00:00So, dude, have you ever played guitar in a rock batter?
00:05I can tell. You look fantastic.
00:07So, I've seen you in places from New York City to Stagecoach to Allegiant Stadium.
00:15And what is it like now going down into the intimacy of your Plus One, which kicks off tonight?
00:23This is cool. You'll get this. It's like soundcheck.
00:25Now everything's just right here, except there are people out there, right?
00:29And you get to try things.
00:31And it's amazing, man.
00:33The greatest thing about a Garth Brooks audience for me is they'll let you fail.
00:38And they'll support you like you just won the World Series.
00:40Because they know you're trying.
00:42So, that's what they're going to see.
00:43They're going to see the laboratory.
00:45We're going to try some stuff.
00:46Hey, I'm halfway through this. What do you think?
00:48Kind of thing.
00:48And be honest with me.
00:49And they'll give me crap about stuff.
00:51And it's fun.
00:52So, I feel like I'm at home right here.
00:54So, what you're saying is there may be new music coming.
00:56No, there's going to be a lot of new music here.
00:59But there'll be things tonight we've played on stage that they know inside and out that we've never played ever.
01:04It'll be other people's music.
01:05So, it's just that kind of fun thing.
01:07And this is the place to do it.
01:09So, you are renowned for doing things in a big way.
01:14You do firsts.
01:15You did the National Geographic, national parks.
01:19Did you learn anything in particular as you were narrating that?
01:24I think you just learned that different things take different hours, right?
01:29So, I thought narrating it, this will be fun.
01:32That's a lot of work.
01:34These guys work a lot.
01:35And it's funny.
01:36When you do music, you don't care if you're out there for eight hours.
01:39But you're reading script.
01:41About 30 minutes of that feels like eight hours.
01:43And these guys expect eight hours of work.
01:46They work hard.
01:47And it's like, okay, I get it.
01:48So, it's a respect is probably what you learn mostly about somebody doing something different than what you do.
01:53All right.
01:53One final question.
01:55We're here in Las Vegas, the entertainment capital of the world.
01:58You got your plus one.
01:59You call it like a second home.
02:01Any thoughts of opening up one of your friends-in-law places here in Las Vegas?
02:07We've been asked that.
02:08I'm going to tell you the exact same question.
02:10The one in Nashville has been a labor of love because we didn't license it out.
02:14We're just building it ourselves.
02:15I can't imagine ever doing it again.
02:16But if there is a second city on this planet we would ever do it, it would be right here.
02:21This place fits the friends-in-law places so well.
02:24All right.
02:25Garth, thank you so much.
02:26Very much.
02:26And good luck on the great shows.
02:28I will take it.
