Dave & Chuck the Freak talk about a woman in Coral Cables who flew out of a parking garage after accidentally hitting the gas pedal instead of the brake.

00:00okay uh you know gotta be embarrassing for this lady she's not an old lady just a woman who was

00:13driving in a parking garage in her porsche and hit the gas instead of the brake and flew out of

00:20the parking garage though and was luckily able to be rescued by firefighters because it could have

00:28been real real bad for this lady here's the story from wplg tv first responders calling this one a

00:36miracle take a look it's a slight lower from each and every angle the lady that hit the accelerator

00:44onlookers and first responders amazed went through the wall that the driver made it out okay how

00:50important is that tree it's absolutely something that produced a miracle that's coral gables fire

00:55division chief xavier jones who says on the third floor of this coral gables parking garage the woman

01:00driving this white porsche suv accidentally hit the accelerator crashing through a concrete wall

01:06careening into a tree which kept the vehicle from falling to the ground then came the dramatic rescue

01:11it's very technical firefighters had to get on ropes as swiftly arriving firefighters repelled off the

01:19parking structure down into the vehicle to safely hoist the driver out and up by rope no noted visible injuries

01:26i'm pretty sure that she was pretty shaken up but looking at it from the outside she was fairly calm

01:33considering how dramatic this incident was they did transport her to an area hospital as a precaution

01:39right now what they're doing is they're stabilizing the vehicles making sure that the structure is stable

01:44then firefighters and structural engineers with the city of coral gables worked together on the

01:49delicate task of stabilizing the precariously perched porch

01:52the tow truck company that's going to pull the vehicle out

01:57the firefighters that did an amazing job with rescuing her very fast and she was out within 20 minutes

02:06to be honest it's in way better shape and she is expected to be okay so a very dramatic start to her

02:13monday and for as unlucky as she was to accidentally hit an accelerator crashing through a wall in a tree

02:18it is that tree and those swiftly responding firefighters that first responders here say make her incredibly

02:25lucky they do also add that they were assisted by miami fire reporting live for you to

02:29it's so embarrassing to end up in a tree oh my god

02:32yes it is cars in a tree i just never want to be in an embrace with a man on a rope

02:37it's been a bad day something bad has happened that's a terrible day something bad has happened

04:08it that way in the moment but we've seen many a man be done that embrace to get out of somewhere

04:14you're terrified you're doing the embrace you do from a boat rescue to a you know a rescue in a pit

04:20a cliff yep whatever it is if you were hanging upside down would they try to get you upright or

04:26would you have to like get them 69 style standing oh i don't i don't want no they're gonna flip you

04:33they would flip you they would flip you no one no they'll only go so far right i'm just making sure

04:39like i'm not gonna be in a man's crotch i don't because i'm still just as scared

05:03live right i can't even imagine how scared i'd be because like the heights thing the falling fear

05:10i don't think you'd be thinking about how you look oh no i just be like get me down so even though you

05:16would be embracing that man as hard as you could yeah and that's the true fact you would be you want

05:20to live you made it yep and you want to get out of there i'd be emotional at the end

05:24he's crying as he brings it down a kiss he's like stop crying yeah stop kissing me sir

05:29you'll be on the ground for 10 minutes yeah i still won't let go yeah he's like let go

05:34please let go no please let go yeah again a situation hopefully no one on the show ever has

05:43to be no she's just really lucky there was that giant tree there because she flew out of a third

05:47story parking garage and should be on the ground upside down so for sure
