00:06He's gotten three trips alone this year, and that doesn't include work things where he

00:11gets to go alone and sleep by himself and not be woken up eight times a night by the

00:16kids in a hotel room.

00:18Where does he go?

00:19He I mean, work trips, he goes all the time.

00:21That doesn't count.

00:22He's already been on a ski trip this year with his friends to Denver in the country.

00:27That's OK.

00:27OK, and he is also gone.

00:31Where else did he go?

00:31Oh, he went on a golf trip to Florida in the country.

00:34That's OK.

00:35The difference is that you're traveling overseas to Italy, which is a lot of people's dream

00:40vacation.

00:40And I get that you have your friend Elena who lives there and she's hooking you up and

00:44you're going to be staying there.

00:45So she saves you money.

00:46Yep.

00:47But the point is, is I don't know too many married couples where one goes on an international

00:53vacation and the other doesn't.

00:54Well, this is my first ever.

00:56So there's that.

00:59It's not like I'm doing it all the time.

01:03Is it weird that I am I wrong for finding this odd?

01:07Well, I kind of consider this like a girl's trip because it's me and Elena, right?

01:10It's not like just me going on a trip by myself.

01:13And I think people take international girls trips like people go.

01:18Producer Nicole, do I find is it weird that I'm finding it odd that she's going to Italy

01:22by herself like a girl's trip would be like a weekend to Nashville.

01:27Well, she also had an au pair from Italy.

01:29I think that makes it a little different.

01:33I just I mean, my girlfriend's my best friend.

01:36So I would feel guilty doing experiences without her.

01:40Like, I would just want her there.

01:43Like, but I think it's very healthy to travel by yourself.

01:47I mean, Lauren is her own person.

01:49I'm super independent.

01:50And Elena's her own friend.

01:53Also, her and her husband have experienced Italy together.

01:57If Dallas had never been to Italy.

02:23You want an international vacation.

02:25I would love to hear people that go to international vacations alone.

02:28I don't think you're in here from anybody else, though.

02:30I don't think anybody else left their husband or wife or partner.

02:34And went to Hawaii or went to Mexico.

02:38No, no, it doesn't happen when you're married.

02:40When you're married, when you travel internationally, you travel together.

02:43But like you're making it.

02:44I feel like you're going to give Dallas a complex like he shouldn't trust me or something going

02:47international.

02:48It's not trusting.

02:49It's just it's like it's that's a big thing.

02:51And you're married and you should do that together.

02:54People go to Alaska.

02:54It's a lot cheaper this way.

02:56For just me to go and be able to bunk up with someone.

03:00You know, my parents traveled to Egypt together, Rome together, Ireland together.

03:07We've done all that together.
