00:00:20talking to do here i don't know if you sharing a mic with shorty shane see that's another

00:00:24deficiency in the studio we just don't have enough microphones so i want shorty shane to

00:00:29oh look roxanne is giving shorty shane a hug hey did you get that cute moment on video coop did you

00:00:35i did oh that was that was so nice roxanne walking into the studio

00:00:40froggy's hugging him too oh look froggy just gave shorty shane a hug as well

00:00:46and of course all visible on mj tv the entire mj morning show every day is broadcast live on tv

00:00:57we stream the whole show and you can watch the whole show live or you can go back and watch the

00:01:03show after the show's over you know later in the day later at night nothing on tv hey watch mj tv

00:01:10and you'd be able to see the beautiful moment of roxanne and froggy hugging shorty shane all right

00:01:16so listen mj shane and i are sitting right next to each other we're about a foot apart so if he needs

00:01:21the mic it's right here hello okay the mic it's right here all right this is so bush league it's

00:01:25awful however we're sitting in the same camera angle bush league operations so when you watch us

00:01:30on mj tv you'll see a very large man and a very small man jammed in the same let me apologize first

00:01:36for fester's breath all right that's right hey shorty shane did fester shower today you're right next

00:01:43to him um hang on oh gosh he's sniffing i guess i like his shirt a little ripe maybe froggy's beard

00:01:52smells like a grow house and he's talking about my breath shorty shane just sniffed fester froggy has

00:01:58so many marijuana seeds in his beard that it's actually starting to sprout folks i want to show

00:02:04something to the camera right now i want to show the the list of bullet points that that fester sent

00:02:14me last night of the fiasco unfolding so i've got i i've got a whole list of everything that happened

00:02:23oh god all right ladies and gentlemen let's start with what we were trying to do and things went oh by

00:02:30the way coop who won the bon jovi tickets a few moments ago diana diana from lakeland all right

00:02:36fantastic diana enjoy bon jovi uh michelle and i and friends will be at bon jovi tomorrow night and

00:02:41amelie maybe we'll we'll see you there all right so here's what happened there was a story about a

00:02:48babysitter in lake county and she put a four-year-old kid in a clothes dryer put some towels in there

00:02:57through the kid in the clothes dryer she was the babysitter for the four-year-old pushed the start

00:03:03button and the four-year-old was tumbling in the dryer i guess it was some kind of a disciplinary

00:03:08measure whatever the story is babysitter was arrested the kid was taken to the hospital the

00:03:12kid's fine probably the right of his life but listen the bottom line is don't put a four-year-old

00:03:18in a clothes dryer do not as any type of disciplinary measure or any type of an amusement like a cheap

00:03:26thrill let's say things are tight and you can't buy the tickets for uh bush gardens or universal or

00:03:32or disney let's say you can't even spring for that carnival with the suspect equipment set up in some

00:03:40church parking lot all right listen well that got a little smile out of fester all right so so if you're

00:03:48looking for some cheap thrills and amusement and you can't afford the amusement parks and you know

00:03:52because money's tight don't put your kids in appliances absolutely do not put them in a in a

00:03:58dryer and that was the whole premise here that we were going to shoot an mj morning show public

00:04:03service announcement just a cute little video hey don't think about putting your kids in the dryer

00:04:10and cute is what we were going that's it just just a cute cute fun just a you know a fun little

00:04:17video that you can just go ha ha ha hey i'll chuckle at informative because people need to

00:04:23be reminded of not to do that oh yeah i'm so pissed off there's no video well there is video but the

00:04:29video has been confiscated by management that's under lock and key yeah for what reason well there's

00:04:36going to be a discussion about the video a little later this is after the show today will be the first

00:04:41time that everybody's in the same room i can just blur out the people's faces all right fester let's talk

00:04:46about what happened folks this was an absolute disaster i start getting texts off the chain

00:04:53my phone is blowing up yesterday morning fester i've got buck our video guy buck is you know he's

00:05:01like scared crapless he had to flee the scene you know he escaped with the video because uh fester was

00:05:07afraid that the video was going to be uh confiscated by the cops or something whatever the story was

00:05:12afraid is the wrong word i concerned concerned was afraid of nothing all right let's tell the story

00:05:19from the very beginning all right fester can you uh make heads or tails out of this uh bullet point

00:05:25list that you emailed me last night sure before we start yes i would like to acknowledge how awesome

00:05:32shorty shane is he was fantastic through the whole morning the whole day and listen when when this

00:05:41story is told folks there are actually some twists and turns where the mj morning show crew

00:05:48didn't even come close to committing the most heinous and potentially illegal criminal act in this matter

00:05:58it's a lot there's a lot to unfold here all right all right now shane stop me or correct me if i if i

00:06:05if i mess anything up or is there anything i can add so i i gotta have him on a microphone i mean

00:06:11here take mine all right hang on grab yeah grab froggy's mic but then froggy you want to go into

00:06:16coop's booth froggy you froggy you go into coop's booth yeah you you all right shane has froggy's

00:06:21we just don't have enough microphones in this shoebox all right so yeah you you go grab your

00:06:26headphones you you i'll have you up you you go into the coop booth all right all right let me

00:06:31adjust this camera real fast because i need sure i need shorty shane on video so shorty shane and i

00:06:36are in the same video shot on mj tv all right so we call shorty shane a couple days ago we tell him

00:06:43what the plan is he's instantly down for it and says he knows the owner of this laundry man great so

00:06:50that's really all the investigation we did into the approval process of using this yeah it's like

00:06:55listen i had the idea i'm like hey listen babysitter puts a four-year-old in a dryer man this is just

00:07:00itching for an mj morning show video reenactment and a public service announcement so obviously dave

00:07:06the dwarf our beloved dave the dwarf is just you know physically not in the best of shape so i you

00:07:12know 10 years ago 15 years ago we throw dave the dwarf in the dryer no problem but now not so much

00:07:18and i stumbled across shorty shane i was going to get some pulled pork and some yellow rice

00:07:23uh some uh you know some cuban roast pork i was uh up here at uh what at peepo's right yeah and

00:07:28that's what i ran into this it was fate like before christmas i ran into shorty shane i'm like

00:07:33oh my god it's like it's dave the dwarf part two just a couple inches taller not much how tall are you

00:07:39three five i see you're three foot five dave the dwarf is three foot two all right all right so shorty

00:07:44shane is our four-year-old and we're going to throw him in a dryer and shoot a video on never put a

00:07:50four-year-old in a dryer at a laundromat or at home all right faster go ahead so this laundromat

00:07:57that we went to mj i swear to god it is the most packed crowded laundromat i've ever seen in my life

00:08:04i've never been i don't go to laundromats that often at 10 freaking 30 in the morning that's what

00:08:09i said i'm like dude it's so crowded here it was i got there before it was jammed every parking spot

00:08:14was taken what what why is a laundromat jammed at 10 30 on a wednesday morning i i don't know

00:08:20i know it was crowded because i already have texters asking i saw police somewhere yesterday

00:08:25was it they were at this launch yes okay yes the cops were called to the laundromat yes all right

00:08:31go ahead fester so it's a lot of people in there shane gets there a few minutes before us he kind of

00:08:37scouts it out buck and i walk in right at the uh meet time at 10 30 buck is our beasley video guy

00:08:43i kind of look at the place and i see off to the side the most impressive dryer i've ever seen

00:08:51that the public can use a 75 pound dryer it was about four feet large shorty shane how much do you

00:08:59weigh right on the cusp of like 95 96 all right so 20 20 pounds over so no big deal so i i didn't have

00:09:06the idea how much shane weighed but uh 75 pound dryer i'm like that's the one we're using so i buy

00:09:13my little card you know you have to use a little card at the laundromat i buy the card and i say

00:09:19hello to a person who is the manager of the store and i just said hi i didn't tell her what we're doing

00:09:24and nothing like that and i said hi how are you she asked if it was my first time here i said yes she

00:09:28let me show you how to use the machine and she follows me to the 75 pound dryer she sees buck with the

00:09:34camera and says you guys can't shoot video in here i'm like we can't she's you or you need my

00:09:38approval i'm the manager and i was like no problem i step outside with her and i was like hey i'm sorry

00:09:43i'm fester from the mj morning show uh we're doing a we were doing a i told about the woman in lake city

00:09:48and how we're going to do a little video about how not to put people in dryers we have the public

00:09:52interest in mind here we're trying to shoot a public service announcement we're hoping this video

00:09:57would dissuade any crazy babysitter or parent from putting their kid inside a laundry dryer well

00:10:04this the same manager knows me because i go in this laundromat with my best friend and actually use

00:10:09it oh you're the customer you tell me you don't have a law you don't have a washing no i do but

00:10:14sometimes i go with my best friend like when we have nothing to do and he has to wash a lot of

00:10:18clothes so we go hang out so they know he's seen me and my first one when you have nothing to do

00:10:24you hang out in a laundromat on fourth street at st pete i will tell you i will tell everybody in

00:10:29this room i'll tell everybody listening this is the nicest laundromat i've ever been all right it

00:10:33is very nice yeah and then it turned ugly until it was yes so far i want to be clear about this you

00:10:38have a good relationship with the manager yes yes so far so good and then remember shane told me

00:10:44that he knows the owner i'm like all right this whole thing is this is totally greased everything's

00:10:49good so we thought we had some blessings we may not have had later i thought we were

00:10:54in i thought we knew people so did i yeah all right so i take shane outside bucks with us and

00:10:59outside of the laundromat we do the opening of the video where i would talk straight into the camera in

00:11:05a very serious tone introduce myself recap the story in lake city and talk about how important it is to

00:11:10never abuse a child in that capacity by throwing them in an appliance and you never want to

00:11:15then my keyword was grab a four-year-old and i scooped shane up off the ground threw him over my

00:11:23shoulder and kind of body slammed them in a laundry cart those laundry carts on wheels yeah

00:11:28gosh did you hurt him did i hurt you no shame were you hurt at any time no okay so careful then i kind

00:11:35of go crash cart style into the laundromat through the glass doors gotcha and then it was cut

00:11:41that was the scene cut no why are you shooting it in scenes because it's a score sassy listen

00:11:48fat sassy all right by the way froggy is in the producer booth right now i hate it in here if you

00:11:54can't see froggy on mj tv because we don't have enough mics in the studio let's get a couple things

00:11:58straight you know you realize we can't have a guest in studio that all the mics are occupied by us we

00:12:02can't have a guest who needs guest mic exactly all right so go ahead yeah so froggy wasn't there by the

00:12:08way no i stay away from bad situations yeah yeah also i was i was conspicuously absent as well of

00:12:15course because because we had the blessing of management i didn't think there was a need to do any

00:12:22kind of gorilla style video exactly people were asking me why i wasn't there because they heard

00:12:27the little bit about it was going to be my child in the dryer and i was like no i stayed away from

00:12:31that so we we were going to make a produced nice video it was going to be funny it's been like a

00:12:37minute long but we were going to do it in scenes we're going to do it right so it sounds like the

00:12:41first opening scene was a minute of you just yakking froggy really for for for an ass i wasn't even

00:12:47there you're not contributing to this conversation at all give me shut his mic off shut his booth off

00:12:52i'm not chugging i'm sorry all right you weren't there at all i mean seriously give me a little bit

00:12:57of the opening spiel that was more eight bits off youtube the opening the opening the opening intro

00:13:02didn't even um expose anything about the laundromat we're like literally in a corner yeah so i'm

00:13:07underneath the little and i and the intro went like this go ahead hi this is fester from the mj

00:13:11morning show recently we covered a story from uh lake city florida where a person took a small child

00:13:17and put them in their laundry dryer this is a heinous act it's reprehensible in no way shape or form

00:13:24and i went on like this should you ever for entertainment purposes or punishment this is

00:13:29completely unacceptable and listen people should immediately understand the seriousness

00:13:32of this message right this is not to be taken lightly then my demeanor changes when i go you

00:13:38should never take a four-year-old and pick him up and throw him yeah so i picked him up and i threw

00:13:44him over my shoulder and i slammed him in the cart we crash cart style into the laundromat can you pick

00:13:48pick him up quickly for mj tv yeah sure i picked him up right now just kidding there we go

00:13:51i'm very strong all right put him back on put him back on mic too all right

00:13:59okay so then what happened i get with things on what happens so now everybody in the place knows

00:14:06something crazy is going and the place is packed yeah it's packed so now all eyes are on you guys so

00:14:10now i kind of look around and suddenly everybody in the place pulls their cell phone out and

00:14:16they're shooting video of us shooting video of us so there's plenty of footage out there there's

00:14:21other footage oh yeah and that's because everyone is like a tv station these days everyone with their

00:14:27smartphones that's why you can't do stupid stuff in public anymore because you're going to be videoed

00:14:31by 20 different people i wish we would have talked about that this is the thing when i go out and do

00:14:36like pranks with the camera camera yeah big one it's no different than showing up somewhere with

00:14:41your cell phone i try to tell people that this is just like a bigger cell phone yeah because they'll

00:14:46they'll record the same so i crash cart him into the laundromat cut buck repositions the manager

00:14:53comes back manager's like hey hey what's going down i was like hey remember i told you we're going to

00:14:58do this and she goes she goes you can't put him in the dryer and i was like what i told you that's

00:15:03exactly what we're here to do that's the only reason why we're here is to put him in the dryer

00:15:06and she said i don't want you putting him in the dryer and this is the manager now

00:15:10the manager of the store something is uh getting hinky right so i acknowledge that she asked me

00:15:16not to put him in the dryer i said thank you okay thank you but obviously the whole bit doesn't work

00:15:21the whole video doesn't work unless shorty shane is thrown in the dryer so then she leaves now at

00:15:28this point do you have the dryer like pre-packed with blankets and pillows yeah okay so back step a

00:15:33little bit i brought several large pillows i brought a bunch of towels i think i brought a

00:15:38sheet or like a comforter so there's padding in there right because we can't have him just you

00:15:43know flying around and hitting those those fins that you know the they were metal paddles in there

00:15:49paddles that's what sparked her curiosity she's like why are you drawing dry clothes well because

00:15:54she came to the dryer to help her level of when she first met us she came to show us how to work

00:15:59the dryer right and she's where's your clothes and i hand her all this dry stuff she goes it's dry

00:16:03i was like yeah i know yeah so anyway she says don't put him in the dryer you absolutely cannot

00:16:10put him in the dryer and was this on video buck might have it on his video i wonder if anybody

00:16:15there has a video that when did you say there's a lot of people there people are apparently filming

00:16:20this whole deal nobody's up in our face this is like a close encounter conversation it wasn't

00:16:24yelled across the place she's you know three feet in front of me you should see if anybody's

00:16:27there and they could call in and give us the video and i you know what was anybody that's a

00:16:32good that's a well thank you mj probably that that's a good one if anyone was there if anyone

00:16:38witnessed this call us up 800-990-1047 i think we should be worried about who has a video not what

00:16:47we got yeah all right 800-990-1047 800-990-1047 if anybody witnessed this or if you rolled video

00:16:59has this like been put up on social media has anyone put this on i don't know all right 800-990-1047

00:17:06if you were inside the laundromat on fourth street in st pete when this whole thing devolved and went

00:17:12nuts all right let's go she leaves she kind of goes back to her manager stand after telling us

00:17:18do not put shane in the dryer right so now we're kind of at a impasse do we just pack up and leave

00:17:25do we find another location do we scrap the whole thing or do we just do it and buck and i went back

00:17:32and forth a couple of times reviewing the options shane was down for anything i was like shane what do

00:17:37you want to do he's like whatever bro so he was cool and i was like okay i'm gonna pick shane up

00:17:43out of the uh cart buck you stand in that corner you roll video i'm gonna slam him in the dryer turn

00:17:48it on and we'll see how it goes and that's exactly what you decide to go gorilla here yes yes and just

00:17:54get the shot instead of uh regrouping getting out of here and didn't buck want to like creatively try

00:18:01to edit and and kind of fake the video as we're talking about you said no we got to put the shorty

00:18:06shane in the dryer and he's got to be spinning around i gotta have his face going

00:18:10you know through the glass so buck is a video editor guy so he's like hey you know i and he would keep

00:18:17right away he stepped up i could edit this to look really real no but i'm telling you what he could

00:18:23have i'm telling you the conversation the the the deliberation no no roxy he couldn't no yeah he could

00:18:27because he could have put him in a in a his no dryer and edit we're saying different things yes in the

00:18:33in the world he could have created it however it's completely unacceptable for what we're doing

00:18:37right anything that we're gonna do we're not we're never gonna fake a video no it's got to be a hundred

00:18:43percent real so that is my commitment to you the mj morning show listener the only thing we fake is

00:18:48laughs once in a while no we don't

00:18:50anyway but so i tell buck nope the buck if we're gonna do it we're gonna do it right whatever happens

00:18:57happens stand in the corner just roll on everything do not shut your camera off and you decide just to go

00:19:02gorilla style and just get it done it was a one one take we get it i pick him up i put him in the

00:19:07dryer i close the door i already had my laundry card in the slot i already picked no heat no heat and i

00:19:15hit start thank you no heat right yeah thank you're welcome shane and he starts tumbling no is it making

00:19:23noise it was like bringing the building down it was i got it that was my head i got a three foot six

00:19:35uh 95 pound uh uh short what do you what do you like to call yourself little yeah little person

00:19:41like shorty whatever he's this is the dwarf dryer

00:19:45boom boom boom because the paddle the paddle would lift him up three quarters on the side

00:19:52and then gravity would take boom boom okay shane what did it feel like um my honest opinion yeah

00:20:00didn't feel too great he's getting knocked around he hit like might as well have no blankets in there

00:20:08the key about having pillows and blankets is you have to be able to land on the pillows and

00:20:14blankets he landed on none of it i would be scared those would suffocate you he he roxanne this was a

00:20:19huge drive it was enormous sleeping bag he just went into a sleeping bag but mj it was so loud now the

00:20:28entire laundromat the 40 people they're doing their laundry on a wednesday at 10 45 they're all

00:20:34gathering it's a mass of people and everyone's holding up their cameras right the manager yeah

00:20:39comes darting through the crowd oh my god and she says only a few words i'm calling the police

00:20:49oh boy now oh no wait before you get to that i have a question yes for shane yes so i i guess i don't

00:20:58think much about the mechanics of a dryer was it like flipping you and spinning you inside was it

00:21:04like what was happening to your body my body wasn't really moving i was like this kind of

00:21:11but like scared yeah he was scared it was rotating my body but i didn't actually flip my whole body

00:21:18was like going in a circle like a hamster oh yeah okay yeah every time it would come back down is

00:21:24when you heard the boom like a bowling ball that was my head oh my oh my god it's like that last part

00:21:29of the fun house when you have to like stay on the wheel the big spinning wheel except it's going

00:21:34at 100 miles an hour should have played the song from greece the froggy yeah this guy you're the one

00:21:40that i want exactly sandy there's a midget on the phone house oh all right so it was so loud so i mean

00:21:48little person sorry she's she she says i'm calling the police i'm calling the police oh no that's not

00:21:56good instantly i then she goes on i told you not to do it and you did and instantly mj i apologize i

00:22:03said listen i'm sorry we're leaving right now you're absolutely right thank you very much we're

00:22:07sorry for any inconvenience because you're right you got the video we got the video you got the

00:22:11video now it's time for us to go try to de-escalate and get the hell out so i look around there's a lot

00:22:16of people they're all her friends they are at this laundromat all the time i'm the imposter i'm the i'm

00:22:22this evil person what is this the laundry club they're there every day i will tell you right

00:22:27now there were a there were a reasonable amount of full-grown men standing up just monitoring the

00:22:35situation right on her side not ours right jane were there several dudes there yeah and they one

00:22:41proceeds to block my car so i got all these laundry losers that are now staring you guys down losers are

00:22:47they're doing laundry there's an event and the laundry people didn't do anything to protect shane

00:22:52well they maybe they should have come after you they're calling the police they're more mad at me

00:22:57they're mad at me right now so they're gonna call the police i tell buck buck run get out of here

00:23:04because buck has the video all right buck didn't flee the scene i heard that narrative come down yesterday

00:23:10i told him to leave because i don't know what's gonna happen if she would have called and said

00:23:15there's three guys in here wrecking my store police would have come with guns drawn that's kind of like

00:23:20that's kind of like a photographer mantra just get the shot yeah get the video get the picture

00:23:28get the shot the most important thing is get the shot so buck got it we got the shot we have all the

00:23:35video we need at this point and you tell buck run things are about to get ugly get the hell out of

00:23:41here and buck runs to his truck now buck and i parked a couple of buildings away so he was

00:23:47outside of the front of the store so he took off to the left gets in his truck peels out on fourth

00:23:51now at that point they recognize that buck is running with the camera yes because he's the

00:23:55they know he was the camera guy the whole time and then people start running after buck well people

00:23:59start running after and then in the parking lot holding up their camera like their vigilante

00:24:04videographers exactly and they're standing in fourth street standing in the road trying to film

00:24:09bucks pickup truck race by and these are the friends of the laundry manager or whomever i don't

00:24:15know who any of these people are aside from the manager but listen i'm not looking to be in any

00:24:18kind of physical altercation at this time i certainly don't want shane to get injured when do the cops

00:24:22come in and when did when does uh beasley management arrive on the scene i take off from my car shane

00:24:30goes to his i have shane's keys yeah this is a kicker i have fester's at his car i'm at my door

00:24:35trying to pry to open up because i'm leaving and i'm like fester he's like what i'm like you got my

00:24:40key in your pocket why didn't you so you couldn't get in your car to leave oh wait a minute so that

00:24:46that delay caused the manager to be able to block you in right and use her friend's

00:24:56suv or whatever it was to block me in oh my god what a rookie mistake for criminals i had

00:25:02why the hell would you have shorted shane's keys to his car because we're prepping the the bit and

00:25:09shane's like hey if i'm gonna tumble around in this uh laundry machine i shouldn't i have my stuff

00:25:15oh i'll hold it i put it so i put it in my back pocket oh my god so fester ruined it so i go back

00:25:20throw shane his keys throw him his phone and i look and the manager is standing and shane gets in

00:25:25his car starts his car the manager is standing beside behind his car standing behind it right

00:25:30wait what so i the manager of the laundromat is now outside standing behind shorty shane's car

00:25:39blocking him from backing up and getting out once he had his keys well you can't do that right okay

00:25:45hold on hold on that's where this thing turns interestingly more it gets it gets a crazier from

00:25:53here so instantly i know i'm not taking off anytime soon so i just calm myself down because i'm gonna

00:25:58be here a couple minutes i'm gonna try to navigate and talk my way out of this and i walked up to the

00:26:03manager and i said and i touched her upper shoulder here and i was like ma'am you might want to move

00:26:08he's backing up his car i don't want you to get hit and she says don't touch me i'm not moving i was

00:26:15like okay and i said it with a smile because now why you would you put your hands on her shoulder

00:26:20to uh on her crazy on her shoulder well listen on her shoulder to move her from getting hit by a car

00:26:27i'm not gonna hit her all right so she calls the police then i'm thinking hey buck's gone but

00:26:36shane has five cameras in his car i have my cell phone so we start rolling on all the stuff that's

00:26:42happening outside she's on her cell phone with the police yes oh my god uh saint pete police uh

00:26:51what's your emergency yeah there's three guys here at my laundromat with i told them not to put the

00:26:58dwarf in the dryer they put the dwarf in the dryer the dwarf is going batang batang batang

00:27:04she tells 9-1-1 that we threw a man in a dryer and turned it on 9-1-1 does their job right

00:27:14is anybody injured do we need to send paramedics and i don't know how she's going to answer

00:27:20so i'm yelling over no don't send paramedics send the police and then she's like are they

00:27:27armed because she's calling on behalf of the laundromat at disturbance are they it's a logical

00:27:33question for 9-1-1 to ask no nobody's armed you know there's no threat here you know this whole

00:27:41time she's standing on the bumper of shorty shane's car she is blocking shorty shane in folks do you

00:27:48know what this means do you know what legally this is described as if somebody if the manager of the

00:27:53laundromat is blocking shorty shane from leaving that is called what fester in the state of florida

00:28:02is called false imprisonment oh all right folks do you understand what's going on here the little

00:28:09antics inside the laundromat have nothing on the fact that now the manager is blocking shorty shane

00:28:18from leaving and that happens to be a felony

00:28:22so this person who just woke up to do their job at a laundromat is now guilty of a felony

00:28:31a couple hours later all right this isn't what we want this is we just want to leave

00:28:36let the police come to our radio i made no secrets about who we are who we are where we work and what

00:28:42we do what we're doing there everything was out in the open and then did you say hey do you mind if

00:29:54in her head and she was angry and and justifiably and she had her own concerns and we tried to i tried

00:30:04a nice lady because she knows me i know her yeah she was a nice person like she didn't know she's

00:30:08calling the cops yeah how nice could she be calling the police she didn't say get away from me you dirt

00:30:27imprisonment that is a felony so the cops arrive several times she said listen i just want to make

00:31:29department had you know they they prioritized this appropriately and knew it wasn't so it took 45

00:31:34minutes for the cops to arrive because this was not a serious emergency it was not and then the police

00:31:40department recognized that and they handled serious 911 calls first i'm sure they eventually

00:31:44get to us before that happens i try to call an uber to go home really we're sitting there for 45

00:31:51minutes with this manager and shane and i are kind of joking around with each other like hey shane i

00:31:56wonder who's going to show up first an uber or the police and then i was like hey store manager who

00:32:01do you think would show up first and she would she had her bottom lip up she wouldn't answer us

00:32:05and i said uh it's the uber isn't it we kind of joked and she broke her smile a few times

00:32:11there's no threat there at any time our manager from the radio station our operations managers

00:32:18your vice president vice president and general manager steve triplett who now who called triplett

00:32:25yeah oh oh okay so buck races back to the station and he did the right thing by a telling management

00:32:32that several of your employees is about to have a legal confrontation with authorities he told ted

00:32:37and steve yeah he had to he he did the exact right thing and ted says well that is the first word out

00:32:46of ted's mouth well so so buck fills in management after he escaped with the video and the cameras

00:32:52he comes back and then suddenly there's a there's a three alarm fire here so uh steve triplett the market

00:32:59manager and vice president he leaves his office his uh his cool stand-up desk and he rushes now

00:33:05to a laundromat parking lot on fourth street which is here in saint pete which is exactly what you want

00:33:11your manager to do he came by he stood up for us he wanted to clarify the situation he wanted to make

00:33:16sure we were safe want to make sure they were safe he did good old steve he did everything perfectly

00:33:22steve comes i introduced steve to the manager and then i was like shane we don't need to be here

00:35:40hostile going on we were just there waiting talking but uh you come up on the scene and i hope you

00:35:47noticed i pulled shane and i away pretty quickly yeah you you guys were up by the store and she was

00:35:54still standing behind shane's car right and i did that so you and her can have a conversation without

00:36:00us there adding any little chirpy comments hopefully to get a resolution seeing if you couldn't get us

00:36:06out of anything while you were there and you seem to have calmed her down a little bit i think you did

00:36:11a really good job talking to i saw you letting her talk a lot and uh let it let her getting her side

00:36:16of the story out right yes yeah when i got there i could tell she was pretty upset she was this was not

00:36:25how she had planned to spend her day you could tell well hold on a dwarf in a dryer going

00:36:30that was not how she planned her morning i'm guessing it was outside of the job description

00:36:38that she had signed up for i would agree all right so then after about 10 minutes of steve showing up

00:36:44shane and i again are removed from their conversation saint pete police finally get to the scene

00:36:50two officers two officers respond in one car or two separate cars two separate vehicles they were

00:36:57both driving i believe they were ford explorers oh my god one was first though one both of them

00:37:01didn't show up at the same time yeah within two minutes of each other they showed up i gotcha and uh

00:37:06i cannot say more about how professional the saint pete police department was for this ridiculous

00:37:13matter all right so if you were doing a google review for the saint pete police department and their

00:37:17response to this non-emergency situation your dealings with the saint pete police department

00:37:33very direct all right but the best part is when the officer informed the manager that she had

00:37:56and she's telling everything to the cop that we did the cops listening not interrupting letting her

00:38:06will you stop but she was pretty direct when she heard enough she's like what do you want me to do

00:38:10yeah what's once the cop got the gist of the story she says what do you want to see happen and

00:38:14she's like i want these guys charged oh my gosh and the cop says i cannot do that small claims

00:38:21all nice so all i can do small claims corner shame i got it what did she say i got mine too

00:38:30all they can do is issue us trespassing warrants oh that's a sweet picture

00:38:52audio you do and don't have steve the officers gave shane and i trespassing warrants right they have

00:38:58yellow trespass warrants and again that's i it's exactly what i told when fester and buck when everyone's

00:39:05blowing up my phone oh my god we got the cops involved the whole thing's going south i said guys

00:39:10there is this is nothing the only thing they can do is the manager can tell the police i don't want

00:39:16them on the premises ever again could you please issue trespassing warrants this is like a parking

00:39:21ticket it is nothing it is it is a pimple on the the butt of life we've gotten a bunch of these

00:39:27fester over the years i've gotten several before shane apparently has how many i have a couple because

00:39:33she's like son here i'm like i know shane knows exactly how to navigate i started at walmart do

00:39:38you have to pay anything like do you have to like no like the county or city no all it is is a can't go

00:39:43there as an acknowledgement that we can't go there anymore nothing happens if we were to return then

00:39:48we would be subject to stiffer penalties what about when you go and apply for a job is that on your

00:39:52record if they did a background search no no nothing like that where's true though guy when i really

00:39:57want to do a photo shoot and have my best friend who goes that laundromat all the time yeah go give her

00:40:02the picture of us professionally like in a frame we have phone up our trespassing we have dozens of

00:40:08photos of this whole event so the the cops give fester and shorty shane the trespass warrant but the

00:40:16deal is the cop sets the manager of the laundromat straight and what happened the manager then says

00:40:23we're done i think we're done steve steve thought we were done right at this point after we got the

00:40:29trespass warrants right steve you thought we were done we were yeah we were at the finish line and

00:40:34then the manager says what about when he pushed me referring to back to the beginning of the parking

00:40:44lot the fat guy pushed me that's why fester's so handsy steve steve and i don't know if you saw

00:40:55yourself do this or meant to do it you just kind of give me a huh like a look like a look over like

00:41:01what rut row and i i i know you saw me i mouthed to you and i wrote i said i mouthed to steve i didn't

00:41:10push her i'm innocent all you did was you put your hand on her shoulder because she was standing behind

00:41:15shorty shane's car and shorty shane is trying to leave the laundromat parking lot so any friend

00:41:20or niceness i thought we had building there steve instantly was out the window and she tried to put

00:41:26me together on a battery charge so you thought that you were building a bond with this woman

00:41:30after she just had you trespassed warranted i didn't think it was malicious i thought she was

00:41:34just going through the procedures which was fine then she tried to put me together on it well hey

00:41:38fester yes sir also when when she said that one of the police officers said excuse me he what oh no

00:41:46he was he was he was very serious about about that particular thing i saw the same thing the tide

00:41:54changed rapidly at that point back to the professionalism of the saint pete police department

00:41:58yep he the officer made her repeat it and he said tell me the circumstances and the manager said

00:42:05when i was standing behind the little one's car is that what that was your exact word gotcha when i was

00:42:12standing behind the little one's car right the big one the big el gordo shoving it on the big try to

00:42:20shove me out of the way and mj i did not say a word i wanted to jump in i you know i wanted to go back and

00:42:26forth on this i didn't say a word gotcha and the officer says so he pushed you while you were standing

00:42:33in the back of the car and she goes yes and the officer says what you were doing at that time

00:42:40was committing a felony called false imprisonment in the state of florida if somebody is trying to flee

00:42:48and there's no active crime being committed you cannot detain them oh the tide has turned

00:42:54and i'm talking about tide laundry detergent or tide pods for an hour she was holding shane

00:43:05specifically hostage dude in this parking lot shane you could have told the cops that you want to

00:43:10charge with felony false imprisonment hey i yanked my booster seat out of my car and sat on the ground

00:43:17yeah like i set it up she was camping out waiting for this lady to move off his bumper oh my god

00:43:24mj at no point did we raise our voices or anything like that and you never pushed her never pushed

00:43:28never so she tried to juice that up and then she says i have it on video and i was i was gonna say

00:43:34get the video but i didn't and the officer says ma'am if you would like i will gladly investigate your

00:43:41claim but in the process of my investigation if i find that you are guilty of false imprisonment

00:43:50then charges would come to you so that would be a felony the flippity-dippity here is that she would

00:43:57end up with absolutely the most serious charges in this whole matter you guys are not getting charged

00:44:04with anything you get a little trespass word oh you can't go inside the laundromat on fourth street

00:44:10oh and she could be hit with a felony yeah so we got these trespass warrants i don't know if it's

00:44:15for a specific amount of time oh one year it's one year one one year but the day it ends you should

00:44:20go do your laundry there no i think you go back right after the show all right so now that now we

00:44:26would get arrested if we went back we're not going back so teflon dom strikes again now that i'm

00:44:31thinking about it we should just reenacted it for the police way more understanding let me show you

00:44:37what happened officer so uh now did she understand that the cop just said that you the laundromat

00:44:43manager you've actually committed the felony here the other guys they've done really nothing they're

00:44:49not going to be charged with diddly squat but you have committed essentially a felony by preventing

00:44:56the dwarf uh you know shorty shane from leaving the laundromat steve at that time i don't know if it

00:45:01100 registered with her the severity of the situation if she would have wanted them to

00:45:06investigate no it took it a minute to think in fact both of the police officers were very nice

00:45:14and calmly explained to her that that would not work out in her favor everybody was sort of rallying

00:45:20around and trying to make sure she didn't go down a road she didn't want to go down

00:45:23you're right and even the officer said i would advise you to just get these guys off of your

00:45:29property and they will abide by the trespass warrant and you'll never see him again and make the whole

00:45:34thing go away he also said it's not worth it except on april 13th 2023 366 days from now we're going to

00:45:42do a promotion there where the mj morning show is going to do everybody's laundry we're going to

00:45:46give out laundry cards for a month leading up to it we're back one year all right i mean me and

00:45:50especially we didn't even get that much when we went into a bank screaming we didn't get in that

00:45:55much trouble it's a different it's a different time and she was very passionate about us being

00:45:59there when the authorities showed up i guess she inquired about buck being trespassed buck was not

00:46:04on the scene the video guy fled so buck fled with the cameras and the sd cards and he's got the video

00:46:10but see that brings us now so it's all said and done so eventually after that after she said she goes

00:46:16back inside i said goodbye to steve we i asked steve if he needed me for a deposition

00:46:20or anything back in the studio right he said no but but the irony here is she calls the cops

00:46:26on a little dwarf in a clothing dryer radio stunt and she could have ended up being charged with a

00:46:33freaking felony for detaining and preventing shorty shane from leaving i mean steve we could have had

00:46:39her taken away in cups right oh she's right then and there i mean she ought to be thankful that you

00:46:45guys were were uh you guys were charitable yes yes rocks well i have a question for shorty shane

00:46:50and that is what about your relationship with the manager because i thought you guys were friends

00:46:55yeah that's what i went into this whole thing thinking that we had an in that you knew the

01:15:17it oh so travis is our operations manager all right so the video card has been taken

01:15:23by management somebody so the video the video card with all the footage is in the possession i would

01:15:31imagine of travis is that correct yes all right uh-huh so we have to so would we be able to view the

01:15:38footage privately uh right now no i i don't have it i don't have it travis has the the sd card with the

01:15:46video that's what i'm asking so travis would be the one to uh show us the video right okay buck

01:15:52yesterday after she says i'm calling the police what went down look yesterday was crazy i'm still

01:16:01in shock by the way we almost killed shane bester we almost killed him you're not helping anything

01:16:08that's the first part on my bed okay i saw i saw his little head bouncing inside the dryer on that

01:16:15i got a big head very small and then when you pulled him out i think i saw him black out

01:16:22and like fall over did you black out you look at me oh he was dizzy it's like when you spit a kid

01:16:29at a birthday party and you play pin the tail on the donkey that's what this was come on this was

01:16:34just laundromat pin the tail on the donkey and then fester you looked at me after you pulled him out of

01:16:40the dryer you looked at me in the eye and you said buck run and i hopped over shane and i ran to my car

01:16:48and i'm hit the floor the pedal to the floor i'm going down fourth street the lady and a bunch of

01:16:54other people are running out of the laundromat trying to video film my license plate and i don't

01:16:59want that to happen so i hang a quick right going you know 55 miles an hour through a residential

01:17:05neighborhood that's great go back to the radio station and i there's a meeting in there i kick

01:17:12everyone out of the meeting and i i go into ted's office and explain the situation and ted says well

01:17:19well what was the first word out of ted's mouth well well

01:17:27all right so i we now know that the video exists it has not been erased but the video is not in buck

01:17:36our video guy's possession management is taking control of the sd card holding the video from

01:17:43the camera all right buck did you really hop over me i did hop over you because he was behind you he

01:17:50was in the corner videoing the uh dryer i pull you out put you on the ground and i'm dealing with the

01:17:56uh the manager and i guess i looked as soon as i knew the cops were coming i tell buck all right run

01:18:01and he jumped over you listen i'm just happy the video exists so at least it wasn't erased all right
