00:00Hi, how are you? I'm okay, how are you? I'm good. Good. So, what's your favourite song to play?
00:10Oh, that's tricky. I don't know. I'm a big fan of Scottish music, so playing the accordion
00:16tunes is the thing that makes me the happiest, but I've had to sing songs to keep the other
00:20people happy, so yeah. Okay. Sorry, I don't know if these answers are good enough, as long as you're happy.
00:26How do you decide what songs to play? Well, today was difficult because I knew it was
00:31all being filmed, so I had to keep it very clean, so the tour is going to be a bit of a mess, but
00:38I don't know. It's based on what goes down well with other people, but at the end of the day,
00:45I want to keep myself happy, because that's the thing that's gone down well the best. If you're
00:49happy, and this goes for you too, if you keep yourself happy, you'll find a niche following
00:53the people that enjoy what you do as well. Okay. Sorry. Do you prefer Scottish or modern
00:58music? Again, it depends what mood I'm in, so if sometimes Scottish music is the thing
01:06that just gets you going, but other times you need something else, a bit of heavy metal,
01:10a bit of EDM, a bit of dirty Dutch house music to get you going, you know, so I don't have
01:15any specific genre I like. It just depends what mood I'm in.
01:19What is it like to play at Balladrum?
01:23It's all right.
01:25No, it's okay. It's nice because, you know, I came to this festival enjoying it as a patron,
01:32but the fact that you're on the old main stage and people have come out to see you is just
01:37a weird feeling that I won't appreciate until I've left, you know. It's a nice feeling.
01:44It's good.
01:45Do you prefer the smaller stage or the bigger stage?
01:49So, my favourite gigs are when I'm in a wee pub and people don't know what I'm going
01:55to do, but like this last year has been a bit mad and people expect a lot. So, the big
02:03stages just make me more nervous, but the wee pub gigs, I'd love to do a tour, not telling
02:08anyone where I'm going, but just show up in a pub and just do something mad, so.
02:13Has being on Britain's Got Talent helped you get more gigs?
02:17No.
02:19Why?
02:21No, it has, but I felt, I knew that that show would, I don't know, I'm drunk and the
02:34truth's coming out, so. I could have done something a lot better in the live show, but
02:39they wouldn't let me, so, yeah.
02:42Hey, thank you for getting one of the shirts. That's the first time I've really seen them.
02:47Yeah.
02:48No, well, thank you for getting it.
02:50It's your birthday.
02:51It's your birthday?
02:52Yeah.
02:53How old are you?
02:54Twelve.
02:55Twelve? Well, my happy birthday, like.
02:56Alright.
