

00:19fairly quickly and then in the lead group or something like that but yeah I didn't really

00:25think of doing that that quickly. Is this your first time at the event? I did the very first

00:32very first edition back in 2014 so it's been a while but I had fond memories of doing it that day

00:39so it's nice being back it's been a great day nice buzz around the event. How's conditions today?

00:48They're pretty good there was a few drops of rain down approaching Fort Augustus but other than that

00:54it was it was fine and nice tailwind tone as well. Favourite part of the course? I got a bit of

01:02stick earlier when I said it was the it was the climb but it genuinely was a climb because it's a

01:06it's a really nice climb actually it's it's quite long and quite steep in parts but you get a couple

01:12of wee breaks in the middle of it and it's really scenic and it's a it's a nice it's a nice length so

01:17yeah I enjoyed the climb. How long have you been cycling? I've been kind of cycling kind of properly

01:25since about 2014 something like that started starting maybe slightly before that started doing

01:31sportifs and races and things like that so I've always ridden a bike but not seriously until I was

01:38in almost in my 30s. And among your cycling accomplishments where would you rate this?

01:43Uh pretty pretty high yeah yeah. Are you coming back next year? Um hopefully yeah yeah definitely

01:52definitely we'll try to. We've got a record to defend now I suppose. Yeah yeah well hopefully no one
