00:00I'm Fergus Ewing, the MSP for Inverness and Ayrn, and for the last 26 years, I've served

00:06the people of this constituency representing the Scottish National Party.

00:10But over the last four years, I do feel very sadly my party has lost its way.

00:16Instead of standing up for the people and the interests and issues that people are mainly

00:22concerned about, a strong economy, a successful NHS, excellent public services, and affordable

00:31prices for our bills, we've become interested in sidetrack issues of very little relevance

00:38to most people's lives.

00:40That's one of the reasons why I'm standing as an independent voice at Holyrood next year.

00:47Support me, and I will continue to do my best to speak for you rather than defend the SNP

00:55or other political parties.

00:58Let's work for the people in order to focus on the real issues that count.
